| Thanks ladies!! They really are so pretty in person because they are all Swarovski Crystals which have such nice sparkle. I must admit I am really proud of myself. When things settle down with my dad I think I will try making a double strand bracelet and see how that goes. | |

| FC those are gorgeous! You inspired me. You know I compete in sheep dog trials , Well anyway the dogs are commanded by whistles. A friend of mine made me a gorgeous lanyard for my whistle. My dog jumped on my lap and caught my laynrad and the beads scattered everywhere. I was sad. But I thought about you making jewelry so I went and bought the beads and stuff. So I made two pretty lanyards and two bracelets! It is fun. I made one pink and white lanyrad in honor of my dog Halle because she is a princess. Are the earrings hard? | |

| Very cool Aerwin! I am so glad I inspired you!! I bet your work is beautiful!! Yes, it IS fun and really easy. I can do an earring and bracelet set in about 30 mins. Sometimes less. The earrings are easy!
First, pick out the earring hooks you like best. Take one of the straight pin looking wires. Add your beads. Trim off excess leaving about 1/4 inch. Take your curling wire tool and make a loop almost all the way around. Put your loop thru the circle on the bottom of your earring hook. Tightly close the loop you made. I have made about 25 pair of earrings so far.
I love doing this so much that I get frustrated when I am out of beads and can't make anymore stuff!! I am hitting Hobby Lobby tomorrow for more beads and earring hooks.
I am going to try to make a multi- strand bracelet soon. I have been so busy with the daycare and doing things for my folks, that I have not had the chance to tackle that.

| Thanks Aerwin! The Swarovski crystals (both the clear and the clear AB) sparkle like diamonds! I wish I could show that in the pix. When I walk with those ankle bracelets on it looks like I have a tow of diamonds on my ankle!! Best anklets ever! I am thrilled with them!! The braclet that is gold beads with the Swarovski AB's looks like diamonds when I move my arm in a room with lights or outside in the sun. Just beautiful! Swarovski crystals make you feel like a princess. They are sooooo worth the extra dollars over other beads. Good luck with your new jewelry making! Be sure and tell me all about it when you are done and post pix if you can. I would LOVE to see your creations!! | |

| Thanks ladies! Luca, those beads are so pretty in person. I got those on clearance at Wal-mart along with the pretty flowered beads I used on the red and green jewelry. I don't know the brand name. It wasn't Lampworks - which are the prettiest flowered beads ever! Wal-mart does not have a great bead selection. They have great spacer beads and hooks etc., but they don't sell many pretty beads. If you like beads like the blue ones go to Hobby Lobby. They have lots of nice beads. I will get more beads like the Lampworks beads as soon as I have made pieces with all the colors of the Swarovski crystals. They sparkle like crazy and I love them!! I have some left over beads and I am going to try and make Pullip jewelry soon. Here is a site that sells Lampwork beads. They are truly works of art! Some are just breathtaking. I saw one that was glass with a rose inside - $29 PER bead!! Guess I won't be making any bracelets with that one! But man, they have some gorgeous stuff! http://www.austinhamilton.ca/en/index.shtml?googleadword2&gclid=CI7y2tiTnYwCFQlQWAod-TmF6w | |

| I've been at it again this week! This is called a bridal bracelet. I added the bride and groom charm as well as the crystal charm In person this is so gorgeous! It is my fave. Besides Swarovski crystals, I also used the Swarovski rhinestone and silver rondelles and they all sparkle like made! My pink for breast cancer awarness. Topaz, cyrstal and gold spacers. This is super pretty in person! Now I have ankle bracelets in all my fave colors! I just notcied you can see my painted big toe in the bottom of the pic BTW, I of course made earrings to match all the bracelets I have become the mad jewelry maker My mom said yesterday she really thinks I should go into selling it. I doubt I would ever do that. I do love the actual making of the pieces though. Almost as much as wearing them! | |

| My toe thanks you for the love!
The jewelry is so much prettier in person. The crystals just sparkle so much, which I cannot seem to capture with my camera. Maybe someday I will try to sell some. Right now I am making crystal necklaces for my dolls!

| I don't know if this will work for the photos, but you could try shining a flashlight through them (from the side, off camera) to see if the sparkly-ness becomes more apparent. | |

| Aerwin, I know I have seen letter beads at some craft stores, but I honestly do not know how good the quality is. My best bet would be to try ebay or look on-line for bead sellers, especially ones that sell to people at wholesale prices. When I get time I will look around the net and see what I can find. I do know that I got great deals on Swarovski crystals on ebay - much better prices than at the local shops.
Good luck! I am sure they will be beautiful!
