So You Thnk You Can Dance!

Honestly, I LOVE Mark! I think he is insanely expressive with his characters in the dances and so fun in his rehearsal clips! He has been a fave of mine all season! I would love to see him win it all - but I know he won't. Frankly, I will be thrilled with Mark, Katee, or Josh winning! The other 3 are not my very faves - but I wouldn't be very disappointed if Courtney or Chelsie won. They are so talented. Twitch winning would bother me a little simply because it would be based on his winning personality and not his over all dance ability. I think he really only shines in his own genre. But, this contest is for the title of "America's Favorite Dancer" not "America's Best Dancer", so I guess if he is the fave than that is cool.

Same here. I really thought that Mark would best Twitch and I thought Chelsie would squeak by Courtney. I think that a lot of young people do the voting for this show and I think they are very attracted to the Hip Hop dancers. I will admit I enjoy the Hip Hop and Krump routines, but I do appreciate the more well rounded dancers - especially the contemporary dancers. Mia Michaels is my fave choreographer.

Two dancers in the Top 4 of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance collapsed at rehearsals Saturday and had to be rushed by ambulance to nearby Cedars Sinai Hospital–just days before the reality series season finale.

“Two went in [Saturday] and so there was no more rehearsals, and today [Sunday] all the rehearsals were called off,” ballroom expert and SYTYCD judge Mary Murphy confirmed to PEOPLE at Fox’s 2008 Teen Choice Awards in L.A. on Sunday. “The kids are completely dehydrated – two of them. I’m sure they’re doing a lot of blood work to see if there’s anything else.”

A source close to the show said that the two dancers are out of the hospital, doing better and will return to rehearsals Monday. Reps for Fox had no comment and did not release the identities of the two dancers.

Stephen ‘Twitch’ Boss, Katee Shean, Courtney Galiano and Joshua Allen are the four remaining dancers in the competition.

Murphy went on to explain that in all fairness, “the other two [dancers] could not rehearse as well, and so hopefully everybody is going to be in the same boat…hopefully everybody will be refreshed by having a full day off.”

Leading up to the finale, the dancers have been putting in 10 to 12 hour rehearsals a day, because “they want it so bad,” says Murphy, adding “so, they keep pushing themselves and pushing themselves and not letting anybody know that, ‘Hey, I’m running on empty,’ and then it catches up on them and then they collapse.”

The live finale airs Thursday on FOX (8 p.m. ET) and will feature a special performance by the Jonas Brothers. –Jed Dreben

Hmmmm....just on silly board level, who do you think overdid it?

I only guess Twitch and Courtney because I think they are lesser (though still pretty fabulous), but who knows.

It was the two guys - Twitch and Josh. I have noticed that at the end of the routines poor Josh is sweating like Ruben used to. I think it is all the lifts they put in his routines. They have the top 4 doing several numbers for Thursday's finale and I think they just work these kids to the bone!

If it really is the two guys, that might well mean they are expecting even more insane things from the men than the women.

Not my guess. That was the report at a few different sites on the internet. I think it could be all the lifting of the girls and the fact that neither of the guys are trained dancers. Just street hip hop dancers. I am sure they have never had any reason to work their butts off like this before!

No wonder Nigel admires Josh for being so strong and able to do those lifts! THIS is funny stuff!

I am SO UPSET!!!

Tomorrow is the BIG GRAND FINALE and our stupid Fox Station is showing a Chicago Bears PRE-SEASON game! Pre-Season Game??!! They are pointless and WHO CARES! How can they preempt the grand finale of a competition show that people have watched 3 hours a week for months for a stupid pre-season game??!! They will run it around mid-night or later. I can tape it, but it will not be the same as seeing it live, especially since I will know the winner ahead of time since there is no way I will be able to stay unspoiled until Friday morning.

Oh well. What can you do. Maybe the Bears and FOX have some contract and FOX has to show the game.

Tonight's show has been great so far! All 4 are wonderful entertainers and artists and super fun and sweet kids! I am leaning toward wanting Katee to win. Twitch was so delightful in his one-on-one interview with Cat. I think he has a huge shot at winning this thing. I think he has really touched people.

I am watching now, about 30 minutes in. Josh and Katee just di a wonderful and strange (in a good way, for my taste) kind of floppy thing...ok can''t describe it bu I really like it. Josh does seem completely worn out, though.

I didn't vote. I like them all! I think Katee is the best at details and technically best in all styles, but they all are such great entertainers and damn they worked their butts off! So I will be happy for any of them. I really wanted Mark in the top 4 over Twitch, but Twitch showed a lot of the stuff he is made of tonight. I can really see why he is so loved. So if he wins - that's cool. I won't be sad any which way it goes. Well, I'll be a little sad for the ones who don't win because it is must be so hard to work like crazy for your dream to come true and to come so close and just miss winning. But I am sure all of these 4 will find work in the field of dance and that is probably all they reall want. Though I am sure the $$$$$ would make them happy too!

Wait until you see the Mia Michael's number the 4 do at the end! Usually I adore Mia's routines, but this one is, well, I can't wait to hear what you think of it. At The Clack House they are calling it "Mia's Mess"

I thought Twitch was FABULOUSA tonight. I agree, with you about him not really being fully up there before, but boy was he tonight! Josh's leaps make my heart soar. Josh and Katee are just fabulous together. Courtney brings it in the man/woman low life fights.

I really do think they are all quite wonderful

I kind of enjoyed the Scottish thing, puzzling though it was.

I will cheer for them all, regardless of who wins, but my heart still goes to Josh and Katee equally, then Twitch, and then Courtney.

Yeah, I couldn't exactly figure out what they were suppose to be or the story. Mia's routines always tell a story. I thought the costumes were rather unattractive - especially for the guys. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when these two strapping hip-hop guys were shown those costumes to wear! I bet they made some pretty funny comments

I am so going to miss this show after tonight What a wonderful season of talent, art and beauty! They all sure helped get me through a sad summer.

EEEK!!! I am so happy! I just checked the on-line TV listings because I wanted to see how long the finale was tonight, so I would set my recorder for long enough, and while at the site I found out that even though the Chicago FOX station isn't showing SYTYCD live because of the football game, the Rockford, Illinois FOX station is!! We get that station with our basic cable! So that means I should be able to see the finale live after all! I just pray that the on-line site is correct! I so want to watch the show live!

Huh! I have always had my own peculiar dance style...I never thought anybody else did it or that it had a name: turns out I am a POPPER!!

They had two guys on tonight doing a battle of the poppers. The one that one does the kind of stuff I used to do won. Now I do geriatric popping.

I just watched Will and Katee do their incredibly beautiful dance to Imagine, and (swallowing some decomposing crow here) I think David Archuletta's version of the song was the right one for this dance.

It might have been depressing if it was to a real version of imagine.

So David Archuletta does have some value.

WOW! Lithgoe just danced with Debbie Allen's kid troupe.

I think that is why this show is so good.; The judges are either dancers past their prime or choreopgraphers There are no producers or celebrities who got there for no reason.

They all love dance and love dancers and really want them to be great.

There is none of the sadism of American Idol or America's got talent.

I never had a take on Lithgoe before, but now I really appreciate him now, and am glad he extricated himself from the cesspool behind the scenes of American Idol.

And when they do group numbers on this show, it is GREAT! Because dancing in a group or a duo is part of the art! Not some pointless cheesy add-on.

My highest praise is that I would go, over and over to dance concerts if there were a group of this top four plus about 4 more.

This is the only contest show I have ever seen where when the losers gush about how grateful they are to have participated, I believe them.

I thought the show was great! I do wish Katee had won. I truly thought she was amazing the entire season. I was happy she won the $50,000 though! What a surprise!

I am glad that Josh won over Twitch, but I do feel sorry for Twitch. The runner up just kind of gets pushed off the stage and doesn't get the little recap video and a proper good-bye.

I really enjoyed all the wonderful routines - especially Wade's rabbit number! What a brilliant and creative mind he has!

It was fun seeing Mary and Nigel dance. Mary has great legs!

Robert the popper is MAD talented and just a blast to watch! He is in a commercial now. I sure hope we get to see more of him.

It was great seeing some of the past contestants and seeing what is up with them. I always love seeing Benji! He is just awesome in every way!

I can't believe you can Pop! I would break something for sure if I even tried

Anyway, I will miss all those kids! Hope they all have much success and happiness!

Can you imagine a dance company with this season's dancers? Bliss.



I think I was built to be a creature with no vertabrae.

unfortunately I have one...I mean all of them, so damage was done.

But that realy IS how I dance, intuitively. Robert is brilliant.

Katee is brilliant.

For reasons my mind can never explain, when Josh does his best stuff, like the flying spit leaps, I am overtaken. Completely. like Barishnykov. I love to see humans flying.
