| Yes Adam Brody does have a new movie coming out. He is so cute! And a good actor. LOVED him on The O.C.
I never got the Tom C. love like.at.all. I always liked Katie though. I really hope she is doing well.

| I was thinking "is that the Adam Brody from The OC?" That's one great picture of him.
I think I saw this thing where they were kidding around about how Tom Hanks' son probably thought he was going to be the next Tom Hanks, but it turns out it's Adam Brody.

| So here is an audio of Alec Baldwin leaving a phone message for his daughter, whom he appears not to be sure is 11 or 12...

| Yeah, Alec seems to be a bit of a dick. Such a messy divorce and custody battle. I don't know who leaked this recording but it sure is uncomfortable to be privy to something like this. Clearly this family needs a lot of professional help. I hope they get it now. I know there are some folks here who watch The Tudors, so they may be interested in this: Johnathan Ryhs Meyers enters rehab 1:47AM / 24.04.2007 - Quote :
- Jonathan Rhys Meyers, star of Showtime's The Tudors, has entered a rehab facility, his rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
"After a non-stop succession of filming Jonathan Rhys Meyers has entered an alcohol-treatment program," rep Meredith O'Sullivan says. "He felt a break was needed to maintain his recovery."
The 29-year-old actor, who costarred with Scarlett Johansson in Woody Allen's Match Point last year, portrays King Henry VIII in The Tudors, which premiered on April 1, and recently completed filming the drama August Rush with Keri Russell, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams.
Meyers' rep adds: "Jonathan plans to resume his schedule following completion." source: http://www.people.com/people/

| Ah man bummer about Jonathan Rhys. I really like him , he is terrific actor.
Yeah I guess Alec Baldwin is a dick, Too bad because he is really funny. But I think the whole family needs help. I'm sure Kim Basinger leaked the voicemail. I certainly have not resorted to calling my son names.

| Yep! If the doc from Grey's went because of the name he called his co-star, I bet you anything Alec will feel the pressure to use rehab as his way of saving face. I think clearly the man needs anger management. I have heard rumblings in the past of his temper. Other Baldwin boys have had several issues. Must be in the genes!
If Kim did leak the message to the press, that is pretty low. If it were me I would have made sure it was used in court though, as they have had a long struggle with custody. But, it is really ugly that such personal family issues are out there like this.

Alec will appear on "The View" I think on Friday. When it was announced, the whole audience booed. Apparently he called Rosie personally. So, he's taking it to the court of public opinion. We'll see how this goes.

| Well, I have always known Alec Baldwin was on the edge, a loose canon, a narcissist, and one hellava fine actor. He is also quite well spoken, and intelligent to boot- so his appearance on the View could be quite interesting.
IMO neither he or Kim Basinger are coming from emotionally healthy places with their prolonged, dramatic, and painful custody battle.

| Luca, I honestly could not have described Alec better. That is the most accurate description I've ever seen.
There was this documentary a while back about anxiety and Kim was one of the people suffering. She was really honest about it. It severely affected her life. I suppose he could throw that up in her face if he wanted, but I think the whole "violent" thing wins out over "anxiety-ridden".

| Yeah, I can't think it would be no great shakes to be their child.
My friend likes to sing karaoke and one night she sang and this beautiful woman came and sat down and told her how great she was and when she left, her friend informed her it was Kim Basinger. My friend, who knows nothing about celebrities, had no idea, but thought she was the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen. No make up.

Why thank you Green Eyez! *curtsies* I have always found Alec an interesting character despite his obvious character flaws. I remember that special about Kim and her anxiety disorder. I kinda felt bad for her, but wonder how and why she chose acting as her profession considering she has these issues. Seems like a prescription for disaster to me. I think Frazzle starred in a movie with Kim when she was at her all time peak of beauty, and mentions that she "glowed" or something like that. ITA with you, I would not want to be their kid, except in the looks department maybe...

| Well, a few reasons she may have chosen acting.
1. to try to get over her anxiety
2. She might have gotten the anxiety AFTER she started acting (like Carly Simon with stage fright)
3. The anxiety doesn't have to do with acting. Many times with anxiety there are certain triggers.
Sometimes it starts out and you think it's nothing, and then the more you avoid the situation that brings you the anxiety, the worse it gets, until your world gets smaller and smaller.
So, maybe the acting gets her OUT of the anxiety and isn't her trigger.

| I didn't exactly star in the movie with kim. In fact as the final cut revealed, both I and Jesus Christ Superstar, Ted Neely, hardly appear at all.
But Kim was, close up, the most golden beautiful thing (like a golden statue) I had ever seen.
But she was a very strange, and not in a good way, human. She may chalk it up to anxiety, but upon noticing her nose leaking blood right above my head (she is tall, plus she had big boots) and she was NOT happy when I tried to discreetly point it out to her...I concluded she, llike her co-star, Jan Michael Vincent, had a major drug problem.
She really was weird. Sitting in a makeup chair next to her at 6 am she was weird. Like a statue, and the makeup guy was her boyfriend, later husband, and she was fucking weird.
That said, I was pals with Alec Baldwin's roomate when he met Kim a few years after the movie I did. Alec was going nuts because he was in love with a beautiful lunatic. Who thew things and pulled knives on him. That was Kim.
I believe it.
I also believe Alec is a violent nut case. both of them.

I also believe Alec is a violent nut case. both of them. I suspected as much. The chemistry between the two of them in the heyday of their lust was just electric. Everyone could see it. Their relationship lasted longer than most Hollywood hook-ups so I believe they really did love each other deeply in their nutty kind of way. Now they can use each other's eccentricities and issues against each other to manipulate their daughter. Ewwwwwwww, is all I can say about that one.

| Wow. So I guess Alec's lunacy is just more overt. Kim has learned to hide it. The fact that she's beautiful and, like you said "a statue" she gives off the vibe of someone who is very calm. Interesting. | |

| Sandra Bullock is still a part-time Austin resident, (although I've never actually seen her) and in fact just opened a restaurant here, so I tend to read stuff about her.
This could happen to any celebrity and I'm surprised it doesn't happen more. How can you tell when extreme fangirliness has turned into stalkerish behavior?
"An obsessed fan tried to run over the husband of Sandra Bullock in an attack at the couple's home in California, police said Thursday.
Police told AFP that a woman, Marcia Valentine, attempted to mow down Jesse James during the incident at the couple's home.
TMZ.com celebrity website reported that the attack took place as Bullock and James' 10-year-old son Jesse Jr looked on.
A spokesman for Orange County police south of Los Angeles confirmed to AFP that the incident occurred after Valentine was discovered lying on the driveway of the couple's home.
"Mr James found the suspect, Marcia Valentine, lying on their driveway," officer Jim Amormino said.
"He asked her to leave, but instead she got into her car and tried to run him over three to four times. We are treating it as assault with a deadly weapon."
Valentine was arrested early Monday and was released on Tuesday after posting bail of 25,000 dollars. She is due to appear in court on May 22.
A spokeswoman for Bullock, 42, confirmed the incident.
"Both Jesse James and Sandra Bullock are fine and it is now in the hands of the authorities," Cheryl Maisel told People.
Bullock, the star of "Speed," "Miss Congeniality" and last year's best picture Oscar-winner "Crash" has suffered problems with stalkers in the past.
In 2006 she won a three-year restraining order against a man she has accused of stalking her across three US states."

| She is one of my favorite actresses. She's managed to stay out of the whole paparazzi-hollywood thing. I've always said that if you really don't want the paparazzi in your face, stop going to "The Ivy" and shopping on Rodeo and Melrose.
I'm glad he's OK and that they caught the crazy woman. At least she'll probably go to jaiil as opposed to having a mere restraining order, which really doesn't stop the crazies.

| OK, after reading about countless skeevy encounters with the skeevy GB, it's nice to be in a fandom where this is consistently what you hear about him:
YEAH SO. I got out of class early tonight, and driving home, I decided I wanted some wine. Like, wine would be nice tonight. So I stopped at Ralph's by my house, and I take ONE STEP inside the store, and Sandy and Jared are standing DIRECTLY in front of me. !!!!
To be honest, I noticed Sandy first. I was like "huh, she looks familiar . . . " and then my eyes slid past her to Jared, and I was like "OH. OKAY." And I didn't stop walking or stare, I just looked past them and casually walked down the aisle one over from them and dug out my phone and called a_karls in a quiet flurry. (And I'll be honest, the FIRST thing I thought was "oh, I should tell Sandy that I work with her roommate!" and then my next thought was "no, no, no, I really shouldn't say that at all." Because there's NO cool way to say that. Like, none whatsoever.)
Well, I had to get what I came in for! So I got my shampoo and my face wash and my bottle of wine, and I was like "okay, I can say hi, I can be cool, yes I can!" Jared was pushing the shopping cart, leaning over the handles and chatting with Sandy, and he pushed the cart past a table full of stuffed teddy bears, and he reached out and pooched one in the stomach (awww!), and they turned down the frozen food aisle.
I waited one second and walked after them, my arms full of shampoo and face wash and wine. Sandy saw me coming, and she obviously knew what I was going to do, so I smiled and shrugged apologetically at her, and she smiled back. Jared was talking to her, but when he saw me coming, he stopped and sort of raised his eyebrows at me. I wasn't walking up creepily, I just walked up, he was just curious as to why I was walking up. I was super low-key!
me: Hi, um. I'm sorry, I just wanted to tell you that I really love your show.
Jared: Oh, hey, thanks! Thanks very much!
me: Yeah.
Jared: Oh, hey, I'm Jared.
me: I . . I know.
Jared: And you are?
me: Oh, I'm Jessa.
Jared: Oh, Jessa, hey, well, thanks a lot, Jessa, I really appreciate that!
me: Okay, well, you guys have a good night.
Jared: Thanks, you too!
me: [turns to walk away]
Jared: Hey, enjoy the wine!
me: [dying] I will, thanks!
Jesus GOD, I paid and got out of there, shaking like a fucking leaf, and called everyone I had ever met EVER. He looked amazing! He was all scruffy in jeans and a long-sleeve white t-shirt, and she was so little and pretty, and holy SHIT, that was SO FUCKING COOL! And I think he really appreciated that I was so low-key - and I was, I was really low-key, I wasn't even quietly flipping out at him. HOLY GOD, YOU GUYS! THAT WAS SO RANDOM AND COOL, I CAN'T DEAL! By far the coolest celebrity encounter I've ever had, easily. \o/
