| Rob and I just got in from taking a ride. It was a gorgeous evening, so after we grilled some burgers and brats we went driving. Hopefully more people will check out your story and dolls over there. I love Mo and Thorn in their new wigs! Glad you had a nice ride with your baby! Here are the sets of mats I got. I love that they are thick and hard with the cork back. They stay in place and will wash up really nice. They look like tiles on our breakfast bar. I love them! Tuscan Poppy Morning I just found a site on-line that has some really awesome hard back placemats! I just ordered two sets from them - the first one in the second to last row and the first one it the last row. This site has them for half off of what we paid today at Bed Bath and Beyond - and more to choose from! These mats are so very pretty in person. http://www.happyaccents.com/cgi-local/ASI_Store.cgi?Dept+PlaceMats+++++cclink | |

| Those are really nice placemats! I think I must have the Tuscan Poppy ones for my kitchen! We don't have a BB and B store here though. Just a Linens and Things. *Sulks* I will have to look for some next time we go to Seattle. I do really need some new placemats before our company comes in August. The person you bought Mo's outfit from has another one that is really tempting me for Mo. It just looks too girly for a boy don't you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220253299691&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012 Yeah..most of the shoots I have posted over there have not gotten much response. No surprize really. The only one that got much notice was the Gump shoot. *shrugs* We are going up to the mountains today with reform school girl and Cole . Supposedly it is going to be in the mid 80's today. I am very sad that my horse ARdeo is not healing very well and still in quite a bit of pain. I hate to see him like this. He cannot walk normally, and last night we cleaned off the wound and it is warm and getting a dark pink color in one area. I think it is infected. I kept it bandaged for 6 days and the wound looked good, but it split back open and got dirty after taking the bandage off Wednesday. Needless to say, we will be taking him back to the vet on Monday... | |

| OH NO! I am so sad for your horsey I sure hope the doc can fix him up good tomorrow! The outfit is awesome! Way too girlie I think for a boy. But she makes her boy dolls look girlie too You will NOT be disappointed with the quality of her work. Milo's outfit is excellent! The time she must have spent on the sweater was worth her payment! I just don't get why you don't get more of a response at DOA. Your pix and stories are always excellent! Those hardback glossy placemats are so very pretty in person and look wonderful on the island. You will not be sorry. I knew you would like the Tuscan Poppies! Must bring back memories of your Italian trip! I cannot wait to get the ones I ordered last night. You can order them from B.B. and B's website. Yes, you have to pay shipping but that is cheaper than gas nowadays Enjoy your day in the mountains! I am doing housework and some re-arranging and organizing. On our ride last night we went to some new model homes and that always gets me thinking of ways to make our place look better! Justin is in the middle of redoing his room right now! We are just grilling these nice thick pork chops I bought yesterday for dinner today. Got some corn on the cob to grill too. So nothing exciting for us today. Justin works tonight. Eric is off and no doubt will take off right after we eat at 4:00 PM. It is rare for the 4 of us to all be in the house together anymore unless we are sleeping or having a good dinner TTYL! | |

| This site has gorgeous placemats! There is a set of 4 different scenes from Venice you might like. My faves are Tea on the Terrace, Tuscan Landscape, Village Square and Country Gardens. I like that you get 4 different scenes of all of those. They are a little more expensive than the others but I think they are worth it because you get 4 different ones and they are really beautiful! I grabbed the ones last night because of the good sale.

| Double eeks!! The JPOP wigs came today!!!! LOVE them! Well, needless to say, the minute I saw the carrot red ginger wig I KNEW it was going to go to Rylee with her green eyes instead of Shyla! And she looks awesome in it!! It totally changes her from sweet to siren! LOVE HER in it! Don't know how long she will stay in it because Nancie wrote me yesterday (all her out of state grand kids have now left) and she should have my Dorothy outfit done by the end of the week! So, either Shyla gets the black wig and she becomes Dorothy or Rylee will have to give up her fiery new persona We shall have to wait and see how it goes. I love this new wig on Milo! The style shows all of his sweet and beautiful face-up! All of his eyes, eyelashes and eyebrows finally show. The light color looks good on him too - at least I think so. Both wigs were well worth the good price I got them at! It is very gloomy and rainy today and is suppose to be tomorrow also. Weds. should be nice so maybe late afternoon when Eric and I are back from the neurologist and shopping I will try to get some shots of both of them in their new "hairdos"! | |

| Wow you got your wigs fast! Can't wait to see your crew in their new wigs! It really fascinates me how much a different wig changes the doll's personality. Just for kicks I put Willow's wig on Pru and holy wow she has morphed into yet another character..one that drove me to dress her in her Alice outfit and make Val look more Mad hatterish...but, that is another story. Good news! The wound is healing well per the vet, it just had more tissue damage than she thought so that is why it has gone through the bad stage, but now is on to the healing phase! I have been on a doll customizing frenzy the last 24 hours ! In addition to riding yesterday, I decided I would play around with drawing some eyebrows on Mal and the first one came out so cute I decided to keep going with it. Well, I added some more details to his face-up and now just replaced his lashes and he is really to get some photos taken when my batter recharges for a while. My second project involved making Pierot type black lines on both Val's eyes over the scar and a matching one that came out really cool when I drew them on, but when I tried to paint on some varnish, it did'nt look very good. So I removed what I had done, but in the process, his blush has come off and now I will have to redo parts of his face-up. I am not stressed about it though...I know hubby and I will pull off something cool! It has just turned into a bigger project than I initially envisioned. I am learning more and more about doing face-ups and customizing which I am turning out to really enjoy. All those placemats are really nice, but cost more than I want to spend on them. I will look at TJ Maxx and see what they have for cheap. I have found some really great stuff for the house there. Well, we are staining and putting up an Arbor today as our vacation project now that the horse appointment is done. Have a great day and TTYL! | |

| Oh, so happy to hear that your baby is doing better! You are such a good mom I don't have a clue what an arbor is - but have fun making one! The mats are costly but they are nothing like regular placemats. They are thick and hardback (wood and cork) and all glossy and look amazing on the counter/table/island. I don't think I will ever be able to get normal placemats again It's like I have artwork on the island! Love them! Yes, I do seem to get my JPOP wigs so fast! I am glad for that. Good sales and fast shipping! Got to love it! I love how easy it is to change their personas! That is one reason I don't have any need for another girl. I can make these 3 almost anything (anything money can buy that is ) and all I really would like is 2 more boys to have the 3 couples. That would just make me one happy lady! I am sure when I get Mo or Min I will get them nude. I have enough cool wigs and a couple of outfits so getting a nude would be cool with me. You are brave beyond belief to re-do Val's face-up! I could just NEVER mess with by BJDs! I would freak the hell out if I screwed up!! I mean seriously, I would probably cry and then throw-up BUT, I am dying to see new pix of Pru (I can't believe Willow's wig fits her) and Mal!! I so love that little piggy! TTYL - off to google "Arbor" ETA: OH!! So that is what those things are called! I just called them arched wooden thingies | |

| I tried to take some photos of Mal's new face details and none of them came out! Now that is a first! Ok, so I guess for special, thick cork mats 40.00 for a set is not too bad...I am weird about spending money on kitchen stuff for some reason! Go figure! I will spend on dolls and all the accessories and will sturggle with substandard kitchen items! I just broke down and bought a new knife set after using the crapiest set in the universe for years! Ok, Val's new face-up is going to be a show stopper!!!!! It is coming out even better than I could have hoped for! EeeK! Can't wait to show you tomorrow with some good light! Yes, ARdeo is doing better. but as soon as I take the bandage off the damned wound spilts open and starts draining goo and gets covered in dirt. Oy....this is going to be a long haul with this thing. | |

| The ones I got at BB&B were two in a package for $15 - so $30 for 4 of them. My mom was looking at their vinyl ones and they were $5 a piece (which I can't believe the vinyl and plastic mats are now that much ) so for just a few dollars more a piece you get a much sturdier and prettier mat. I got the two sets on-line for $14.99 for a set of 4 as they were on sale. Not as many to choose from in that price range, but I did like a lot of them very much! That seemed like a very fair price considering what BB&B wanted for the skimpy ones. Yes, I know how it is to spend more on the dollies than the practical stuff, but I soooo love my kitchen gadgets and cookbooks and things. I can never get enough kitchen gadgets. I just bought (used on Amazon) two cookbooks I've wanted for a few years. I get a lot of my cookbooks that way. I've been thinking about adding a panini press to my ever growing kitchen wish-list. I have a sandwich maker but I think the panini press would be cool to have! The boys and I love paninis. Cool getting the knives!! I got a new set a couple years ago - the kind in the wood block. It is far from the best set out there, but I really enjoy them along with my Pampered Chief knives. That is so sad that the wound keeps opening up and oozing. I would be freaking out about that oozing stuff. That always means infection in people so I would fear for my 4 legged babies. But if the vet says things are OK than I guess you just got to hang in there. Can't wait to see Val! And Mal! Well, it is late and I need to get to bed so nite nite sleep tight! | |

| Well, again the light is not working with me on the photos, but I did get a few good head shots of Val with his new and improved make-up. I took his wig off so you could really see his make-up, but those did'nt come out. I put together a kickin' outfit to show you, will try again later to finish the shoot and try to get some of Mal too. My photos do not come out if there is not enough light or there is too much. Hubby did the Pierot eye lines and I did all the rest. It was an absolute blast! This is what I wound up doing: removing all his blush, added smokey gray to eyes, added bright pink around eyes, added the Pierot eye details to cover the scar, made the lower scar smaller, enhanced his lip color to match the eyes. Reglossed it all and voila: Gotta go to my horse trainers to ride before it gets too hot! TTYL! | |

| WOW! That outfit is cool but yeah - that's a lot of $$ for it. Now that I have seen it can you delete the link because it is making the page scroll for me. Thanks! That is quite the persona Val has now! Glad your ride went so well! I don't care for crab but I will take some tuna in that avocado! | |
