| Of course I still love sharing the Pullip and J-doll interest! The Pullips are just my secondary interest not my primary! I am still planning on keeping two boys and two girls! I just realized my impulse buying mode just kind of got me ripped a little. A new bobobie with face-up, eyes and shipping is only 135.00! I paid 135.00 for a nude doll with no face-up or eyes! I am bummed now. I did email the seller, but she will probably laugh in my face. I should have double checked it, but I thought for sure last time I checked the face-up was 20.00 more! Live and learn. I really should know better at my age. *groan* | |

| Oh noz!!! I am so sorry What a shame. Perhaps the seller will see that she overpriced the Spite and refund you some money. We can hope. I swear the BJD world is just too many decisions! I like that I can order a Pullip, Taeyang or J-Doll from an American site and get them complete and not stress out over everything. I don't know how people who get all those $600 and up dolls deal with all the things you need to know and think about to get the BJD of your dream I sure hope it all works out for you. Feeling ripped off is a terrible feeling I know. I've been there on other matters. Like cars and such. It can really make you feel bad. But don't beat yourself up over it. Now you just know to be super careful of everybody. | |

| Well, I got my money back. I am glad about that. She is saying she is planning on giving me negative feedback though and is going to post our emails together over there. I feel I have nothing to be ashamed of and only mentioned that I was going to check into what my options with my credit card/paypal were since I felt I was being overcharged...She took that as I was threatening her and that she was planning on refunding me what I had asked for or offering me a free face-up. She knew she was gouging...she claimed she paid 118.00 for the doll. Guess she was trying to get shipping. plus some back.... Oh well. I sure learned my lesson on that. Guess I won't be buying or selling at DOA again anytime soon. It is really no biggie anyway, because I rarely found good deals over there anyway. Most of the gals feel like even if something is used it should bring the same price or as with this case, more than what they paid for it. I think this is good because this is actually really going to curb my doll spending and time spent over there! Some things are just meant to be sometimes, and I think the timing of this could'nt be better! | |

| Well, I am glad that you got your money back but I am pissed that she is giving you negative feedback You have such excellent feedback at PS and you are always such a gracious seller/buyer. It seems so unfair. Well, I always thought that board was kinda snooty, even though there are many lovely photos there of amazing dolls. I feel like you do about the used items. They should be discounted. I do hope you get your Sprite soon. | |

| I actually have a bad taste in my mouth about the Sprite now. Something about this has told me that I should go a different direction and better yet-not jump into something I may regret later! It is all good! We both avoided potential overpaying for stuff this weekend! Me, much more than you though! It seems interacting with people on the internet is often risky and definitely a learning experience! | |

| Well, I am glad you are feeling better. Sorry you now have a bad taste for Sprite. She is such a cutie! Yes, as wonderful as the internet is and can be (and for the most part I have had great luck) you do need to be really careful. As I have stated before, the BJD world is a little more complex than the Pullip world. I still think it is horrible what she did to you. | |

| It is so nice to have a friend here always in my corner. I so appreciate you! Well, I have to say I think I deserved a little bit of what she dished out, but maybe not to that extreme. I will be just a little surprized if she actually follows through, because if it was me I would'nt want to bring attention to the fact that I was charging more for a nude, no face-up doll than you can buy a complete one for. Especially when it isn't even a rare doll that you have to preorder. I mean you can buy one today and it will be shipped out in a matter of days if you are just wanting a regular skin or white skin with a default face-up. I always was nice about it, but I did let her know I was not happy about it. I gave her an opportunity to continue with the deal and just refund me 25.00, but she refunded my money which was my preferred way of going-and I was hoping that would be the result when I let her know I was checking into my rights as a paypal customer if she opted to not work something out with me. Perhaps, I jumped the gun and should have waited a while before I shot off my last email to her, but hey-I was a bit irritated and upset then that I got ripped, so I wanted to push her a little to find out what she was going to do so it would be over once and for all. I am just tired of dealing with the hassles involved with ordering doll stuff. This is so good for me right now too to get me back under control with the hobby. I know you know what I mean! But, you know? In the big scheme of things-this is so not something for me to stress about! Considering what your family is dealing with right now, I am embarrased to even mention it! It all worked out ok anyway and may actually be beneficial to me in curbing my spending and also to make me much more cautious in my dealings with buying things from people on forums. A gal over at Requiem is claiming she wants both Ali and Caprice...I'll believe it when I see it! Poor Ali is pretty rough looking without a wig and with her stained body, belly pop, and butt melt! She looks great with clothes, but without... I had to throw in a free wig and dress to sweeten that deal. It really is all about marketing! | |

| Good morning! Glad you are feeling better about it all! I will always be here for you and I appreciate you too! More than you will ever know! I know she did go through with it as I went there to see. It was stupid because she does show everyone she was overcharging and made a mistake about the eyes. Plus I don't like the fact that she said you sent a "threatening" PM without posting that one like she did the others. It leaves it up to people's imagination as to "how threatening" it was. I think she is a bitch! I mean it is not like you were a buyer who promised to buy and never paid. But, what can you do. Like you said, Live and Learn. I had great luck at PS but I know others didn't. I think it is probably best to deal with the actual dealers. I mean I KNOW I will get my ALa and get her as soon as Shana can possibly get her out. So no worries. AND it is good to get things under control. I have actually stopped buying Barbie clothes every time I go to Walmart. In fact I haven't even gone to the toy isle the last few times I have gone there I hope the doll deal works out for you this time! My Natalie has no straining and only the wee littlest bit of butt melt. Her tummy pop is nowhere near as bad as Neora's Maybe it is her heavy dreaded hair but man is she a pain to stand up If the buyer is at all familiar with type 2's, and Nero's butt issues, she is probably prepared. It is nice that you are throwing in the wig and dress! I hope you have a great day! | |

| Thanks for the heads up on letting me know the negative feedback is there about the transaction. Hey, in those people's weird world it is perfectly ok to jack up the price of items beyond what the market value is and see if they can get away with it. So in their minds I am the one totally in the wrong. I really have no desire to get my blood pressure up by reading it and feeling all those emotions again. What is done is done. I knew that place was more about getting info on new dolls vs. really posting a lot of my photos or getting to know people. Now I will just lurk vs. post which is fine with me too. I can always post my photos at Flickr.
Yes, the gal over at Requiem is staying in close touch with me about the girls. I made the mistake of putting Caprice in a light blue minibarbie outfit and she looks so amazing. I will miss them both, but there is something very special about Caprice in person. Ali comes alive in front of the camera and never takes a bad shot. Caprice does'nt photograph all that well because of the dead eyes. We'll see what transpires. It is actually good to not care one way or the other if I sell them or not. I am not going to be buying another doll anyway.
Well, I better head on to work!

| I'm sorry to be the one who broke the news to you I just figured you had already checked since if it were me I would have checked. I really wish you could defend yourself there, but I guess it is better to let it go. I'm sorry the place didn't really work out for you, but honestly I didn't like the place from the get-go when they took my membership away right after they gave it to me and I had to have a discussion with the guy to get it back. I think they think they are "really special" over there I have hardly ever gone there and only to see your dolls or bring some pix here for Aerwin when you were in Italy. I'm glad to hear you are cool either way with the doll sale, but I am sad that this seller has ruined your desire for another doll to fit with your story at this time. I am sure the elf/witch idea you had was very cool and creative and I hope your desire for her comes back someday. For me I am glad to have learned a lot from your BJD experiences and have a pretty good idea what to expect if I ever went that route. I'm just not feeling it right now. I LOVE to look at yours and will greatly enjoy your future photos and stories, but I think I will just admire them from afar for now. I already have too much stress in my life right now and I don't need any foreign doll sellers to add to it Speaking of foreign doll sellers, as you know my experiences with Magma have all been excellent, but man there are some people at PS who HATE him Makes me think I shouldn't deal with him anymore for fear that one day I would have the problems they have had. But he sure is a good place to get nudes when you watch for his deals. TTYL~ | |

| I am so glad you broke the news to me and I thank you for doing it. It was so much better for me to get a warning before seeing it over there. I refuse to look at it though. It is better I just let it go and move on. The only way people are really going to see it is if I try to buy or sell anything there anyway-which is not going to happen now. 2 of the 4 transactions were kind of weird anyway which is not a good sign. I will be better off not doing any kind of business there anyway. It will still be a resource to watch market trends if I need to put any BJD stuff on Ebay if needed. I totally understand wanting to avoid the stress of getting into a whole new world of dolls-nevermind the increased costs. It has had it's stressfull and joyous moments for sure. There just seems to be less stress in the Pullip/Blythe/J-doll world. I just got the reality check I needed on grabbing at a good doll deal because of what I thought was a competitive price at the time, and I need to watch that tendency. I do that with other purchases I make sometimes as well. I can be an impulse buyer-and this time I got burned. I needed to be reminded of that lesson. Like I said, for now I am just done with the hassles of buying doll stuff for a while. I can and will get by with the things I have, and that will be good for me to see how long I can do it! | |

| Impulse buying is my middle name Seriously I have been bad at that a lot in my life. Yes, I truly am happy in my little Pullip/J-Doll world It's so easy, except I still never have enough of them At least you got a good deal with Pru and Mal and even though it was a little hairy getting Val he was so worth it! Honestly, if I ever did get into BJD world it would be one girl and one boy because I seriously cannot bring myself to spend that much for one naked bald doll! You are getting a lot of action today at Requiem! Of course I wanted to smack that one gal who thought you were asking too much for Caprice just because of the new lashes Jeez, $60 is a steal for her! If I didn't want to get ALa and Prunella I probably would have bought Caprice from you, but I have my heart set on those two girls. Anyway, I think you will have them both sold by the end of the week!! Then maybe you can buy some goodies for Pru and Val and Mal if you don't want to get your elf doll at this time! | |

| So I am getting action today over at Requiem? They must be coming out of the wood work over there or something~finally! That is kind of rude someone posting I am asking too much for Caprice! They should just keep it to themselves and step away from the thread if they are not interested sheesh! Or make a offer via PM if they are serious buyers!- The reason I priced her so high is that I really like the doll and will not just give her away. And no way would I part with her stock! People can always just go buy a new one if they are so inclined! I really would'nt mind keeping her and Ali both! | |

| She is $84.95 pre-shipping at PS (which is a really good price) She is $128 at Valley of the Dolls That is a big difference. PS is already out of Prunella. I guess I better order her when PS gets more in so that she is here for Mother's Day! You are welcome! You RAWK too!! ETA. Both PS and Scot want $128 for Prunella. She must be one of the special Anime deals or something. Otherwise I do not see why she is more the ALa or Uncan. Both of them have better stock than Prunella I think. | |

I do not blame you for holding firm on your price. She is in perfect condition and beautiful and pretty new. If I could find Prunella for $60 I would jump on her so fast!! Anyway, you have had multiple posters show interest in her so why should you lower your price?

| My thoughts exactly. And I am not desperate to get rid of her or Ali for that matter. That seems to be when things sell is when I am in that frame of mind. The price of Pullips is climbing. 128.00 + shipping is like 150.00! Which for a plastic doll seems really high. Granted, they are really nice dolls, but not worth that much IMO. I would be buying them nude for 60.00 too if I had continued to collect them! Now if they start selling them with acrylic eyes...I may get back into the game! You never know! But, those would probably go for 200.00! | |

| I agree. I do really love Prunella but she would be about $140 with shipping from PS and I just am not sure she is worth that. I adore her face but I can live without her stock and I would probably rewig her, so I will be on the look out for a nude. If she were $78 like ALa I would get her NRFB. I thought my Haute LA was worth it because she was different and so limited and a magazine cover girl! I have never regretted getting her at all. Be still my heart if they ever come with acrylic eyes!! If they can put them in their J-Dolls why not the Pullips/Taeyangs?? | |

| I know! If only they came with acrylic eyes or were like Blythes and had interchangeable ones, but acrylic ones! That would be hard to resist. I find the Pullips/Taeyangs with acrylic eyes just mezmerizing! I would love to keep Caprice and change out her eyes, but the thought of openning that head up and taking the eye mech out makes my stomach turn! I am not good with a tiny screwdriver at all! And my husband almost gave me a heart attack trying to help me with Elektra's rebody job! He had to get pretty agressive and just ruined her wig. It was so beautiful at first too. I don't think I ever fully got over that experience. She was never quite the same to me after that. And the volks body is just not made for the big Pullip heads. It was not worth it for the tad more poseability and bigger boobs. The hands were nice though.
Yes, Haute is indeed one of a kind! She is worth some big bucks now for sure! I bet she is worth 175-200 at least!!!!

| Damn! I've been trying to get my hands on a pair of Nomado's boots (since the only part of her stock that she was sent with were her pants and guitar) and I never was able to get them the very few times they showed up on PS. I check Requiem ALL the time. It's one of the last things I check before going to bed and one of the first in the morning. Wouldn't you just know someone puts them for sale while I am sleeping and they were sold I guess I should just put them as a request or something. I would sure like my two type 2's to have a few more footwear options | |

| The footwear options for boys are sure limited. Unless you get some nice stock ones, you are limited to athletic shoes and fugly Ken shoes. I have one pair of those leather GI Joe type boots and would have gotten more, but the seller no longer is on Ebay (Trishelle)-it really surprized me because she was so great to deal with. That is really too bad on the Nomado boots. I don't think I have ever seen any on the market. What did they go for? The nice shoes for BJD's can get expensive, but the nice shoes for Pullips like from Ixtee go for 12-20.00! It is insane. | |
