| The jetlag lasted 4 days on the return trip and about 1 1/2 days on the way over. People have told me that is expected though because you have to travel through more time zones or something coming back. I slept through the night last night and got about 8 hours of sleep! I am back to baseline again now. Sounds like you have good genetics on the jowls and the skin. I don't have much in the way of wrinkles either, probably because I have the oilest skin on the planet. I guess you have to try and think of the positives and not dwell on the negatives... It is good to be home, that is for sure. I really missed the creatures and my own bed! And ice in my drinks! I am having a hard time finding the right wig for Hid. I want a black one with a silver streak and cannot find one anywhere. | |

| Glad you got good rest! I thought I had the oiliest skin on earth Hate it! BUT, they do say that has A LOT to do with not getting wrinkles! So yes, we need to look at the bright side. PLUS, oil absorbing sheets! They are awesome and a lifesaver on days when we are out for hours! The Free and Clear ones are awesome! What size wig does Hid wear? Did you see the Lead at PS that some girl customized with a really cool wig and red eyes? I usually hate red eyes (she used Blythe chips) but he looks freaking gorgeous!! I LOVE him!! The wig she used looks amazing too! Well, back to putting up Xmas decorations. The tree just needs it ornaments and it is done! | |

| Eeek! That Lead is gorgeous! I never thought I would hear you say you liked red eyes of any sort-how funny! Looks like she did a custom face-up too! Who posted that doll? I think Hid will wear a 7-8 wig. Some people have said 7-8 wigs are a bit big on the DZ dolls though. But, I think Hid and Ray are a little bigger... I found some oil control lotion stuff at Sephora that rocks too! I got a sample of it when I bought some other stuff. It is made by Cosmedicine called "Medi-matte". You put some on under your make-up and it lasts nearly all day! I am rationing it out until I get some more! | |

| I KNOW!! (in a Monica tone!) I think it's because they are Blythe eyes and do not look like demon eyes. Just a nice red color and not like he is possessed by the devil She did redo his make-up. He is just beautiful! That wig hanging over his eyes and face like that is just hot! Now I am thinking of re-wigging my lead in a burgundy wig that style! I will have to look up who the poster is. Thanks for the info on the matte finish. I have tried other brands of that stuff, but for some reason I used to get blackheads when I wore them. I never get blackheads, only when I used those finishes. I think because they held the oil in or something. I will try the one you just suggested. I wanted to order something from Sephora before Xmas because you can get 3 nice sample of expensive perfume whenever you order from their website! I am taking a much needed break from Xmas decorating. I just spent 3 and half solid hours on my feet decorating trees, the foyer, the staircase, and the powder room. I figured I'd catch up on my fave boards and then do the living room, and hopefully the dining room. The dining room takes a long time since I swap out everything on the china hatch with the Xmas China and I have to be so careful. Eric put some Xmas flowers outside in pots and Rob is hanging lights in the windows. Justin is lucky - he got to go to work! But he does have to bring home some ornaments hooks as we always manage to lose some each year I tell ya, it is great having your kid working at a big grocery/drug store. Every time he goes to work he can bring back whatever we need! Plus the whole family gets a discount. We told him today he can never quit because it is our fave grocery/drug store and we LOVE our discount!! Well, I will see you! Must get back into Xmas mode!! ETA: Here you go: The poster is Bloodberry Jam. She has several pix in this thread! http://pullipstyle.com/resource/viewtopic.php?t=21567 She calls him Alice because she thinks he looks like Alice Cooper! Honey, Alice Cooper NEVER looked that good But, I did love some of his music! | |

You've got that right! I love how she changed the shape of his nose and mouth...I would like to see what the detail of the eye make-up looks like up closer though... maybe that is why she went with the long bangs! Man, you sure have your guys trained well I must say! It is team FC Christmas project gone wild! Love eeet! I can't even think about Christmas yet, I am still recovering from Thanksgiving! Glad you had time to take a break...I really must work some more on downloading some photos! TTYL!

| Well, Team FC just hit a road block! Most of the icicle lights for our windows are out We lost a few last year and just made what we had stretch, but now we are just dumping what we have and getting new ones. I might try a different type. I like those snowflake ones. We have some really long windows so I will have to do some measuring. I won't be able to get out and shop until Weds. as I have to wait for the cable guys tomorrow. Unless by some miracle they come early. Yeah, right . I have kids after school and all day Tuesday. I have to take my dad to the ortho surgeon on Weds. to check his right stump and see if they can start on a leg for it. Then I have to take them on errands. Hopefully Weds. early evening I can go get some lights. Well, I only have the dining room left to do, so I am off to get it done. Man, my back hurts I had an bad fall cleaning out the pool 15 years ago and sprained my lumbar vertebra. Ever since them standing for long periods gives me lower back pain. Bummer. TTYL! ETA: Well, I just went to Sephora and ordered some of that matte stuff. NOT cheap But, if it works as good as you say and it reads than it will be worth it, especially for the holidays when we are away for many hours at parties etc. Also, they had free shipping for $50+ orders so I also got this eyeliner I really like and 3 free samples of perfume! I love the little bottles they send. Also the fancy free satchel. So I am pleased! | |

We need to get our wreathes on the garage and lights on the bushes and decorating will be all finished!! It's a lot of work but so worth it when all the rooms are done. But my back and feet are killing me! Time for Tylenol PM and hit the sack!!

| Woohoo! She has finished the marathon Christmas decorating! You deserve a full body massage, hot toddy, or other stiff drink after all that! But, somehow I bet hubby is too tired after the light fiasco to even go there! I am making slow steady progress on the photos from Italy. I actually have two days worth of photos on Photobucket now! Only 8 more days to go.... It takes bloody forever, but it will be so worth it to have everything organized and blogged about to share with my internet and other friends and family. Must go take a computer break myself before my neck falls off! Sleep well! I know I will!\ WTA: Hope you like the Medimatte stuff...I know I have sure been impressed with it! | I cannot wait to see your pix! How cool you are doing them in order by days and blogging! I bet that is a long process!! It will be so worth it though when you are done to have such an amazing photo journal of your Italian adventure!! It's kind of sad though that it is over. I mean, I remember when you first told all of us at "you know where" about it and it was so far off - now it is in the past. Time just goes so fast it's scary. I am so glad to have such a positive testimonial from someone I trust about the Medimatte. I know products don't work the same for everyone, but I figured if you are so pleased with it then it was worth the money to give it a shot. If for some reason it doesn't work for me I will send it to you. I do hope it works though. It's been a life long dream to be able to go out all day and not worry about getting all shiny I so envy people who do not have oily skin - except for the fact that we don't wrinkle! Good night and sleep well my friend | |

It was a fantastic adventure, but the stress level with traveling in a foreign country does wear you down after a while. It did for us anyway. And the expense definitely makes it cost prohibitive for most people to stay over a few weeks. Have a great day! TTYL after I get to work!

| Hey Luca! Hope you had a good day! (and anyone else who is reading this) We have TV! I was so pissed because the cable guys were suppose to come between 8:00 AM and Noon and I was told I had to be there to answer the phone when they called to say they were on their way or they would skip us and go to the next call. Well, 1:00 PM comes and no call and no guys. I sit on hold for 30 freaking mins. with the main office waiting to find out what was going on. 2:30 the guys finally show up. I act all nice and everything as I am hoping that they can fix the TV connection without losing our internet connection. They can't find any problems outside, say there is a strong reception and feed so can they look in the basement. So I take them down to the daycare room where the amplifier is up in the wall over the fuse box. They see that the little green light isn't on, meaning the amplifier isn't getting any power. They follow the cord to the power strip down on the floor behind the TV center (as I want it all away where the kids can't get at) and somehow the plug for the amplifier (looks like a little black box) got crooked and wasn't in the outlet just right. The guy just pushes it in more and all the TVs start working fine. That is all it was!! A whole week of no TV because the damn thing wasn't plugged in right. YOU CANNOT IMAGINE HOW RED MY FACE WAS!!! They got a good laugh. They were really sweet and funny about it. The aimed the amplifier up by the ceiling so that I can see the little green light and said if it is ever out - just check the plug. Oh well. At least I got all that phone tech knowledge while having no TV to watch! Plus I learned my way around ABC.com! So, during the day when I couldn't vacuum or do anything that made noise since I didn't want to miss their call, I dressed all my girls in their Xmas gowns! They look gorgeous! I put Luca in a tux and when I get done with dinner I will put Clay in the tan suit I won on ebay for him! It came with boxers and socks too. He will look amazing! I may take pix tomorrow or after I get a couple of things to decorate the shelves. God I love my dollies all dressed up! Well, TTYL!! | |

| That is too freakin' funny that you went a week without cable and it was just unplugged! Did'nt hubby take a look at it at some point? I would have been a tad red myself! Oooh what fun you have all the gang dressed up in their Christmas finery! I am kind of at a weird place with my Pullips. I still like them, but they just don't hold the interest they once did. I don't want to sell any of the ones I have, but I won't be getting any more either. I have not looked at PS or any other Pullip site since returning from Italy other than talking with you here about them. For me, just sharing the Pullip interest with you is enough. The Pullip boards just are not that interesting to me right now. I still enjoy looking at my Pullips and Taeyangs for myself, but I think I am just a little burned out with the photoshoots and constantly having to buy them new props and outfits to pull off my artistic vision for the shoot. I have more interest in learning how to shoot the BJD's now and appreciating the fantastic photos that some of the folks at DOA take of their dolls. Part of me wants to dress Tom and Bill up like elves though... just for you and I! Based on the low interest in them on PS and elsewhere I doubt I will post more photos of them for a while. I do plan on taking most of their photos off my Flickr account too. I think you know why I feel this way..... | |

| Hey Luca! I just got out of The Clack House Chat room for Clay's opening night of his new Xmas tour! Such funny ladies! I can't wait for pix and vids from his show tonight! They say he lost a lot weight, hair longer and dressed to kill in long black morning coat over black suit! He was in "serious" Christmas mode! The man loves him some Christmas (as do I) Well, to be fair to hubby about the plug thing - first off the cable guys set that up when we got high speed internet, so he thought that was just for internet. Second, the plug is behind a lot of stuff against a wall so we never would have guessed that some how it got out of place. At least now we know. I'm just glad it wasn't some complicated problem like our internet problem was. I feel so bad that you have fallen out of love with Pullips/Taeyangs I still love them! And the J-Dolls. I am not ready for those super expensive dolls. I like looking at the pix though! I do understand about Bill and Tom. That started out as such an exciting project and some how things went south I still can't get over the lack of interest in them at PS, especially when I see some of the customs that get pages of comments that I don't think are all that interesting. Oh well. What can you do. I certainly understand taking them off of Flickr though. Hopefully certain people are not commenting on your photos. I am glad that you will come here and talk to me about Pullips/Taeyangs!! What would I do if you didn't ?? I think you should dress them up for Xmas! Elves would be adorable! Wait until you see how gorgeous my girls look!! Well, at least I think they are gorgeous!! Well, I need to dress my Clay doll in his suit! I haven't done that yet - what between hanging in Chat for the concert and keeping one eye on DWTS! Too many things going on tonight!! TTYL~ | |

I still do love them, but just in a different way I think. They are still dolls I enjoy and don't want to part with, I just think I need a break from the intensity I went through with the Bill, then the Tom, then all the major photoshoots, picfics, etc. etc. Somehow I think having 2 of the BJD's will be enough for me too...I guess I will have three though won't I with the fox! I still hope to share our Pullip/Taeyang interest here together along with any other dolls that happen to strike our fancy. I was just giving you a hard time about your hubby missing that it was unplugged...I'm sorry- I just had too! It was just so funny and ironic....I'm also just glad it was a quick, inexpensive, and painless (semi- anyway!) fix for you! So Clay is looking all spruced up for the Holidays eh? He does know how to work it does'nt he? Glad he is out there giving his fans what they enjoy. I guess I will try and make Bill and Tom some Christmas hats or something to look Festive. I really don't want to have to buy anything else for them for a while...they have definitely had their turn with the new stuff! I would love to find them some Christmas sweaters though... Gawd, I truely am a hopeless doll overspender!

| I knew you were kidding, but the poor guy had no idea that box had to do with TV and not just internet. They didn't charge us anything. The cable people never have when they come out! WAIT until you see my Clay in his new suit!! He looks amazing! Such a beautiful boy! The suit just brings out his eyes and his hair! I will try to take pix tomorrow! I can't wait any longer to share how beautiful my whole gang looks! That would be a problem for me with the BJDs! You know how I like the "collecting" aspect of the dolls. I know that I would just want more and more of those expensive babies. I fear even starting that collection. I am sure once I saw one of those gorgeous dolls in person I would be desperate to get several of them. Just like with the Pullips/Taeyangs - wanting a blue eyed blonde, a redhead, and dark eyed brunette and sooooo on! Oh, Xmas sweaters would look wonderful! Maybe next year I will get mEda to make some for my guys! I will have 5 guys by then! Yes, Mr. Aiken does love to dress-up all fancy and classy for the holidays! Some of the fans were disappointed because the concert tonight was very serious. Clay usually is very funny in concert. Looks like he has chosen to make this Holiday tour very classy and serious. I look forward to seeing vids, but if he isn't bantering I won't be downloaded a whole lot. Maybe one of each song. I usually keep all the banter vids. I have hundreds on a server of Clay just talking and being funny and charming! Hubby got me a new server just for my Clay stuff Got to get into bed! Talk to you tomorrow! | |

Always stunning Natalie! She was born to wear black and white! Cutie Kira! Her first day out of stock! (I was a little sad to take her out of stock for the first time, but she looks beautiful!) My delicious Didi! Green is so her color! Gorgeous Clay (not a good pic as I was standing on a chair. I will get more of him later!) Clay and Neora in Purple Passion! My super beautiful Zaria! She is so stunning in person! I wish you could see her! With her Lovely man Luca dressed to the nines!! These aren't the best pix, I was in a hurry to get them before the rest of the kiddies get here. I will get better ones at a later date when I decorate the shelves. I am going to go to the craft store and look for different packages for them to hold. Ones that match their dresses better because I AM ANAL!! Hope you have a perfect day!! ETA: Luca, a poster at PS said that when she was at World Market and Cost Plus they had little Xmas sweater ornaments for the tree. She said they fit Pullips and Taeyangs as 3/4 sleeve sweaters. They fit Dals perfect. So maybe if you have one of those stores you can check it out! We don't have Cost Plus or Costco. We have a World Market about 50 mins away. I don't know if I will make it to one anytime soon though.

Each one has a gown or suit and wig that brings out their personality! And you are right, each of them beautiful in their own way! I broke down and bought Bill a scarf and hat that I thought was semi-Christmasy and a good price! Now Tom will be a tad harder... he is the one that really needs a Christmas hoodie or Sweater! But, it must be the baggy look. Who knows, maybe I will find a MSD size sweater for him. I am going to make Ali a sexy Christmas Elf too! I must find some doll size santa hats! I bet Michaels will have some. Oh, and I love your beautiful minitree! Yes, keep it coming and I bet I drag all my Christmas stuff out this weekend!

| Thanks! I am glad you like the way they look! I do love my dollies all dressed up, I must say! I'm glad you like my little office tree. The big one is in the family room. I have a small one in the living room, the dining room, two upstairs by the boys' bedrooms and one in the daycare playroom. There is also a really cute mini fiber optic one on my office desk. Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree I bet Michaels will have doll size hats. I wish I could head to the craft store tomorrow, but I will be so busy running my folks around and sadly they are predicting crappy weather. Cold, windy rainy. Should be all sorts of fun going thru the ordeal of getting my dad out of the car in that weather Hopefully I can get to Michaels, Hobby Lobby or JoAnn's on Friday after the window guy leaves. Oh the joy of waiting for repair men! The hat and scarf you got Bill is perfect!! He will look adorable! I'll get you in the Christmas spirit by the weekend - I'll take some pix of the rooms all decorated in our house! Everyone said today that our home is so festive! I plan to get the cards done this weekend. I always feel in really good shape with Xmas once the cards are out and all the decorating done! Those are the big jobs. Wrapping used to be the big job until the boys got older and we don't have all those little action figures and games etc. from Santa to wrap at night after the little guys were sound asleep. Now I just need Bill's hat and scarf...and I don't know how I am going to make Tom festive other than to get him a Santa hat or something! I may try to make him a Christmas hoodie or something if I get really motivated and can find some good fabric. I have been working some more on my pictures tonight...man, we did get some great shots and I sure have some wonderful memories to carry to my grave-that is for sure! Hope I can get it all done by the weekend. Well, better head towards the bed...tomorrow will be here soon. Keep the Christmas vibes coming...it is working already! | |

| LUCA LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!! This place has BJD's in my price range!! (well, I still can't get one for a long time - but!) $178 base for 60cm and $128 base for 43cm!! I am so excited!! The price includes eyes and you add $25 for make-up. They are in North America!! I got the link from a poster at PS who has some of their dolls! This is so exciting as I really felt I would never get a BJD because I just didn't think I could bring myself to pay so much for one doll, especially knowing I would want at the very least a boy and a girl. At this price I could see easily getting a boy and a girl and maybe more! Great price BJDs! I am totally smitten with this one! I love this boy too!! They are both 43cm so $128 plus $25 for face-up plus shipping. Add a wig and clothes and Viola!! Now I only have to wait until next Xmas! ETA: Oh Crap! Oh Crap! Oh Crap!!!! Look at this little guy!! | Yes, the poster at PS has two of them and really loves them! Well, at least they are something I feel I really can get next year! Luca, my Sephora order came today! God I love that place! I get everything so fast from them. The eyeliner I got is a beautiful color (it's a teal), and my free sample perfumes are great! I already washed off half of my make-up and put the MediMatte on! I am anxious to see how it works. You know, after I ordered it I went to Amazon and read reviews and it was evenly split between people who loved and those who didn't. The ones who didn't said it was too thick and hard to spread over the face and that you couldn't put foundation over it So I was a little worried (I always wear some foundation to even out skin tones) Anyway, I had no trouble at all spreading it. I didn't find it too thick and my mouse foundation went on with no trouble at all. So I don't get why those ladies had any problems. Glad I listened to you and didn't read those reviews first before I ordered or I may have changed my mind. I see they also have a spray on version for $35 compared to the tube for $42. I just don't think the spray on would last as long. Anyway, I let you know how it works for me! Crossing fingers and toes! We had one hell of a time getting my dad out off the car for his appointment today. He is like Humpty Dumpty with the water/weight around his abdomen and he is so low down in that Saturn. After 12 mins. struggling to get him out I said I am going in there and getting someone to help us. This big strapping young guy who works in the gym room for the therapy patients said "sure I'll come and help!" Got my dad out in the blink of an eye! Just picked him right up out of the car seat and into the wheelchair. Didn't even need the slide board! Now, if only we could take that guy with us everywhere! The good news = the Doc said for my dad to go tomorrow to get fitted for the right leg! So in a couple of weeks he will have both of his temporary prosthetics! Now, if only his vision would clear up we might actually see some light at the end of the tunnel! He wears his left prosthetic a few hours a day, but he is having trouble pivoting. Hopefully he will get the hang of it soon. | |

| wow! You sure did get your order super fast! I hope you do like the Medimatte..you only need a small amount and I just dab some in the T-zone area. I think it spreads great, wears great under make-up, and is weightless. I have not touched up my make-up all day and I am only slightly shiny on my forehead &nose. For me, that is a MAJOR improvement!Even with 2-3 powder or grease blotting sessions, I would still be very shiny at the end of the day! It sure saved my life in Italy when I did'nt carry a purse with all my touch up supplies-that is what sold me on it! I will never be without it again... Sorry to hear your Dad is still having so much trouble getting in and out of the car. Don't you all have a community service available that offers elderly, handicapped folks a ride in a van or something to safely get to their appointments? I am concerned he is going to get hurt trying to get him in and our of your rig in his condiditon,or that you will hurt your back again trying to lift him. Maybe it is time to consider assisted living. I believe some of them offer transportation to MD appointments. A young strapping guy that can lift him may not always be around when you need one! But, I know you are hoping he will walk again once he gets both his artificial legs, but I really doubt that is going to help him to get in and out of the car for a while...that still requires really good balance. I know you are not into Elves, but I think this Bobbie 43 cm doll is just beautiful...she would make a gorgeous vampire! | |
