People mention that he was good, but I have not found anybody raving about him so far.

Well, maybe the more they see him. I wonder how the ratings are for the show at this point. I know in the past I have not watched until the finals. Not the audition process that they are in right now. Too many bad acts to sit through. Maybe a few more songs and he will blow people away. I hope so anyway.

I hope so. In any case, I hope he gets signed (maybe Sharon Osborne could manage him!) I don't know that he will be one of those arena playing acts ever, but I am still completely awed. I keep going back to watch the video to see if I was in some twilight zone state where i was imagining things. Nope! I think he is really fantastic.

No, it was not you in a twilight state When he finished his song I broke out in spontaneous applause and had tears in my eyes. He had a major effect on me too. You could tell the judges loved him and were very impressed, especially Sharon (I love her BTW. She is a hoot!) Sharon did an incredible job managing Ozzie so I think she would make a great manager for Eli. She already has a good appreciation for him. Nowadays I think fewer and fewer acts can fill stadiums.

I thought he was good, but there's a lot of show left. And even on IDOL, there were people who nailed an audition but never made it past the first round in Hollywood. So we will have to wait and see.

Oh man! That adorable little black boy David at the end of the show had me bawling What a precious little angel!

| I am watching, almost halfway through...nothing so far even remotely interesting tonight. I had high hopes for the painting pig, especially when e got pissed off at Jerry Springer (and, I hope, Piers). I will keep semi-watching..I figure they will actually show an act at some point tonight. ************ I watched until the end. I am usually appalled by little kids, especially ones with sad stories, being put on display. But I was moved, profoundly, by this kid. What was the difference? Something to do with the sound of his voice, combined with the true-ness of how he said (sang) the words. That little being delivered a high level heartbreaking performance. No idea what his future will hold, but that sure was moving.

I wanted to see the boob lady actually doing it..did they show it and I blinked, or did they just cut away to Springer and judges when she was actually doing it?

Just the idea of the boob lady was gross! I wouldn't want to see it! Smashing things with your boobs! Ouch! And man those were some bizarre boobs Other than the 24 year old girl singer with the guitar I didn't see anybody I would care to see again. Those girls who "step" danced or whatever you call it were OK, but I have seen many dance troops do that better. The brother and sister dancers were good, but I have "So You Think I Can Dance" 2 nights a week to watch awesome dancers, so I am not that interested in dancers on this show. The little boy David - I don't know that he has any future in singing. I have certainly heard little kids with much better singing voices (like little Bianca who won a few seasons back who was 11) but there was something so special about his whole being. Just precious beyond words!

I didn't think that blonde country singer they put through was very good. I had to laugh at that potbellied pig that refused to get off the stage and then kept going after Jerry Springer.

I cannot stand Jerry Springer! I wish the pig had sat on him! (yes, I know that is mean, but his show is like the worst thing I have ever seen )

I watched tonight. Got reminded from posting here about the pig that snarled and snorted at Jerry Springer. I LOVED the pig! Nothing really caught my attention tonight so I went back to youtube to watch and listen to Eli again. Yep, still think he is great.

Well, I thought the 44 year old woman who found her daughter through MySpace sang really well. Don't see her as a star, but she was good. I liked the college boys drumming bit. It was entertaining, but again, don't see them going too far. Still, I like things like "Stomp" so I will enjoy seeing what all they can do. Also, I got the biggest kick out of the Ozzie impersonator! What a character! But I agree, so far for me Eli is the stand out. Oh, and there was a heavy set black woman who blew the roof off the place who was really good too. Sorry I do not remember her name.
