Animals/Pets!

I now have eight lambs! They are so cute. All mamas and babies are fine. I am so excited. I tried to take some good pics bit they run so fast. I will see if my son can do a better job. I am not so good with the camera.
Also I bred my Halle girl if it took I already have buyers for all the pups. I hope I have puppies. I just love all babies in any shape or form.

Update: Babyman Cole is settling in nicely! He comes in the house and gets on his bed with his fav chew toy. He is still a little scared and timid about walking on the floor, so I put his bed right by the door and sit with him there. He loves coming inside and lets me know he does'nt want to go back out, but he isn't quite trained enough to stay in yet for more than an hour or so.

Oh how sweet Luca! I can just picture you two sitting on the bed by the door!

It won't take long, Luca, for your little Cole to figure out how to stay indoors with you longer!

When I got my Emma, I had never owned a dog. And I was determined not to let her sleep in my bedroom. Hee hee - that lasted a few weeks. In fact, the bedroom is in the front of the house so that's her main post during the day - and of course its on my bed! I have special sheets and covers I use on my comforter. As soon as she see them being put on, she knows her time has arrived.

One of the ladies on one of the Bo boards I belong to also raises sheep and she often posts pictures of their lambs and dogs. Oh, God, they are so cute! I love it when the sheep look like they're laughing.

I would love to have a herd of alpacas to herd around on horseback! Those crazy critters are way over my price range though...they go for about 3-5,000 a piece! Or they were a few years ago anyway!

What do sheep sell for?

I am learning some interesting things about Cole. He is afraid of other people it seems. When taking him for a walk about a week after I got him, a neighbor was working in her yard and came over to meet him. Cole would not let her approach, and would not even take a treat from her! Actually barked at her! I thought...hmmmm. Maybe just a fluke or an issue when we are off our property or something. Well, the vet came today, and he did the same thing. He would not go near her and I had to literally hold him down for her to give the shot. She thinks he needs some socialization. Especially before I have him neutered. He always has been great with us-from the very first day we saw him. I took him for a walk away from his master and he did great. It was an instant bond. I see he is not usually like that with strangers, or maybe it is just because he is not fully secure with us here yet. He sure seems like it though...*scratches head* Definitely need the doggie behavior book. We have a dog whisperer one on hold at Borders...now I just need to order the other one.

So I was browsing Perez Hilton (yep, I was), and he had this link to a Walrus dancing to Michael Jackson.

I love it! And maybe it is just me imagining, but the walrus seems to enjoy it, and when he gets sick of it he just rolls off into the water.
