| I totally agree about the Taeyangs having more difference in their facial features. Missionary, Lead, Filato, Sage, and Cavalie (I pick them because I have them) truly look different from each other. Lead and Missionary don't even look like the same doll. I do think Haute and Zuora look different. Haute has the teeth and eyes so different from the others. In person Zuora definitely looks different from the others. That is why I wanted a girl with dark features like Chill. I think she would also look different then the rest of my collection. I've always liked the pix of the J-Dolls, just wasn't sure I would be happy with a smaller doll. That "oriental" looking one is not a custom. She is just out of stock and in an oriental looking outfit. She is the same doll that is in the hat. Here she is in stock. I adore her stock. Her shoes and purse are awesome! I just love her! | |

| wow, she does look different than in her stock does'nt she? I do like her stock too, I remember seeing her when she was first released and drooling over it.
I think I will like your doll that is coming as much or even better though. Yours has better lips.

| Thanks! I think I will like her better too! I think that is why I fell for that Barbie red dress/coat/hat set that I bought yesterday. Between my doll's blue eyes, black hair and red coat she will look a lot like the pic above Still, if I am happy with my J-Doll this girl will be high on my list to get not only for her stock, but she photographs beautifully! Now if I was just as talented a photographer as YOU! Oops, I think I forgot to congratulate you on getting that lovely dress for Prudence! It is a gorgeous fabric and will look amazing on her! ETA: I was just over at PS and saw that gorgeous custom Taeyang named Eclipse!! Yowza - that's a beautiful man!! | |

| Yes, I saw Eclipse too. That gal does some cool custom Taeyangs and Pullips. I kind of wish she had posted one clear picture of his face-up though, that would have been nice to see the details of what she did. I am still waiting to hear from the Ebay seller about whether she thinks the outfit will fit my girl by making the adjustments in the corset top or not. My girl is slightly more endowed than the model doll. The gal seems really nice and accomodating. The custom doll clothes makers seem to offer the best deals in dollfie clothing land. My girl looks so great in blue or turquiose. That alice dress that I modified looks so good on her! I made it into a strapless babydoll style with lace and ribbon corset detailing. I just need to sew on the rickrack on the hemline to finish it. I am just too tired today to mess with it, maybe tomorrow. And I am going to force myself to go to bed here shortly. I have been staying up way too late and then have to drag myself to work...not good. | |

| Good morning Luca (and lurkers ) Hope you got a good nights rest! I slept pretty good. Had a few weird dreams I hear ya about staying up too late! I've been staying up until midnight and sometimes later just being on-line. Mostly evilbaying Bad me. Now that I am done with doll spending for a long while I can get to bed earlier. I hope it all works out with the outfit adjustments. Very cool that the seller is open to working with you. Also very cool that you worked your magic on the Alice dress. It is a perfect day here today. Sunny with a high of 72 Now THAT is my kind of weather! Tomorrow is suppose to be cloudy and in the 50s, so today is the day to enjoy! Eric left at 9:15 to take my dad for his first appointment with the people who will be making his new legs. It is about a two hour appointment as they will be making casts and whatever else they have to do. Eric and my mom will be going out to eat while they work on my dad. Hope it all goes well. This place is a satellite office of Woodfield Ortho and Prosthetics so it is only open on Tues and Thurs. No Weds. when I am off. Good thing Eric doesn't have classes on Tues. I don't know what will happen in Jan. when second semester starts. Hopefully Eric can arrange his class schedule the same way and still have Tues. or Thurs. off so he can continue to take my dad for any appointments, if he still needs to go there. I have no idea how long of a process this all is. I believe he will get his therapy there also instead of Marion Joy. Well, I best get going. I hope I get the chance to take some pix outside today. Yesterday was so very windy here and cloudy so I never got out to do it. Landon looks great in his new shirt and jeans from mEda! I have to decide who will wear the new white mini dress and take pix of that too! I like to leave pix with her feedback. Have a great day! Talk to you later~ | |

| I slept a little longer last night and feel better than yesterday, but still a bit tired. I am crazy to stay up so late on the net too! Seems like I always find something interesting that catches my interest and time just gets away from me! Lately it has involved my new type of doll interest. I did wind up buying the beautiful blue outfit. That is going to have to be it for me for a while too. I still have not received the mEda jacket, shirt, and pants for Tom yet. Maybe today. I can't believe I have not done a formal photoshoot of Tom for PS yet! I wanted to introduce him to the Pullip community before I post the shoot of Bill and Tom together for Halloween. That fiasco over at RS really took the wind out of my sales about that doll and I wanted to wait for all his outfit items to come in before I did one. This weekend I will have company so I can forget it then. Maybe tonight will have to be the night if I get my pants for him. Tomorrow is out too, since we will be doing last minute cleaning and shopping. It is supposed to be really nice here to! I may have to ride one of the creatures if it is really nice tonight to! Sometimes I wish I only worked 4 days a week. But, my spending habits will not allow that! Hope you have a great day and all goes well with your Dad's appointment! TTYL! | |

| Wow, that seems such a long time on getting the package from mEda! I get so impatient. The guitar lady hasn't returned my call Man, I will be so glad to get those in my hot little hands. I really hate when I have to call and bug people about my order, especially more than once! So glad you are getting the dress for your new girl!! How exciting. Funny, I was just reading the "do we pay too much for Pullips" thread at PS. Seems sad the dolls we love so much are so much money. Guess everyone feels it sometimes. I have been lucky in that none of my dolls have broken anything! I do wish the stock wigs were nice for the money. Well some of them are OK, but most don't hold a candle to the wigs I have gotten from JPOP or CanCan. I just showed Katie the J-Doll I ordered and she is really excited about her and them! She made me show her all the full size pix of them at the Japan site. I showed her the pix of Magnificent Mile and told her it was where her mom just was on Sunday and how I used to work and shop there. She says I should get her and asked what I would name her. I said lets go with something that matches her doll name and we came up with Maggie - short for Magnificent! How cute is that? Now I will have to get her since Katie is so proud she helped come up with the name Well, the temps are still great and the sun is still shining, but the winds are really strong again! This happens here whenever we have unseasonably warm temps or a big change in temp. I am hoping it eases up after 6:00 PM when the daycare kids leave. Sometimes it does. So sad that the Witches of RS ruined your Tom joy I wish I could take that away. You were always too good for them anyway I hope you are still really excited about your Halloween photoshoot! I know I am!! I sure hope you get to go creature riding tonight!! Two days until your company!! That will be fun - but I will miss you as I know you will be too busy to post. Please try to stop in a least once a day and let me know how you are doing! Later my friend~ | |

| Oh!! My Sugar Mag mod outfit just arrived in the mail!! It is late today due to the holiday. It is just adorable! It will fit type 2 for sure. It opens completely down the back. I may try it on Nat, but the colors are so perfect for Philana especially with her purple eyes and when she has on her pink wig! I think it will end up being hers!
ETA: Man, the winds here are crazy!! No going outside this evening. We can hardly open the windows because the wind is blowing everything over that is on tables by the windows!! It would blow my dollies away!

| Too bad the nasty wind kicked up and it foiled the dollie shot! Curses! I finally got my Meda stuff and it is nice. The jeans are a little tight in the waist and hard to snap, but look cute on. Bill rocks the jacket in a big way of course! I can't wait now to photograph them, but I will have to wait a week until after my company leaves. I trimed Tom's wig and tried to get his guitar strap adjusted right, and before I knew it I had lost the light and my photos of him did'nt come out very good. Oh well, they both look adorable and I am in love with them all over again. It does'nt take much I guess! I know I won't be parting with either of them anytime soon. Yeah, those bitches really hurt my feelings over there, but I think that is how they get their rocks off. Pushing people around if they will let them. They are really sad, losers when you stop and think about it. But, I try not to and you know what? They rarely cross my mind. I don't miss any of them except the sweet doll gal Zillah. I talk to Dymphna regularly anyway, and I am glad we will keep in touch. She is one of the rare worthwhle people left over there. I am happy I finally pulled away, they have to always get all crazy and obsessed about guys/bands. They can't just be a fan, they have to be lunatics that will gouge your eyes out if you say or do anything that is not in their self written rules. Anyway, enough about that! So glad your new Sugar Mag is going to work great for either of your girls. I so love having options! The gal I bought the new outfit from is from Portland and offered to meet me at a huge doll show they are having near Seattle she is going to be at to save on shipping. Too bad I can't...I would have loved to, but may have been too tempted to spend more money so it is probably for the best I won't be able to go. Yes, i will try to check in with you when I can starting on Friday. They will be here Thursday. I can talk to you when I am at work on Thursday though. So you are getting the other J-doll huh? Somehow I knew you would! Are you getting her nude or in her stock? | |

| Well, I have not pre-ordered her yet! Just showed her to Katie as she LOVES to look at doll pix on-line. She was like me in loving that she is named/based on a street in downtown Chicago. I am a sucker for stuff that has to do with Chicago. I did so love working downtown or anytime we go there for anything. Downtown Chicago is really gorgeous, especially at night. Have you ever been there? Anyway, it was fun that we named her and if I love my J-Doll when she gets here than I will probably pick Magnificent Mile for my birthday present. If I do she will have to be in stock because of her significance to me with the Chicago theme. Besides nude J-Dolls don't seem to come around much. I look all the time - just curious , and other than the nude I am getting there has not been another nude anywhere on ebay. I haven't found anyone selling used ones either. I don't mind really because I so love the clothes they have them in. I just got this one nude because of the price and wanting to see if I even want to start collecting them. I am both nervous and excited to see her in person. I do think I will get at least one more. I know where in my office I am putting her and I will need one to balance it off. I can be fussy about being symmetrical! I am so glad you finally got the outfit from mEda and that you have renewed love for your boys!! I am so crazy about my boys right now. I cannot wait to take more pix of them. Yes, you should hear the wind whipping around our house! Howling! We are having a huge temperature drop so that is probably the cause. We were 85 yesterday and will be low 50s tomorrow. We always have such winds when that happens. I know tomorrow is suppose to be cloudy, windy and cool. I will take pix in the house by a window and hope for the best. I want to dress my girls in their new outfits and get pix into mEda's feedback. BTW, I love some of her new outfits for the girls, but her prices need to come down just a bit. I think she would sell really well if the outfits weren't mostly $30! Also, I hard a hard time snapping the jeans on Landon too. Had to push so hard I was afraid I would snap him! So glad you are getting over what happened and not missing the witches! They are a distant memory for me too. I need to send some pix to Dymphna of my new boys. I wanted to wait and get better pix of Landon's haircut before I sent them to her. I did just read a post by her in the Blythe thread at PS and I see she is getting another one for sure. She likes that they look like dolls and not human like BJDs. I am glad that there are not humans that look like Blythes I don't think I will ever understand the love for those dolls. Must be one of those you need to see in person to appreciate. Man I am going to hate waiting so long to see your new pix of The Twins! Do you have big plans with your company? Are you taking any time off of work to spend with them? Well, I am getting sleepy Need to wash up and get ready for bed. I am off tomorrow and do not need to take my folks anywhere Besides spending a little time with my dolls, I am going to get out all of our fall and Halloween stuff. It's been so hot here that I haven't felt like getting out the fall stuff since it felt like summer and I was still wearing capris and tank tops! Being cloudy and in the 50s with the wind blowing leaves of the trees will put me in the mood to get to change things to fall colors and put out our pumpkins and scarecrows etc! Sleep good and see you in the morning! | |

| I will never get a Blythe...for that you can be sure! Fug, fug, fug! I'm glad Dymphna is enjoying them though...i think there are probably actually more Blythe collectors than Pullips. Well, some bad things have happenned the last few days and tonight just topped it off. Have I ever told you how klutsey my husband is? He is always dropping things, losing his glasses, cutting himself...well he was changing all the lightbulbs in the house in preparation for our company and fell off the stool onto his head and has a huge gooseegg on his bad ankle now. I don't know whether to laugh or cry! He is ok, but dayummm!!!!! He had planned to do all the last minute cleaning, run to the store, yada, yada, yada tomorrow since he has tons more vacation time than me. Well, so much for that. He is very hyper also. I know he won't be able to sit still for long. But, that thing is going to be sore for a while by the looks of it... then yesterday he was repainting our wooden kitchen chairs outside our garage and motioned to me as I was pulling in and I plowed into the side of the metal garage and damaged my car.....1200 worth. With a 500.00 deductible with our insurance. Good god what next.... On a good note...I finished the babydoll Alice dress for my girl and she looks smashing in it! I am very proud of myself indeed. Have a good one...looks like tomorrow is going to be a very busy day for me... | |

| Peeking in to say hi. I do not have any dolls for three reasons: 1. I collect eggs, and have no space for two collections. 2. I appear to have collected a nice assortment of small children, and that's it for my money 3. Sarah would want to play with them. Horrific visions of a $100 Pullip doll upside down under her bed. Naked. The boy has interesting issues as well. But it is fun to look at the pictures! Firecracker invited me to comment, so I'm just waving. Really cute dolls. My dollhouse, such as it is, is the Sims. | |

| YAY!!! I am so glad you posted Abrahammy!!!! I guess you got my hint with the "Good Morning Lurkers"!! Please post often! We love that you are enjoying our dolls!! You should post pix of your eggs! The thought of a naked Pullip under your daughter's bed cracked me up What is your son's issue with dolls? Is he one of those boys who takes the heads off I just remember that from a Roseanne episode when they found doll heads in a shoe box under their son's bed! Luca, I am so very sorry that all that has happened. Poor hubby Tell him how sorry I am and that I hope he heals quickly and can still enjoy your company. Also tell him I said if he didn't want to do the last minute chores he didn't have do hurl himself off a stool! Just kidding - honestly, I feel bad for him. You too as now that means you will be even more crazed trying to do it all! Just remember they are coming to see you and not your house! Besides, knowing you I am sure everything is already so beautiful!! I can tell by your gardens and the little glimpses I've seen of your home in your doll photos. You have excellent taste and an eye for everything to be perfect! Also, you take amazing care of yourself and your babies and I am sure that carries through to your home. So sad and scary about your car! I am glad you are OK, but I know this is a bad time to be out some money with your big trip to Italy right around the corner. {{{Luca, hubby, car, garage}}} I cannot wait to see Prudence in her newly redone Alice dress!! So proud of you learning to sew!! Luca and Abrahammy I hope you both have a safe and beautiful day!! Talk to you guys later! Love ya | |

| OK, here is a link for the Blythe doll that Dymphna just bought. I have to admit for a Blythe she is kinda cute. Her outfit is adorable and her hair and glasses strike me as exactly the type of doll Dymphna would go for. She looks like someone who likes to read and Dymphna is a writer. Also she truly is very retro looking and Dymphna loves that. With shipping she is pretty expensive. I think Dymphna is really going to love and enjoy this girl though. She is right up her "alley" Pun intended!! http://cgi.ebay.com/New-NRFB-Toysrus-Limited-Neo-Blythe-Cloud-9-Bowl_W0QQitemZ260162064587QQihZ016QQcategoryZ36546QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItem | |

| Hi Abrahammy! *Waves* I vaguely remember the days when I could enjoy the dolls from afar and had extra cash to buy clothes and shoes for myself...those days are long gone and the doll money pit sucks down all my fun money! So please come marvel anytime at how much fun and money too fairly normal women can spend on their "addiction"! I think the egg collecting sounds a lot less spendy! Is it?
FC, hubby is doing quite well today, and is going to tackle most of the less taxing chores like laundry, putting up a few pictures, and rearranging the patio. I will go to the store after work tonight, so things are going to be fine. *whew*
Hey, Didi has been wanting that doll for a while, it is her grail. I do kind of like that one and the stock is really cute. It is totally her kind of doll. She will look cute in that retro cadillac she bought!
Have a great day my laydee and Abrahammy!
Will check in later this afternoon at work!

Hope your weather is beautiful and you all gets lots of riding in and whatever else you all love to do! Yes, that set is a MUST for Miss Traveling Lady Gaby!! How cute will those photos be?!! Now you need to get her a mini plane to board and a hot Italian man!! Oh wait, maybe that is me who needs a hot Italian man J/K hubby dear Well, I will be busy with little girls today and hubby took the camera to work so no fun with photos and of course today the sun is shining and the winds have finally died down. As cloudy and blustery as it has been we never did get a drop of rain. Hope you have a wonderful day! Say Hi to your company for me when they arrive. If by chance the weather is bad for you guys tell them that doll photoshoots are a fun way to spend a rainy day (not that I am in any hurry to see Bill in his jacket or anything ) ETA: Damn, it is only one hour later from when I posted and it is dark and windy again!! Sun come back!!!! Oh well, it is suppose to be sunny all day tomorrow and over the weekend. Hope they are right. Mom and I are going "fun shopping" (which means not groceries) and out to lunch tomorrow. Hubby and I are going car shopping on Saturday. So if they are right about 60s and sunny I will be a happy camper and forgive the weather gods for the last 4 crappy days
