Yeah, well, after six years of some real doozies on American Idol, I've kinda gotten to the point where I can't be stunned by this anymore. I did think that one of two of the other women were going instead. Oh well.

Oh agree. It is so hard to figure out what the public goes for sometime. I do think you are right about the vote split. It's just kinda sad because the poor kid really worked her butt off and wanted it big time, and clearly a better dancer than most. Of course she is a pro dancer and choreographer and maybe some people felt that was a little unfair. Or like what happens on AI sometimes, people just were sure she was safe since so many thought she was a shoe in for the finale. I just feel really bad for her It had to come as such a shock. It actually took me back to Black Weds.

Well, it just seems that in this kind of show, the vote is influenced by a whole bunch of stuff:

If you faint, you might get the sympathy vote.(Marie)
If you've been in the bottom two recently, and you didn't deserve to be there, you've got a vigilant fan base. (Jane and Mel)
If guys are in short supply, some folks might vote for balance. (This may have saved Cameron.)
If you have another person in the mix who has the same kind of appeal you do, you two will be duking it out for the same votes until one of you loses. (Jenny)

Ack! Marie can't handle the physical pressure, Jane is really sick and it's Sabrina that goes home!

Jane has sure had some tough issues to face since being on the show. Her mom's death, the fires at her home and now illness. I like her a lot too Aerwin, but she probably would have been my pick to go home. She is lovely in the very slow dances, but very stiff and boring in the uptempo numbers. She is indeed a very lovely and classy woman. She seems very nice too. Still, Jane or Cameron were on my list to go. Cameron more so because he leaves me cold for some reason. He has a large soap fanbase which is probably helping him though. True, Marie isn't the best dancer, but she has so much charisma and humor and I think she adds a lot of joy to the season. No, she doesn't deserve to win, but I'd like her to stay for awhile longer simply because she makes the show more entertaining. I am completely indifferent when it comes to Mel C. She doesn't excite me at all. I do enjoy her partner though!!! So for that reason I hope she goes far! Helio and Julianne and Jenny and Derek are my faves. They would be my pick for top two. Helio is just a delight! I have always loved Jenny Garth. She is sweet and lovely and talented. She is a great mom to her girls and a good role model for young people. Her dance this week was wonderful. Sad for Sabrina if Jenny was the reason for her going home, but if I had to pick between the two I'd go with Jenny. Still, Sabrina deserved to outlast Cameron, Jane and Marie - if only going for dancing talent, but I do not think the majority of voters go just by that. I don't vote for this show, but if I did I would be voting for Helio and Jenny and I can say with all honesty that my votes would not be based solely on their dancing. I just really like "them"! I am really enjoying the show this season, but I have come to accept this show is very much a popularity contest.

Who do you think will go tonight? I think it will be Jenny or Cameron. I think Marie's fans will have voted big time this week. She sure did amazing when you consider what all she has been through this past week. I would like to see Jenny make final 3 just because she is such a sweetie, cutie and has come the farthest in her skills.

When I first read the list of celebs I didn't think this would be a very good season, but it has been wonderful!

Wow! Everyone was sooo good tonight! I am going to cry no matter who goes home tomorrow. I guess my least fave of the celebs is Mel, but I sure like her partner! I am still going with Helio for the win - but I will be happy if it is Jenny or Marie too. Such sweet, fun and adorable ladies. I sure wouldn't mind seeing the gorgeous siblings in the top two!!

What do you ladies think? Who do you think will go home tomorrow?

I am looking forward to seeing Michael Flatly (sp?) dance tomorrow. I loved Lord of the Dance!!

I want Mel and Maksim and Helio and Julianne for the final two. I love Mel B's humor and the interaction between her and Mel, especially on the dance floor is magic. Julianne....she is amazing, simply amazing and has taught Helio very well. Maksim..........he is so totally hot that I have a hard time watching Mel dance. Their Latin dance tonight was sizzling and so was Julianne and Helio's.

Well, we are having some strange issue with our cable. We have internet (thank god) but no TV. I cannot believe that I cannot see DWTS tonight My mom called and held the phone up to the TV so that I could "hear" Michael Flatly dance. She knows I love him. The cable company has no clue at this point. They say they may get out to our house some time tomorrow or Friday No one else around has any problems. Just lucky us.

My mom is going to call me after the show and let me know who got let go. I am praying that someone puts Michael's dance on You Tube. If anyone finds it will you let me know? Assuming anyone is even coming here anymore. This place is dead. Not that I don't know why Thank god Luca will be here soon!!

Thank you SO MUCH!! I wondered if they would put it on their website!! I will watch it later today! I will have tissues ready for the end! I know the celeb who went home wanted to win really bad. But then I guess they always do!

I just got to watch it! Wonderful show last night! That Michael Flatly just amazes me! I so love that type of dancing. It gives me goosebumps! I really enjoyed Advril too. She is such a little doll and I really enjoy her music.

I agree with Len. The "best dancers" should be in the final. But for me the best dancers have not always won. For me the season of Emmett and Mario proved that. Marie probably is the one who should have gone last night if the voting were strictly on the dancing. But like AI, a lot of the voting is based on who people enjoy the most for their personality and charisma. The Osmonds are very loved in this country and of course how Marie has handled all her personal tragedies - with grace and humor and warmth. She is very entertaining and endearing. That goes a long with voters. I think Helio will win, but it wouldn't surprise me if Marie came in second over Mel.

Whatever happens next week, all I can say is I have really enjoyed this season and if Helio wins that will be wonderful. If Marie wins I will be very happy for her on a personal level. If Mel wins I will be very happy for Max!! Nothing against Mel's talent, but while her personality is pleasant and I am sure she is very nice, when dancing she just doesn't really enchant me. She is technically perfect, but I just don't find myself smiling when I watch her like I do the others. I wish it was Jenny and Derek going into the final instead of Mel, but that is the way competitions goes. At least Jenny and Derek had a great run and since they will be back along with everyone else for the finale they really didn't get sent packing!

I like your attitude FC. Personally, I'd like Mel and Maksim to win. I don't agree with many people that she doesn't belong there because she is a professional dancer because of the Spice Girls dance routines. Unless someone has had training before the show started, in Ballroom dancing...........I don't think there is an advantage. It wouldn't surprise me at all if some contestants take a few lessons even before the show starts to have an advantage. Mel has struggled through her learning the dances, just as any of the others have. Granted some 'grasp' the dance and some don't......some feel comfortable dancing in front of the cameras and some don't. Yes, I think Jenny danced better than Marie.

We have to remember this show, like any reality show is put on for entertainment. Until the judging and voting is done solely by judges experienced to judge Ballroom dancing, the public will always vote for who they 'like', not who is necessarily the best dancer. The reality type shows are made for entertainment and will be edited and produced to get the most entertainment factor out of the show. I don't agree with voting from multiple emails, phones or any other means to get the results a certain person or group wants, but that is what happens. It's not surprising that some stay in the competition much longer than more deserving people.

I loved the Flatley dance routine too. I thought Sabrina's dance sucked. It was not graceful, but it was very athletic, which isn't what Ballroom dancing is all about.

HaHa, I didn't mention Sabrina because I didn't want to be mean about the kid - but I agree, she was not pleasant to watch at all. I don't know why, all I know is when watching her performance I thought to myself "gee, I think I know why you left when you did" I just didn't feel any joy from her routine. I do like her partner/boyfriend though! He was fun to watch.

I do think people like Mel and Joey Fatone have some advantage because they are used to the training and memorizing a routine. The timing etc. and just more comfortable dancing/performing on stage compared to someone like Jenny who never danced or performed on stage for people. Not saying that it wasn't still difficult for Mel to learn ballroom etc., but I do think she and Sabrina had a bit of an edge over people like Jenny, Cameron etc. Not that it helped Sabrina get all that far.
