That's good! My boys know to call every few hours when they are out to give me an update of where they are and where they are headed. They usually call to say they are on their way home so I know to look for them. I just don't think grounding Justin is going to get him to stop smoking

Luca, I found the absolute CUTEST re-ment on Flickr last night, so when I got home today I was determined to find it and I did! I am going to have a lot of fun with this cute little things! I am not going to be able to change their clothes very much, so I guess I will have fun changing what they are holding and eating!

My poor dad It was just awful today. He is just so out of it. Some of the time he thought I was my mom. Just one word answers. Never really opened his eyes. He tried to. Just little slits though. I don't think he can even try to focus on anything. A few teeth have fallen out. His few words are slurred. His hair is mostly gone. His arms and hands are so swollen from the edema and his whole abdomen is HUGE from it. Some urine overnight, not much. His blood sugar was very high though - 415 shortly after I got there. I got a little pineapple juice and applesauce in him. Goodness, I just do not know how he is hanging on

Have the hospice nurses suggested stopping all his meds other than pain meds and letting nature take it's course? At this stage of the process checking blood sugars seems like a moot point since you know all his organs are failing now and there is no treatment for that...

No, the Hospice nurses have never suggested that. Besides, my Dad could tell his blood sugar was up and asked for his insulin. He just knows. We would never tell him he couldn't have it when he asked for it. Just no way. He pretty much always knew when his blood sugar was too high and too low. He does not seem to be in any pain. He told me he wasn't. Pain has never been an issue except when his scrotum was infected and some discomfort when he couldn't go. I think emotionally he is in pain. He asked my Mom yesterday "Why is God doing this to me?" It was pretty much all he said to her.

You know, most of the last 3 months have been sad for him, but for Mom and Me a lot of him was still with us. Today was just horribly sad. I know he knows what is going on. He can almost always answer your guestions correctly, even if it is only one word answers. I just can't imagine what all goes through his mind while he is just lying there

ETA: Crap, I just took a look at those pix again and I see she named her Meigi Milo also I guess Milo is more common of a name than I thought Maybe she does the same thing I do and looks for a name with the same first letter as their"given" name.

Which reminds me, ALa is Aletta - for Winged One. That is what I named her back when I pre-ordered her.

Hearing about his prolonged suffering while still knowing what is going on around him is what is breaking my heart and I'm sure is doing that and much more to you and your mom. He is holding on and refusing to let go too. I really believe that. He won't be able to do that much longer, but his stamina is really super human almost based on all the clinical signs of end stage organ failure that he has been dealing with...especially over the last few weeks.

The Meigi 2 face-ups are at a whole other level than the Meigi 1's! I think he would look really cute in a darker brown wig too with those dark eyebrows!

Oh! I forgot to tell you! The Dollzone agents have said the March Dollzone orders are only going to take 20-35 days !!!!!!!! Happy days are here again! I hope DDE has placed your order by now! Yes, Dad is just refusing to let go. I know that his heart will just stop one day. Probably very soon. I guess he would rather be alive in this condition than dead. I might be exactly the same way. The not knowing if there is "life after death" is no doubt what keeps so many of us desperate to stay here.

Yes, I think the fear of the unknown and not wanting to leave your loved ones keeps people hanging on to life with all their might sometimes and I totally understand.

Don't get me wrong... I love life to the hilt and I love my friends and family, but I am all about quality vs. quantity. I will not suffer like your Dad has- I will make sure of that. That scares the holy hell out of me.

I think I will go try to work on the next chapter of my story for a while... hope I can come up with something interesting and fun!

Well, my Dad had the same exact feeling about "quality vs. quantity" and yet he won't let go. I guess maybe when the time comes the fear takes over. Or he is staying for my Mom's sake - for the SS money to help pay the hospital bills maybe.

Well, I was too tired to do anything with the new chapter. I did 'nt get enough sleep yesterday because I stayed up too late and woke up before my alarm went off. I feel much more rested today!

The white wicker rocking chairs are here! I will get pix in a little while. They look great!

I about had a heart attack. The doorbell rang and a box was left on the front porch. The box was the exact size Milo would come in and just about the same weight - maybe a little lighter. I yelled out "It just can't be!" Well, of course it wasn't It was the chairs. But for a fleeting moment.....

Those chairs are so cute and the perfect size and color! The beautiful trio look so coordinated sitting in them. I must say Ianna looks so pretty in that wig! It just is so flattering on her with that outfit.

I got a notice that some boots I ordered for Mo are at the post office. So that means I can take some photos of her in her adventurer outfit for you this weekend!

I need your opinion on something. I was thinking about getting Milo this wig with the orange streaks. What do you think? Will he look good in this, or should I not go this dark and just look for brown?

I think dark brown would be better on him. I know that is a hard color to find in a boy style wig though.

JPOP does have a brown I am considering. It is like the one I got Luca when I rewigged him. I also saw a brown fur wig on ebay, but I am so leery about fur wigs. I should bring the pix and see what you think.

Neither one of those wigs seem quite right....I would keep looking. He will come with the brown and light tan fur wig from Dollzone, then maybe you can see what you think if you even like the fur.

7-8 fits perfectly on Hid, so 8 may just need a piece of velcro!

I just so wish I could find him some plain old blue jeans. I can find t-shirts and plenty of cute shoes, but not jeans. I have my eye on a pair on ebay that are used and the seller is in GB. I wonder how many people will bid on them and how high it will get.

I am in love with the Heath Ledger minimee head mould that is being ordered and there is one head slot left... Face-up would be 25-50...then there would be the issue of the body. I guess I could get that later...I must resist. 1. Because I so can't afford it 2. I don't even want to get started with the SD size dolls 3. It is rather morbid to get a doll that looks like a recently expired celebrity But, it is so beautiful...*cries*.

Wow! It really does look like Heath Personally, that would creep me out a bit because - he's dead I also have no desire to have the SD size. Just all way too expensive and I don't know where I could properly display them. They are just so tall. I think the MSD size is just perfect! AND, a lot of the outfits are fairly reasonable.

Yes, MORE stinking snow! They say Milwaukee will get a foot and there are already flight delays. We may all get to stay in tomorrow though. No classes for Eric, HS closed for Good Friday, Rob will TRY to work from his home office. I will stay in and clean and bake.
