| Hmmmmmm............the lead actress at times seems 'wooden', but I'm not sure if, because of what she's gone through or because of what she doesn't understand, that maybe it's part of the role she's playing. I do know what you mean by 'wooden' though. I love this show and I especially like the father and son.......... |

| I'm also looking forward to the new Timothy Hutton series and Eleventh Hour with my Rufus Sewell. The father/son dynamic on Fringe is what many have said keeps them coming back. _________________ I know what I believe. | Walter is just the perfect mad scientist! Joshua is just very nice to look at and plays a great role, but I do wonder if he's real or the result of some experiment. |

| There's also a Christian Slater show that looks interesting. Good to see him when he's not being arrested for something. I think it's called "My Own Worst Enemy" and he's like a family man and a hitman, but I think the family guy isn't aware of the hitman guy. Hold on...I'm gonna try to find it... | Quote: | “MY OWN WORST ENEMY - Henry Spivey (Christian Slater, “Bobby”) is a middle-class efficiency expert living a humdrum life in the suburbs with a wife, two kids, a dog, and a minivan. Edward Albright is an operative who speaks 13 languages, runs a four-minute mile, and is trained to kill with his teeth. Henry and Edward are polar opposites who share only one thing in common -- the same body. When the carefully constructed wall between them breaks down, Henry and Edward are thrust into unfamiliar territory where each man is dangerously out of his element. “My Own Worst Enemy” explores the duality of a man who is literally pitted against himself. And it raises the question: who can you trust when you can't trust yourself? The series is produced by Universal Media Studios. Jason Smilovic (“Kidnapped”) is the executive producer; David Semel (director of the “American Dreams,” “Heroes” and “Life” pilots) is the director and executive producer. |
Frazz, if you want to catch up on "The Mentalist" I believe, because of political debates, it will not be shown for the next two weeks. Only two episodes have aired. I'm curious to find out what you think.

| I am tempted and just might, though it is 11:45 pm...I am addicted to saying up way later than makes any sense at all. I need to wake up at 7:00. If I don't I will soon. |

| Crap! I didn't realize Eleventh Hour premiered on Friday! I guess I'll have to download or watch online. Did anyone watch it? Is Fri night on CBS death time? Moonlight was in the same time slot and they didn't do so well... _________________ I know what I believe. | Off the wall question: NBC shows in general (analog, no cable) have audio that is about half the volume of the commercials and local shows also on NBC. The difference is clear. So it isn't my TV. My TV turned up full volume wakes up the neighborhood on everything except primetime shows (I have not tested daytime). I can't figure out who would be the people to contact about that. Any clues as to where to start? I happened on America's Got Talent, Heroes, and now, ER. |

| It's funny. I was at my mom's yesterday and she wanted me to watch Jay Leno's "Headlines". As you know, Jay is on NBC and I had to crank that puppy WAY up and my mom asked me why it was so low and I explained that every station has their own volume. Like, when she watches "Lifetime" it's REALLY REALLY LOUD. I think they're still claiming that there is no difference between show volume/commercial volume, etc. I went looking for answers on the internet Here's oneApparently there are now TV's and devices to hook up to a TV to stop the difference between the show and the commercial. Here's something. I don't know if it worksDolby is working on somethingI believe they keep trying to pass legislation to stop commercials from being so loud. There's already something on the books. Here's how they get around itSo, this is an age-old problem. The only thing that can happen at this point is a law needs to be passed that they can't make the commercials so loud. Obviously, they need to make it more stringent than the current laws. Obviously, TV advertisers are a big and vocal group with lots of money to try to shut that down. In San Francisco, they're trying to pass a bill _________________ I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe - I believe what I believe is right.

| I also wanted to add that you can watch most shows online legally hereOH! I also watched that "cop goes back to 1973" show. It's called "Life on Mars". Good stuff! I had no idea it was originally a UK show. I'll definitely be watching it. ONE MORE FREAKIN' SHOW to add to the list. The 1973 stuff was great! "I bought my first Hall and Oates album here...I mean..Led Zeppelin!" AWESOME! The 8-track and the shitty TV and the rotary phones. Good stuff. For those who aren't repelled by Televisionwithoutpity, they will be doing recaps. I haven't watched Eleventh Hour, but will watch it tonight and give my review. Also, ELI STONE premieres on Tuesday 10/14! _________________ I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe - I believe what I believe is right.
