Dancing with the Stars

I have been watching this (yes it was the prospect of watching Heather Mills's leg fly off that got me started).

It does make me want to find a way to convince myself to take a dance class (and stick with it).

This is the first year that I have watched from the beginning. Also because I just had to see how Heather would do. I have been very impressed with her both as a dancer and she seems like a pretty nice lady. Nothing like the UK press has portrayed her.

So far the right couples have left. I just love Apolo, Joey, Ian and Billy Ray because he tries so darn hard. Watching him counting while dancing was so cute the other night! They really put together a good cast this year. It will be hard to watch some of them go

I wanted Paulina (the 80s model) to stay because she was funny and graceful. I just liked her. But she got the boot first.

Other than her, I don't really have a fave.

Oh I like Paulina the person. I didn't think the dancing was as good as others. She is a lovely person though and she seemed really loved by her fellow contestants.

Laila is my fave of the celebs as a dancer. I just love watching her.

As personalities I like her, John Ratzenberger (sp?) and Apolo.

Laila is sooo gorgeous it is unbelievable! I can't believe that deep voice comes out of that beautiful face!!

This is my first season watching this show (other than the finals of last season). I did not want Paulina to go. She was so classy and funny. I loved her self-deprecating humor. How could you not love someone who looks like her and married Rik Ocasek and had kids with him?

I know I've been waiting for the leg to fly off too. She's done amazingly well. Back walk-over?

Anton is absolutely adorable. He and has partner have such chemistry; it seems like they should be dating.

Billy Ray is very cute and funny. My daughter was excited because she watches him on Hannah Montana.

This is my first season watching this show also and so far it seems to be a really fun show. My mom is even watching it now. Last week, she called to verify the phone number so she could vote and she has NEVER done anything like that before.

Apolo is a hometown boy and I'm rooting for him. He's also a very competitive cutie. Joey from INXS and Laila Ali are also on my list of favorites. I can't believe how Heather can move on that prosthetic leg! I think her partner deserves a lot of credit for creating the choreography that makes it all work for them. Billy Ray is trying so hard and I hope he stays on the show for awhile. The look on his face when it is announced that he isn't one of the ones going home is hilarious.

Yes, Joey is from N'SYNC. Oh, now if they want sombody from INXS wouldn't it be great to watch JD Tango with some gorgeous dancer??!! My voting fingers would get a workout!!

JD would be amazing on that show. He moves SO well. But he'd never do it.

INXS was here last year, but I just couldn't do the $75 and not be sure of being up close.

A lot of times, depending on the venue, you can sneak up front.........

Not that I ever had the chance the two times I've seen them. Oh but to meet them or actually talk to them..............it happens all the time....to other people. You just have to be out back the venue when they are leaving...or know which hotel they are staying in....they are usually in the bar after the show...........

I wish.........they have no concerts scheduled here or anywhere in North America or Canada. Some of my friends who I have met online have had some great encounters!

A lot depends on the venue I guess, but I have to tell you, when I pay for up front, anybody trying to stand in front of me is in for a battle. I may not be 19 anymore but I can hold my ground with the best of them. At one of the Rockstar Supernova concerts I attended I watched a woman who had pushed her way to the front ejected. Security was very good. And she was the same woman I had seen at yet another RSSN concert doing the same thing and they got her there as well. I think in that case it was because most of the front rows were purchased as part of expensive packages offered by the fan club so people were really up in arms about it. She was over six feet tall and I am short. Had she stood in front of me I would have seen nothing at all because I had floor seats and there was no incline to compensate for height differences. So I was quite pleased that they escorted her out. Guess that makes me an old bitch but I don't care.

And yes I would love to see JD on DWTS. But he will never do it. But hey if he does, I will be glued to my TV. That boy can move.

I know what you mean Muse. It would suck to pay big money for great seats and have a tall person who didn't pay mess the night up for you. I am only 5'2" and have had to do the back and forth side to side dance just to see the stage. Oh to be Stacy Keibler when at concerts! (or anytime really)

The only concert I moved up front for was Faces. After they performed about two hours, Rod tells everyone to come up front to the stage. He got out all these bottles of booze and was handing out drinks to everyone. I was only 15 and my folks were waiting outside to pick up me and my friends so we didn't take any, but it was very exciting to go from far back cheap seats and get a glimpse of the good life of front row! I learned my lesson from that and paid more to be 10th row for Jefferson Airplane. HAD to see Gracie upclose! She was gorgeous!

Back to DWTS - Does anyone besides me hope Apolo and his partner fall in love?? Could they look more perfect together and possible have more chemistry? I know I shouldn't be a shipper, but damn they are adorable!

Hi fc, I agree that Apolo and Julianne look great together. The only barrier to anything more than that is that she is engaged! Too bad, isn't it?

Add me to the list of one who would like to see JD on DWTS. I think it would also be great publicity for INXS since he is the frontman that everyone now associates with the group. Wishful thinking, but you never know.....

Hi Janice! Well - she's not married yet! Just kidding. Oh well. See I don't know all that much about the pros. I should read their bios at the DWTS site. I didn't realize she was engaged. She's such a little doll though I am not surprised some guy scooped her up!

I read yesterday that Apolo was seen leaving a club with a dancer, HOWEVER, it was a dancer from season one of Dancing with the Stars. And she a lot taller than he is! I can't find the article now.

I didn't watch the first season! Wonder who it was???

I tried to google it to find it, but I'm not getting it. It was on some dopey gossip site. She wasn't a celebrity, but one of the professional dancers.

It was Stacy Keibler. It's kind of humorous because she is so tall and towers over him. It's a TMZ clip.

A fan who has been following Apolo through his short track career has maintained a website for several years of his competitions, projects, appearances, other short track news, etc. That's where I'm getting this info.

Wasn't Stacy season two? I really thought she was season two because I remember her and I didn't watch any of season one. Oh well. She is on What About Brian and she is GORGEOUS! Talk about legs (take that Haley) Anyway, last I heard she was dating that equally gorgeous guy from 7th Heaven. Maybe they broke up. Yeah, she would tower over Apolo. I think she towers over most guys but I bet they are cute together.

You know Cheryl is dating Joey Lawrence's little brother! They are super cute together.
