| I figure we might as well surrender and just have a topic (if we already have one, I can't find it).
Madonna (I will try to find before and afters) seems to have done a spectacular job recently...got rid of the beginnings of a jowl droop, only exactly as much as needed. She also got good botox.
Although she is not one of the delicate fine-featured ones, the jaw deal was perfectly done, and finely done, and the droop was veery specific..I would have thought hard to fix (I promise to find pix..just not tonight)..

| I am also very interested in seeing the marvels and mishaps of plastic surgery. Man, it must take some guts to trust someone with your face. Especially if you want some major work done. I would not hesitate to have injectibles, but when it comes to cutting me and putting me under...that is when I turn to pure chicken. And I don't have the extra money to spend on jowl lifts and the like. But, believe me if my eyelids start sagging and make me look tired all the time...I will have that fixed. I think that makes a major difference in someone's appearance without making them look like a charicature. I'd love to see Madonna's after. She obviously must have the best surgeon money can buy and is making sensible decisions (so far) on how much she is having done to help her age a little more gracefully. Her face was very angular to begin with, and without the body fat to help fill up the face she looked hard and sunken in. Will somebody do me a favor and tell me what in the name of Gawd Lisa Rinna had done to her lips way back when? She always looked this way-even when she was young and it is so obviously not natural nor does it look good...It seems to be more than collagen too. | |

| Well, Harry Hamilin was in a theater group of mine, and he had natural lips that kinda stood out freakishly..so I assume Lisa wanted to match his. That hers are so outrageous makes me think she had a fat graft from her butt or something into her lips. Something permanent.
I am too tire dto find the Madona pics tonight..but there is one from someplace relatively recently where she does have the doop on her angularness, and most specifically the regrettable 9 (I share it) thing that droops right in the middle of the formerly firm jaw thing. ANd then in the past couple of weeks, that jaw thing is gone, plus the botox forhed. She never had the upper eye droop, though.
p.s. If you have natural 'bedroom eyes" meaning young puffy lids, once they start to become ridicululouslt puffy, it seems to be that your choices are Wayne Newton or...those dead eyes things. PROVE ME WRONG!!!

| Frazz, 'cause I love ya, I went huntin' for Madonna pictures. OK, here's a pic without make-up, before plastic surgery, at a site that obviously hates her: Here's one without make-up that is probably post-surgery All made up with Guy Ritchie Now for Lisa Rinna. I always remember her having large lips (like Angelina Jolie). It wasn't like the WORST lip offender of all time: Melanie Griffith, who had very thin lips and now they're taking over her face. This is from 1998 (based on the date on the cover) I think...1996 This site talks about the freakish growth of the lips. | |

| OK, that last post was so long, I had to break it into two. There's actually a SITE called www.awfulplasticsurgery.com! This is the "bad collagen in lips" portion. FC, please don't freak out! As you scroll down, you'll see Clay on there and they're not kind, but this isn't a site where they're kind, so breathe slowly! They have examples of everyone we've mentioned here. Now onto one that really got to me. I watch the show "Vegas". There's a star in the show named Nikki Cox. This is what Nikki Cox looked like when she started on the show: Real pretty girl, right? Here's what she looked like in the last season: Honestly, I was so distracted by the lips and the eyes and the anorexia and the fake boobs that I couldn't hear anything that was coming out of her mouth. | |

| HaHa, I follow Clay closely and trust me he has never had any lip injections He doesn't even look like he has plump lips in the pic they used That pic is from the 2006 Joyful Noise Christmas Tour. He was very sick and wore glasses for about 6 shows while he dealt with the infection and vertigo. He talked about it. I think the "foundation" is called stage make-up since he was, you know, on stage Gotta love these sites who try so hard to rip him any way they can Anyway, if they had used a pic that showed any sign of plumper lips I might wonder - but honestly his lips look fuller in the before picture As far as all those other pix and people I just have to ask - why in the world would they do that to themselves? Some of it is just so drastic they don't even look normal, like they have been in fires or something. Nikki Cox soooo never needed anything done. If she had her boobs done she had them done a long time ago because she was on General Hospital when she was about 14 and had major tatas back then! I cannot even believe that is Madonna in that one before pic. It doesn't look like her at all She is younger than me and looks much older! It must have been all that sex - for her that is, not me! | |

| I don't think Nikki had her breasts done a long time ago, or if she did, she got them bigger. Look at the difference in the before and after! Also, oddly enough, while I was posting this they actually had a re-run of Vegas from the first season and her breasts looked plump and healthy and real. Like even on the side where they bunch up under the armpit (if you'll pardon my graphicness, but you know what I mean.)
It is really sad to see what these stars do to make themselves more "beautiful".
I agree about Madonna. That was hideous. I don't know what happened in that first photo.

| My first visit to this thread. It's very interesting. Nikki Cox was removed from Vegas last year. I know she got married but I haven't heard much of her since.
These lips are amazing. I'd like to give it a try on mine sometimes, but I'd probably end up botched.

| Nikki got married to Jay Mohr, the comedian/actor.
Oddly enough, when I was looking for pictures and typed in "nikki cox + plastic surgery" I found out she was supposed to be in a show called "FUGLY" they promoted last year. At first I thought this was a joke, especially considering the subject matter, but it was on TV.com and they're not a jokey site.
Pilots: Cox Gets 'Fugly' for CBS Nikki CoxNikki Cox is ready to go under the knife for CBS' plastic surgery comedy pilot "Fugly."
"Fugly" comes from "My Name Is Earl" creator Greg Garcia and focuses on three siblings -- identical twin girls and a brother -- who pool their resources to get one plastic surgery for one of the girls (Cox). The family then heads off to Hollywood to turn her new-found good looks into cash. Marissa Jaret Winokur will play the unaugmented sibling. But wait, you might be thinking, Nikki Cox and Marissa Jaret Winokur don't look anything like siblings. Expect that to be the subject of much mirth

| I can't understand the lip surgeries either..........geesh.....why lips? If I had anything done it would be my eyelids, but that's out because of expense and I'd be too chicken! Years ago I would have said tummy tuck, but why bother now. | |

| That first one of Madonna reminds me of the wicked witch of the West! Her face really was'nt that saggy, but her eye wrinkles were definitely prominent. Those last few of her look great though. She still looks 39-40 which is great, just a really, really great 39-40! Yeah I know she is like 49. Whatever she did definitely took 10 years off at least. I wonder what they can do for that chicken gizzard loose skin right under the chin that starts showing up...Firming lotions help, but I can see that that will not be effective for long. LOL Frazz! I bet you are right about Lisa Rinna having her Butt fat injected or permanently tacked on to her lips....that is exactly what it looks like! | |

| I think they do face lifts on the sides of the face under the ears for that area under the chin that develops. Guess that's all part of the beauty of aging!! | |

This site has a plastic surgeon saying what he thinks she got done.
Click on the "Dr. Jiffy Lube" link as well. VERY interesting!

| Priscilla does look like she got jiffy lubed by someone that did'nt know what they were doing. But, if she got the silicone injections way back when and it has caused permanent damage...maybe that is all even the best of best can do for her. But those Joker lips..... and the eye brows that almost go to her hairline...really nasty. WTF would she ever mess with her perfect nose???????? This woman was obviously very beautiful with fantastic facial features...I bet she would have been an equally stunning Grandmother with just a tad of injectables, peels, and maybe a minor eye lift. Hey, maybe even a major face-lift like Julie Christie got...Now that woman looks fabulous! Yeah, you can tell she has had work, but it does'nt distract from her beauty...it enhances it. Although I think she would have looked great with just some minor things done. When you are that beautiful to begin with, you just need tooth veneers, injectibles and maybe an eye lift to keep looking fresh and not tired. Then and 2007(before most recent plastic surgery): She is 66 now, maybe she has gone a little too far now, nothing like Priscilla, but she really needs to stop now before she crosses the line into : [/img] | |

Susan Sarandon did too.

Priscilla was on ET tonight. They had the story of her getting the silicon injections and they said the same thing as in that blog GE posted. It happened a few years ago according to their report.

| Ok, so I am no longer a virgin to more agressive, non-surgical procedures. I have found a marvelous esthetician who charges rock-bottom prices, but delivers excellent results. I have had microdermabrasion, mild chemical peels, and the like and have been pleased with the results. I don't have tons of wrinkles, mainly discolorations, spider veins, and am starting to lose some elasticity and tone. I am told I look much younger than my given age occasionally, and that motivates me to try and maintain it for a while longer, if I can while staying within my budget. Today I had my first real chemical peel. My face is bright lobster red, which I expected. I still have a slight burning sensation and my face feels tight. I have been told it will feel prickly when you touch your face for a few days. Supposedly I will not be all that red tomorrow, but will start majorly peeling by Sunday or Monday. Will keep you posted. ETA: My husband about fell over when he saw my face when I came home! | |

| Oh Goodness Luca!! I had no idea you were doing things like that!! I am way too chicken to get anything done People tell me all the time I look like I'm in my 30s so I am putting off doing anything until I feel I really have to. But, I am glad it is working out for you. Yes, I've heard the first few days are not quite normal, but I bet by Monday you look amazing!! | |

| I have always had occassional professional facials on and off since I was in my twenties, when I could afford it. I have always put taking really good care of my skin as a priority, probably because I was prone to breakouts with my super oily skin and my early issue with broken capillaries around my nose that require treatment by a dermatologist or esthetician every 5 years or so. I have always spent a good chuck of money on good skin care products too.
I got turned on to the results of regular treatments with an esthetician by observing a nurse I work with who had severe sun damage and premature aging get miraculous results with going to this gal every 6 weeks for microdermabrasion and chemical peels. I really was blown away when I found out I could get the works for 40.00 when other places that offer the same services through a plastic surgery center or dermatologist charge hundreds. I figured hell, for that price sign me up!!!!!
