| Thanks!! I also think she has that BJD face and eyes! I love looking at her! I think for now I am going to collect these dolls for awhile - only not nude. Her stock is to die for and yes, the boots are very nice and she comes with sunglasses (much nicer than Barbie sunglasses). I feel like her stock was a big reason for her price. I won't pay the $150 (with shipping) for a J-Doll like the one Madison is selling, but I will pay the $88 with shipping from Scot at VOTD. I have a few more of them on my wish-list. I think the J-Doll wigs are better quality. Anisa's wig is soft, shiny and wonderful. Claire's is not quite as soft, but still very nice. I will not be changing either of their wigs. I think I will wait until next Xmas for a BJD. Between Taeyangs and the J-Dolls and all the wigs and clothes, I have really gone nuts this year with the dolls. The Visa and Pay-Pal bills came today also - and hubby is not amused I don't think he thinks my hobby is cute today . But, he never stays upset with me for more than about a minute, but I do feel a little guilty Didi's pic is on Flickr. I found it today when I saw her new pic of the stick marker for her little hamster that passed away. It seems she sucked out her eyechips. She will be getting new chips at some point. Since their eyes change colors I am not sure why the change. You know what, I have tried to like Blythes because I know she loves them, and I do think the outfits for the bowling one are adorable, but I still find them butt ugly dolls. I can't help it, I just do. There are not a lot of dolls I don't like either. I see dolls I love all the time. I just cannot find the appeal of Blythes, and some of them are $285! | |

| Just talked to Didi. The pull string eyes the Blythes come with work like this: Blue/green side to side, orange/pink when looking forward. She doesn't like the orange when looking forward. You heat a hot glue gun stick and adhere it on the eye-chip. Let it harden and then yank them out! Oh, if only it were that easy with the Pullips/Taeyangs! Clay could get his green eyes! | |

| Hey that is cool! That is one good thing about Blythes I guess...other than that, I just don't get it either! I am really impressed with all the cool details about Claire's outfit! The belt, necklace, coat buttons, boots, patches on the pants etc! I think you are smart to start getting them with the stock outfits. They are so worth it! I finally got the activation message that I responded to at DOA! Can you believe it has taken like 4-5 bloody days? They tried to act like there was a problem on my end...ummmm nooooo I don't stink so! What kind of idiots are they anyway!!!! How long does it take after that to look at the bloody photoshoots! I am just about on my last nerve with that place! And another thing that is bugging me big time, Ok Denver dolls has been nice and patient explaining how the face-up of the pet cannot be used toward the 400.00 and that was what everyone else was saying too...now today on DOA some of the other vendors are saying you can count the face-up of the pet in the 400.00! What a confusing mess! I still have not received a final total yet...I may just blow the entire deal off and just chill out for a while. Somehow I am getting a bad omen about this. Maybe I should hold out and the perfect boy will appear just like Prudence did, but not now. My hubby is going to shit when he finds out I am getting another doll...if I do! I was going to try to sell a bunch of stuff to cover most of the installments so he would'nt realize how much I was spending. Maybe this confusion and weirdness is happening for a reason...and the reason is I am spending too much money and need to stop too! I love the doll and the pet and the most of the extras, but I don't think 400.00 worth! I think it would be best to buy another used one for a somewhat discounted price if the right one materializes. I think I may be on the way to talking myself out of it. I really do want an older looking boy for Prudence. I should hold out for what I really want, even though I know Ray would have been really fun to have too. On a good note... I got Pru's wig today! It is so cute and makes her look so different! It has a lot of pink in it which is great and bangs! She looks more Asian for some reason, but much more modern! It will be fun to style her like that! The wig was so tight though, I had to cut a tiny slit in the back of the cap! The JPOP wig caps are not as stretchy as the Monique gold's. | |

| I am so glad you got the wig today too! I bet Pru looks fantastic! I cannot wait to see her!! I was able to see all the photos in the gallery today, if that is what you mean. I don't think we will be able to see anything for sale though anytime soon. Glad they got you in. I think for me I will just be looking at the pix. I don't really have much to say since I do not even have a BJD! I am sorry things have happened to mess up your purchase of Ray. Maybe it is some sort of omen or something. The dolls are wonderful and beautiful, but crazy expensive. Hubby just cannot believe that I paid $100 for Claire. He thinks she is pretty but looks at me like "they saw you coming"! I agree about getting them in stock. I will for sure get all the rest of the J-Dolls I buy in stock. Maybe some day I will get Anisa's stock for her. I think getting used BJDs is the way to go if possible. That is probably what I will do when I do get one. Or at least some kind of real good deal. I really don't know how some of those people can have so many BJDs! And such expensive ones!! They must make a lot more money then we do! If you think your hubby will be upset then it might be best to wait. Rob is already over it, he never stays mad, but I think he has figured out I have lost it! Besides, we do have a lot of expenses coming up with the holidays and more college expenses. I need to think about those things. Whatever happens with Ray, at least you have Prudence and that is something to be so thankful more! And, you will get your boy someday - be it Ray or someone even better! | |

| Yes, sometimes the finding a good deal takes over in me and I need to stop acting on it all the time with the doll stuff. I certainly am glad I did with Prudence...It was a good, not great deal, but a very satisfying way to get my feet wet with BJD's! And when I sold Elektra, it all seemed to fall into place. Those are the deals that make you feel good about it. And I got lucky and found a good quality doll that I am truely happy with. My husband is like yours, he does'nt stay mad for long. But, with our trip and everything...I have no business going off the deep end like that. And maybe in the future.. I will find the right one at the right price! The pet is adorable and I think that sucked me in as much as Ray. But, in reality I doubt I would photograph the pet as much as I would a regular doll. Someone thinks this looks like Tom Kaulitz over there WTF? | |

| Tom?? Well, he has dreads He is a pretty boy though. For me it is the deals! I guess that is why I grab the nudes. When I was able to get Lead for only $46 total with the purchase of Butler - well, I just had to get him. Same with the chance to check out the J-Dolls for $50 total. I'm all about the deals. I guess that is why the Claire purchase got to me so. I knew I had to grab her when I did since she is impossible to find, but I hated that I had to pay that much for her. I'm past that now. What is done is done. I love her. I just don't love what I paid for her Gotta run - more later! | |

| I just realized I said "with Butler" I meant with Missionary! Another blonde moment I got Butler's clothes not Butler. Yes, it is important in life to have hobbies and to have things that make you happy. It just feels extra good when you get things at a good price. I am the same way about shoes, purses, clothes, things for the house. Anything! Have to have that great deal!! Yes, there really are gorgeous dolls out there in the world that will never be here in my house I think I would be happy if there were stores out here that had them so that I could just go and look at them! Didi got to see and hold some at a store by her.. I have never even had the pleasure of seeing a BJD in person! Oh the humanity!! | |

| No, I do not have the coat yet. He is wearing a vest I got off ebay and the military shirt from that German outfit. I just couldn't wait to see him in his new hair!! In the last pic you can see my little Isabelle on the couch. She was watching me change his hair and take pix. She is such a cutie even though she is trouble with a capital T I am glad you think he looks good. I love the color too. I wanted to keep him blonde for now. I may get him a different color some day, especially something with some purple in it, but for now this is good. It is a style I love and the price was right! | |

| OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pru looks FREAKING GORGEOUS in that wig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am seriously green with envy right now!! I WANT HER!!! I love ALL of them! If I had to pick one I would go with the first one because you can see her beautiful face the best in that one. Second choice would be number three. She has a great profile. Third choice is number 5 with the flower simply because it is just a lovely picture! No wonder you love her so! She is just so special! Her face up is so simply and innocent, and yet stunning. That wig just really brings it all out so much more than the other (even though that is a great wig too). Makes me want to get a wig like that for one of my girls. BUT, I have put myself on a doll spending freeze What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right? Not sure I will live thru this though Need to get ready for bed now - it is Halloween Eve! Rob and I are going out for a "day date" tomorrow as he and I are both off. We will be back by 3:30 for the little goblins!! Sadly Eric has to work tomorrow after school. Last year he and a bunch of friends went to the local cemetary for a scary party. Justin might go this year though. What fun! Good night! Sleep well! | |

| Thanks so much my laydee for the excellent feedback! I can always count on you to steer me in the right direction! I am leaning towards number 5 with the flower, but I really am having a hard time choosing!
You are right though...this wig just brings out something extra special and unique about Pru....I can't take my eyes off her! I changed her into her pink pajama outfit and she looks adorable! You must get one of these wigs though if they come up on sale again...they are really good for the delicate girls like Philana...it would look really great on her!
Happy Halloween Evelaydee!

| Good morning and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween!
Thanks for the link! Very cool indeed!
Number 5 will be a great choice to add to the pix at DOA!
Yes, I was thinking of Philana while looking at your pix. I would love to get her one with purple stands to go with her eyes.
I just got a PM from Didi tempting me with pix of Dals!! I do think I will eventually get a couple of them. I think Pullips, Taeyangs, Dals and J-Dolls make a nice variety!
I get emails about Barbie clothes from ebay. I just found out that those outfits I like so much in the cool boxes are "Fashion Ave. Boutique" that were exclusives from Toys-R-Us. I now have 2 of them. The ones emailed to me today are amazing! Some international ones. Sadly I know they will get too expensive when the bidding is done, but I am going to watch them just to see how high they go!
Well, hubby just brought me breakfast in bed! So I'm gonna go for now!
Later~ | |

| You lucky dog getting breakfast in bed by hubby! Sounds like a romantic way to start your morning! hehheh! Hope you had a wonderful day and get lots of adorable treat or treaters! We don't get any since we are off the beaten path. But, a gal I work with brought her baby girl (18 months!) over to see the horses and it was priceless! She had a lady bug costume on and seemed to get the biggest kick out of the horses. She did'nt have an ounce of fear! My mare was fascinated with her and followed her around for a while! (through the fence of course!) She must of sensed she was a baby and got some motherly instinct! I just did something complete extravagant...I am ordering a Hid with a custom face-up from a Canadian vendor...The more I looked at him with different eyes and a few tweaks, the more he grew on me and I wanted him! He will be my 50th and Christmas present from anyone who sends me money! *Gulp* The more photos of the Dollzone dolls I see the more I like them. He will get a different wig of course...not from Dollzone and we'll see what Acrylic eyes they give, I know they won't be red though! They don't come in that color! | |

| I guess I see pru as being both regal and edgy, so her man should be too.. Trust me he will look totally different without the red eyes, wig, and with my face-up modifications... I took down the lines on the ends of his mouth to make it look less characaturish, removed his under eye scar, and added white lases under his right eye (will be both eyes for the face-up). He will have more blush added like the Paranoia doll (that amount), and the white lashes will hopefully look similar to that. He may get glass eyes eventually...but see how different he looks with different eyes? Excuse the really bad photoshopping of the eyes, and that is what his stock mouth looks like in the eye picture...can you see how I changed his mouth in the first one? This should be really interesting huh? | |

| Hi! Yes, it was a great day! We took a long drive out to one of the state parks to see the colors. Had lunch and got home in time for trick or treaters. It was a really nice day weather wise. A little cloudy some of the day, but very nice for this time of year. It's been a great fall! We had a lot of super cute little goblins! My fave was one of the girls on the cul-de-sac who was a toilet! Funniest thing I ever saw! She is in 7th grade with a great sense of humor. Later in the evening the doorbell rang and it was a group of Eric's friends (all college kids) and they were all in awesome costumes! His best friend was one of the guys from Kiss! He painted his face himself. His other great friend had the most fantastic Dracula costume. One was a pimp - so funny! I gave them a bunch of candy and then they were going to go see Eric at work. Maybe Eric threw burgers and fries in their bags That sounds so cute about your horse and the little girl! Wish I could have seen them both! Congrats on getting the boy! I'm sure he will look great! Sounds confusing ordering those dolls Do you get to tell them how you want their make-up? They show him with red eyes but he can't come in red eyes? I do like the last picture a lot. I swear though, I will have to buy one of these dolls used so I can see what he/she looks like first! Did you spend the $400 and get the fox? When will you get him? I need to get ready for bed now, so I will talk to you tomorrow! Good night and sleep well! | |

Glad you had such a nice day with hubby yesterday and with the Halloween festivities! It sounds like you have had quite a beautiful Indian summer-so glad you got to enjoy it! Details about the doll ordering...I sent photos of my ideas and sent a detailed list of my specifications. They really are'nt very major, since I like the doll's overall face-up very much, so the gal thought the Chinese artist would'nt have any problem understanding what I want. It is nice to have someone to help be the middle man/woman in that process that really understands doll customization. For the base price, the doll comes with acrylic eyes-whick ironically do not come in the red. What is shown in the photo are glass eyes which you can buy from the company to add yourself. I liked most of the acrylic eyes, so chances are I may get some eyes that I really like. If not, I should be able to learn how to change them out down the road. They have quite a few doll meets in Seattle, so I may have to go to one or go visit the doll shop there sometime to get some help if I need it. I just had to go forward with this one because after checking out the choices in the lines of dolls I can somewhat afford...there are very few in the MSD size that don't look very juvenile. This one does not...He looks 17-19 ish which should work with Pru who looks 18-23 ish. It really was'nt all that confusing once I got the correct scoop from the DOA site about what qualified for the free pet and what did'nt. The cost of the clothes and face-up wound up being able to go towards the 400.00. So, I will be getting Hid with custom face-up, a complete outfit and boots for him-(the ones I showed you previously with different boots)), the pet with outfit and with face-up, body blushing, eyelashes the works. So I will be getting two complete BJD's for the total. One a "custom". Heck I paid 160-170 for the complete Bill project-so when I look at it that way, it isn't so bad. I nixed the wigs for now. I will get him a white or black fur wig somewhere and he will go with that for a while until I see his eyes and see what other wig he needs when I see him in person. And that will be all the dolls I get for quite a while I think! Pray for me my laydee! And I will pray for you! They do the orders in batches. Mine did not make the cut-off to go in last night, so will go in on 11/15. It takes them about 10-20 days to make the doll...so I should have it for Christmas! How fun, huh? It will be such a surprize since he will be an entirely unique, one of a kind creation! I am thinking of naming him Amadeus...but I should wait until I see him to make any final designation!

Yes, it has been an amazing Indian Summer. Tomorrow is going to be 61 and sunny. Makes me wish I didn't have to spend it having gum surgery Sorry, I am not feeling very talkative tonight. Justin took my dad to see his doctor this evening at 6:00. Things are a mess with my dad and my mom and I just had a fight and I really feel like I cannot take any more bad news at all. Not any more. I want this all to go away. I want life to be the way it used to be. I'm just really tired of it all and it feels like it is never going to end - well, until it really ends. I am just too bummed right now. I am going to take a shower and come back later. That might make me feel better. Oh, and my baby has a job interview Tues. My baby - driving, a job. How did this happen?

| Well, the day I dreaded is here Gum surgery day I can't wait for it to be over. It seems my dad now has some type of skin cancer maybe two types. He needs some more tests done. He is retaining a ton of water (the reason Justin took him to the doc last night) He looks like a beached whale when he lays down. They are going to play around with his water pills to see if that helps. He gets very winded just trying to get from the bed to the commode. The bruises from the prosthetics turned to open sores on the stumps. He can't see good at all. There are a lot of doc appointments scheduled for next week. Eric, Justin and myself are splitting the appointments since I only have Weds. off to take him. Eric and Justin will take him on Tues. and Thurs. It is getting quite overwhelming how many things are going wrong. I really think the diabetes is just taking over everything now. I have truly lost all hope that things are going to work out for him. I really have. I remember when we learned the first leg would go. I thought, well he'll get a prosthetic leg and just move on. I could not have been more wrong. Then the right leg went and I thought, well he will learn to walk on two prosthetic legs. Now I honestly don't think he will walk again. I don't know that anything is going to get better. I just see months and months of misery ahead. Our lives seemed perfect this time last year. Even at Easter. I just cannot believe what all has gone wrong with him in 6 months. I am glad to know that the acrylic eyes do not come in red!! So if I ever get a BJD I do not have to worry about that! I still do not see why you can't tell them what color eyes you want for your doll when you consider how much you are paying for it. I know you said you explained what type of face-up you would like. Can you show them pix of other dolls to give them an idea of what you want? Because that is probably what I would want to do. It would be easier than me trying to explain what I want. Do you know if they have a BST at DOA? I wonder if people sell BJDs like they do Pullips and Taeyangs. That would be for me! I've had such good luck getting my dolls that way! TTYL~ Hope you have a wonderful day! I know it will be better than mine!! | |

| Not to be negative or anything...but, it sounds like your Dad is headed back to the hospital very soon. I will be surprized if he will need to be taken to his appointments next week. The process he is going through is horrendous and my heart breaks for him and all of you. There are not easy solutions at this point, only extremely difficult ones. It is so hard to see him suffering like this isn't it? That is the hardest thing for me with patients that I see going through similar things in the hospital. It is almost easier in some ways if they are no longer aware of what is happening. (((((FC))))))) I think you are handling things as well as can be expected. You are coping the best you can in your own way. You are right though...he is not going to improve at this point. His poor body has been through too much over the last few months and the diabetes has taken it's toll.
I am looking into the eye selection thing. I want grey acrylic eyes I think. I am hoping I can request that since my final order has not gone in yet. It does make sense that I should be able to ask for it. Especially since I am paying extra for a custom face-up. I feel really good about the person I am dealing with on the order...she is a Canadian seller and frequents the DOA boards so knows what is going on with the DZ stuff. I posted a question about this over there today and have had really good luck hearing back from an Australian DZ dealer who is really nice and answers everyones questions.
May the force be with you for your surgery my laydee! Hope you can check in tomorrow or later to tell us how it went. But, you really need to rest considering what all is on your plate!
