| Oh, Chloe was beautiful!! I am a dog lover too. I miss having a dog but not enough to get another one. It was so hard losing our last one. I have a friend that has 3 Saint Bernard's and they are gorgeous! I go over there for a 'doggie fix' every once in a while! | |

| I also don't have dogs, but with my dogsitting, I get my fix. The other night my friend's friend brought her pomeranian to karaoke (it was outdoors - she was in a bag). It was one of those bigger poms and blond. Guess who's lap the dog wound up sitting on all night? I got this total zen look on my face. She couldn't believe I didn't have a dog of my own, but I can't. Besides, I get to be like grandma. I go and spend time with them and then leave the owners for all the real work! HA! | |

| I can't have dogs because of my daycare. It's bad to have dogs or cats for small children with asthma, also because of allergies. I get my dog fix from neighbors, friends and relatives. Though I do get bummed that we can't have our own. I am very allergic to cats, so is my youngest, but I find myself really wanting one. I never cared about them when I was younger, but for some reason as I got older I find myself really wishing I could have one. I have no idea why that is | |

| I've seen that one..........very funny! We have just always had dogs, but I just don't want to worry about what we would do with one if we go anywhere. Our last dog hated to be boarded, he hated the Vet's office too. He was quite a character. We now have 3 neighbor cats that come over almost every morning to say "Hi". They also sleep on one of our deck chairs. We can't have any cats or dogs, the grandkids are allergic to them. | |

| Hey all Creature lovers unite!!!! I love all your beautiful creatures Aerwin! That photo of Halle with her crown on is priceless! She looks very proud! Would love to hear more about the competition she won. Is Marshall a Great Pyranees? They are the sweetest natured dogs! Sounds like they will be coming to check us out for Robbie! He was one of the people who is involved with the rescue operation's Dad's dog who recently passed away. He is quite special they say...and they will go as far as they need to to find the perfect home for him! My husband is going to be going to Home depot today to buy some vinyl fencing to rebuild the dog run we took down when our girl passed away... I am so excited! This is Robbie! Keep your fingers crossed everyone! I think we have an excellent chance at getting him! Although the gal that called me said they went all the way up to Canada to check out a home and it did'nt pan out for some reason.... | |

| OMG! Robbie is sooooo cute! I'm sure they'll totally love you!
Robbie looks a lot like this Miniature Pinscher I'm sitting for. Same coloring.
Hysterical that Lambie Pie is actually a lamb.
Luca, please let us know what happens with Robbie!

| Oh Luca!! He is beyond adorable!!!!!! You must get him!!! You WILL get him!! I can feel it! You are wonderful people, with a beautiful home and grounds! How could they not think you would be perfect parents?!! Are you going to keep the name Robbie? I am asking because that is my hubby's name That would be too cute!! One of my daycare boys just got a new puppy (a Goldendoodle) and named him Rocket Donald - which thrilled me because my Dad's name is Donald! | |

| Well of course lambie pie is a lamb , what else would she be? I have 15 sheep in all. Yes Marshall is Great pyrenesse and yes they do have wonderful temperments. But he is the law in my pasture. He has killed one coyote and two foxes, that otherwise would have killed my sheep. He is also gorgeous. I compete in sheep dog trials . Here is a pic of Halle working the sheep. Robbie is a cutie! I'm sure you will qualify.

| GE: Thanks! I hope you are right about them loving us..enough to let us have Robbie anyway! He looks like a character does'nt he? He does have minpin coloring/markings! I can't tell if he is chocolate or black and tan from the photos...I love both so will be cool to find out. Aerwin: Wow! That is so cool you do sheep dog trials! That looks like a kick in the pants! Your property is gorgeous. I think that is great that Marshall keeps predators under control! Dogs and horses love having a job don't they? I bet Halle would do a great job herding my horses around, my rott gives it her best, but they ignore her most of the time! FC: I think we will keep the name if he responds to it. He is 1 1/2 years old- so it will be hard to change it now and make it stick. I do have a good feeling about Robbie. He just looks like Mr. Personality! His spirit just jumped out and grabbed me and made me try to get him. So far, it looks like there may be a very good chance. The foster parent has to evaluate my written application now. Hopefully, nothing I wrote will disqualify us. They specifically want a no cats, no kids home with a place for him to get excercise. He will have a fenced, small dog run with doggy door from our bedroom to outside to go to the bathroom. Our front yard is fully landscaped, but not fenced. He could play out there with supervision, and eventually we will finish landscaping our back yard and will put a small fence around it to keep him in if it works out. I hope they don't drag this out to much.... | |

| Luca, Robbie is so cute! Best of luck with this - hope it works out for all of you. And your Chloe was so gentle looking. Aerwin, you have quite a family there - and a lamb, too. Terrific. I'm also a dog lover. This is my "little" Emma. She's 10 years old. | |

| Aerwin, it's so funny because you obviously live on this farm in a place where coyotes are expected and you take precautions.
The problem with living in L.A. is that we keep building these beautiful homes into mountains, thus invading their territory. So, not more than 10 minutes away from me (I live in the suburbs of L.A.), as you're driving down a normal paved road, and there's rattle snake warnings, bears doing the back stroke in swimming pools and coyotes gobbling up little dogs. Really weird.
Good Lord, Luca! You could have probably gone to the pound and experienced a lot less anxiety!

| Emma's a Labrador Retriever. She's considered a yellow part of the breed, but she has the eyes and nose coloring of a chocolate lab.
I don't have children, she's all I've got for my immediate family!
If you can get a pic of the tortoise, aerwin, that would be fun to see.

| Lau: Thanks! I hope I get him too...you never know with these adoption things though. Someone can step up that is local or a relative and that ends it right there. Your Emma is such a lovely girl! I have a soft spot for yellow labs.
I hear ya GE! If this does'nt work out with Robbie, I will just go to the pound. They had mainly bigger dogs at my local agency right now. You have to fill out an application there too, but I'm sure if you have the $90.00 or whatever they are'nt going to turn you away unless it is so obvious you don't have the right facility for a certain dog.
Yes, Aerwin show us your tortoise! This is the one that was lost was'nt it?
