My favorite show. I was sad about the finale too FC! I wonder if Burke or George are really leaving? I know people hate Isiah Washington, but he is a great actor and fits the role perfectly. There seems to be conflicting stories online or whether he is returning or not. There would be a hole in the show if he left.

I don't care all that much about Burke coming back. Nothing against the actor, he was just not one of my fave characters on the show. If he comes back fine, if not I won't really miss him. GEORGE!!!!!!!!!! Had better come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE HIM!! Love the actor too. Just love him. He is adorable. I cannot even imagine this show without him. I feel very sure that he will come back because I know from reading other boards he is truly loved. Burke - not so much and the producers may just find him more trouble than he is worth. I have read from many sources that the "fag" comment was not the first or only problem on the set with Isiah. I have read that Kathrine Heigel can't stand him. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if they severed ties with him.

SB - go to page 9 of Chit Chat and see the pix of my son and I from the day of his HS graduation.

Quote:
It has now been confirmed that Isaiah Washington has been fired from "Grey's Anatomy"!!!

"TMZ has confirmed that Isaiah Washington has been fired from the ABC hit "Grey's Anatomy."
Washington's rep, Howard Bragman, confirmed this evening to TMZ that "Grey's" creator Shonda Rhimes called Isaiah today and told him he would not be invited back to the show next season. TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, who first broke the story, reports that the decision was due only in part to Washington's on-set troubles, and was a result of a "pattern of problematic behavior."
As for how he feels about his termination, Washington issued the following statement: "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."
Paging a mediator, STAT!"

I have now read this info in a few places. Fine by me. I have been reading for about a year that he is a LOT of trouble on the set. You reap what you sew sometimes.

Yeah, I think the man has major anger management issues. He seems like he's always juuuuuuuuuuuuust about to go off, but is trying to hold himself back. Maybe TR will come back for sure now. I certainly hope so. Probably the stress will go down on the set now considerably. I'm sure the rest of the cast was calling for his head.

He must truly be outta control He's on a hit series and getting a steady paycheck and can't seem to keep his shit in check.

Oh! Good! For once the good guy wins! What a switch up! I am curious as to how things go next year with two major players gone.

I hope Addison's new series goes well because that Tim Daley is all kinds of yummy.

I love Tim Daley too! I am looking forward to that show. I really love Kate Walsh and her character.

OK, I haven't watched the latest episode, but I can't believe nobody has commented on the ICKYNESS that is Izzy and George and why they chose to continue with this when the fans have made it known that the thought of these two together romantically completely squicks them out!

I mean, when they had them sleep together, I thought that it would be a one-night-stand, they'd realize they're best friends and they don't want to jeopardize it, and move on. What have they done?

I cannot STAND Izzy now. That whiny obnoxious self-centered baby! What the hell happened to her? What happened to strong Callie? Give her back!

The Derek/Meredith stuff is good. Derek is becoming a grown-up!

Who knew Mark Sloane would become the voice of reason? Once Addison left, he became a whole person.

I'm digging Edward Hermann as the world's oldest intern.

I like that Christine had to eat a little Crow.

I want Izzy back with superhotAlex. He came into her room in a tank top for God's sake!

Private Practice has started to come together for me. I like it. Shoot me.

Yeah, what GE said. Gizzie is vomitously repulsive.

Private Practice is a bit too preposterous to me (smart people in their forties really do not behave that way, however stunted they may be), but I do not find it offensive for the most part. Tim Daley and Kate Walsh could not be less exciting, in my book, but I like all the actors individually well enough, and it leads into Dirty Sexy Money, so I wish it well.

PS I loved Edward Herrmann once he woke up.

I have never watched Grey's. I am a HUGE CSI fan so I would not give that up for any show. My sister was a fan of Grey's but became disgusted with Kathetine Hiegl? sp? I must admit she acted like an ass at the Emmys. But I will say this Tim Daly is HOT!!. so I almost watched PP because of him but I watch enough tv.

Tim Daly in person? WAY hotter and cute and funny and totally the perfect man.

Ergo, I watch PP.

Frazz, you're right. Kate and Tim have no chemistry. The TwoP recapper talked about the hot stuff going on between Dell and Naomi. Now right THERE is some good chemistry. "That boy is baking cakes at me" was pretty cool!

I don't know. I'm continually amazed at supposedly grown-up professionals who could not be more stunted emotionally if they tried. I think, though, they're going for whimsical and quirky, which if they are, they might not be going far enough and may need to take a new tack. I think "Pushing Daisies" has whimsy and quirky all wrapped up there.

I'm really hoping Gizzie dies a very quick death. It's hard to watch. I feel sorry for the recapper who feels the same way.

Well, I still love the show, but I too am disappointed about Gizzie and very disappointed about the direction they have gone with Callie - one of my most faves of the show!! LOVE her. AND I miss Madison. I'm crossing my fingers that the show turns around - but with the strike they aren't even shooting any more episodes so who knows when we will get any satisfaction concerning our fave characters.

Happy to hear such nice things about Tim Daley. He is a cutie, but not enough to get me interested in the show. I tried, not my cuppa.

Callie used to be totally amazing and I think she'd really be helped by the friendship she had with Addison right about now. I'm sure she'd be giving her really good advice.

I really do hope they start listening to the fans, but as you said, FC, with the writer's strike happening, it looks pretty dismal.

I just watched my tape of last Thursday's episode. I hate what is going on with some of the characters. The whole Gizzy thing has become just uncomfortable. What have they done to Callie??? AND I am officially starting to HATE Meredith!! I so loved her in the beginning of this show! LOVED her! She is getting all kinds of annoying Mad But, I really like Lexie and there were some good story lines going on. McSteamy looked freaking amazing!
