| Sounds like the process is moving along nice and quickly, Luca. I was just curious, is there any pain you're having during this like when you have to cleanse your face? | |

| If I wore as little make-up as possible when I am working the kids would go running into the streets screaming!! I am a fair skinned blue eyed blonde with light eyelashes. I have the brown freckling thing going on too! Lordy, foundation is my friend!! Now, I won't lie, I would KILL to be somebody who didn't need foundation! I love playing around with eye make-up, but I have a love/hate relationship with foundation | |

| Ba- HA! You know how white Tilda Swinton is with her blonde eye brows ? That is me. I have to color in my brows .They are blonde. There is no hope of my ever being tan. So yeah make up is my friend. | |

| Oh I will never give up make-up either don't get me wrong! My skin will never be even toned enough to not have to use foundation to blend it all, but I do like the idea of using less and of looking more even. Even us dark haired gals start losing our eyebrows when the hormone changes kick in...one of mine is much sparser than the other so I have to enhance it to make it look right. - Lau wrote:

It was a little sensitive when I touched it the first night. It felt really weird like a mild electrical prickly feeling when I touched it or something, but that was pretty much gone by the second day.

| Yeah...I am pretty happy about how fast I am getting back to baseline or better! I don't think this is as deep a chemical peel as they go... I have seen some after photos that are quite scary for the major ones. I know the gal that did asked me when I was going back to work and I think she used that as a partial guage as to how long she left the stuff on me.
I am curious how what I had compares to some of the over the counter peels you can get from Olay and some of the other cosmetic companies. Has anyone tried any of those yet?

| I didn't even know Olay had a chemical peel OTC. I will have to read some reviews on them. | |

| All of a sudden I saw the word "bruxism" which I think is teeth grinding which I do really really well. I must have some crap going on when I sleep, because my mouth guard is ground to bits. If I take a nap I feel it in my jaw when I wake up. My mom says I talk in my sleep. I also sleepwalked when I was a kid and have had night terrors. Geez, and here I thought I was just peacefully drifting off to sleep.
Topic? I have had plastic surgery and am very happy I did it.
I have a mild case of rosacea and am afraid to do anything for it that might make it worse, since I cover it up with make-up so well, people think my skin is flawless.
I am pale with blonde hair and green eyes. When I don't wear make-up, my face disappears. Sometimes in pictures I'm just eyes and lips if the flash is very bright.

He also has had night terrors...I wonder if it is some kind of brain chemical imbalance or neuron misfiring that causes the terrors and the bruxism...it is some nasty shit because it affects sleep quality. Maybe it is a common malady of really creative, smart people.

Well? What kind? Did it hurt? I've not tried any OTC chemical peels. Olay stuff usually breaks me out. But I think neutrogena has one too.

| Your cheeks were swollen? I have to hand it to, I don't think I could this. Just the thought and the wording of 'chemical peel' is scary to me. | |

| Sky, the cheek swelling was very, very mild. I don't think anyone but me could even notice it-even on the first day. It seems to be almost gone completely now. | |

| If I has many millions, I would just ask Madonna and Susan Sarandon who lifted their jowls.
I would hire an entire team of cooks, house cleaners, personal trainers, nurses, etc. and after I lost significant weight, I'd ask Cher who lifted her boobs after childbirth. (I would not want any other of Cher's body parts, but the boobies look great, and if I lost weight mine would be like shriveled long stockings.
But I do not have millions,. So I better stay fat. Keep the boobies up.

| You crack me up Fraz! I have'nt seen Susan Sarandon since she had her jowels done...she must look fab though if you would use her plastic surgeon! I think there are benefits to having more fat in the face as well as in the boobs. People who are too thin when they get to a certain age sometimes have that sunken in angular look that is not very becomming, or if there has been a major weight loss it can leave the face looking saggy. | |

| Susan Sarandon had the jowls done after Thelma and Louise. She looks beautiful but real (and with jowls) in that movie, but not taut. She got taut after that. | |

| I'd still love to see what I would look like with 30 pounds off! Wrinkles or not. Fraz, that was one funny post you did above about if you had millions.... I'm afraid if I had millions, I'd gain even more weight as I would be inclined to try every great restaurant I've ever read about. | |

| I'm not sure........is there any plastic surgery they could do to give me better looking knees? I've always hated my knees. There is just way too much I'd want to have done. Love to get my eyes done though. | |

| Hmmmm...no more bets? I was going to do a contest with prizes and everything!
Frazz, you are right about Madonna and Sarandon. I like it when the person just looks "refreshed". My aunt recently lost a ton of weight and then got the surgery and she looks really good. She didn't try to make herself look twenty, so her face looks natural and, like I said, refreshed.
Another relative is just way too skinny and she looks positively gaunt.
I would probably not travel that much, as I'm not fond of airplanes. I just want to live in my dream house and not worry about money. Go shopping without looking at the price tag. Yeah, I'd probably do plastic surgery upkeep.
So, any more guesses? | |
