This is a really hard choice indeed! But, after doing some research into Dexter....I have to go with that! I love Michael C. Hall and the show really does sound fascinating!

Eeeek! I am so excited! So how many episodes have I missed of season 2? I will sign up for Showtime this week! cheers

I will be watching the Tudors and Jonathan baybee...we will have to start a thread for that too so we can drool together! I think Aerwin and maybe Sky likes it too!

Aerwin is the biggest Tudor fan on the planet. LOVEE@!@!!!!! I guess you know I am a complete anglophile and even worse a Tudorphile. I read and watch anything and everything about them.

I swear Dexter is the best show on tv right now. Did you read Michael C. Hall is dating the actress who plays his sister?
I can't wait for the recap!

Maybe you should start a Tudors recap thread since a few more of us will be watching with you! Plus, it sounds like you would have some great asides to share about the history and how the production stacks up. How many episodes have there been so far this season?

I also can't wait for the Dexter recaps...no pressure GE! Laughing
I plan to order Showtime today. Very Happy

Yay Luca! Dexter is a good choice. I will recap the pilot episode.

I would watch S1 before even thinking about watching S2, because it really sets up who and what he is and a lot of stuff happens in S1. TONS! They even wrap up the main story.

I have all the "On Demands" so I can watch them anytime I want. I highly recommend getting the "on demands". If not, pick up the first season on DVD.

As for MCH dating the chick who plays his sister, that is HYSTERICAL. She's like 7 feet tall and while I think MCH is incredibly hot, he's not exactly ummm...very tall.

I will get the DVD I think...I'm not familiar with the "on demand" deal.

There is an amazon that plays Dexter's sister eh? Must see...must see!

Here's the article:

Quote :
Michael C. Hall plays the nicest crime-solving serial killer you ever met on the hit show Dexter, while Jennifer Carpenter costars as his detective sister with a Daddy complex. But the on-set siblings share an even closer bond when the cameras are off: The pair are dating, sources tell PEOPLE.

"I don't see what the big deal is," says a source close to the couple. "They play brother and sister on the show, but they are actors, after all."

Hall and Carpenter were spotted dining at the Sunset Tower Hotel last week following the news that Dexter had nabbed a prestigious Peabody award. "It was romantic," says an observer of their back-of-the-restaurant dinner. "They were drinking champagne and there was the clinking of glasses. They were clearly celebrating."

But on the set, it's back to business says a Dexter source: "Michael and Jennifer really enjoy working together, but they are always very professional on set," says the source. "But, no question, they are having fun."

Reps for Hall and Carpenter had no comment.

Netflix is a mail-order video store. You pay a monthly fee, order whatever movies you want, and return them whenever you want. You could keep the movie for three months and as long as you pay the monthly fee, you can keep it.

Go to netflix.com and you'll see!

Oh good Lord Netflix is a godsend to me especially living in a rural area, I can get any movie or tv show I want and keep it as long as I want. Plus no driving to the video store. Put it in the mail. We watched Dexter that way.
