FWIW, Jon Voight has said his estrangement from his children started when he had an affair which resulted in the end of his marriage to their mother. He says it was the biggest mistake of his life.

Speaking of adoptions, has anyone seen that HBO documentary about the epidemic of child kidnappings in China?

THe woman he had an affair with was 18 and a student of his. And then he cheated on HER with most of the women I knew who were into that sort of thing. He hit on me but I fled. He did fuck Elvira (Cassandra Peterson) during that time, as well as about 6 other women I know.

All the while he presented himself as the poor suffering saitly martyr, just as he does now.

Biggest mistake of his life? I think he has made many more, including his insane rant about how socialists are taking over the children of American, and Obama is the leader of that.

Some mindless celeb sightings:

Saw Jay Leno from about 3 feet away on the sidewalk interviewing young hotties for the segment of his show where he asks them something like how many states does the US have and they answer wrongly.

He actually looked a thousand times better than he does on TV or even in person from the studio audience (yes, I did go to the Constantine show).

I actua;ly was amazed since he is very unattractive to me on screen.

APLA (my work) had a fundraiser the other night which was a Comedy Strip show with 100 dancers, Bruce Vilanch and Leslie Jordan (the tiny little guy from Will & Grace).

They were all delightful humans. The mikes were very screwed up so the spoken part of the show was a disaster, but they all handled it with grace and humor, anyway.

Among the dancers were Sideswipe from America's got talent.

Lemme tell ya, seeing them up close on a stage WAY too small and dangerous to do group acrobatics...they were amazing. Breath taking.

Didn't Sideswipe win the first season of America's Best Dance Crew?

I went to a taping of Jay's show one time and, something that's unheard of, he does the audience warm-up. He was kind and gracious. The nice guy everyone says he is. I found him much more attractive than on TV.

Badger, I have never heard of that show. I remember them only from some previous America's Got Talent.

America's Best Dance Crew is an MTV show that Randy Jackson produces. Basically, it's So You Think You Can Dance but with dance troupes instead of individuals or couples.

OMG! You guys, I was watching "Chelsea Lately" and Candis Cayne from "Dirty Sexy Money" was on and Chelsea says, "I heard you had a funny run-in with a fan of the show..."

Then Candis starts the story "I was shopping in Whole Foods..."

I'm thinking "OMG! She's gonna tell the frazz story!!!!!" SHE DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to watch, ffwd to around 4:20. Check out Chelsea's face after she tells the story. Awesome!

Of course, I immediately called frazz who, thank God, keeps my insomnia hours and her laugh was so contagious, I think we were on the phone for 20 minutes and just giggled the entire time.

Candis on Chelsea Lately

I am convulsive with giggling.

But I do have a little caveat..people tell stories on TV to emphasize a point of view.

In truth I did not run up to her, exactly. I was standing next to her looking as we both examined yogurt. And I looked over and recognized her.

And I said many words of specific praise for her work on DSm before my uncontrollable subconscious gremlin came out and said "I wanna fuck Donald Sutherland".

I hope she now credits me with giving her a story to tell in interviews.

HE HA< BWA< HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Damn, GE and I just giggled non-stop.

So I just sent her a heartfelt private message on her myspace (she mentioned reading her myspace herself) saying i was the Whole Foods lady, and I told her again what a genuine fan I am, and did a version of explaining how Donald Sutherland came to be put out there (Klute.).
