Glad you enjoyed this chapter. I start thinking about ideas for scenes I want to do with the characters and then start to mentally flesh them out before doing the photoshoot. Then, after the photos are done I sit down and start writing the script. This was a longer story so it took me more time to put it all together. It was fun though. Especially making and putting together all the props and costumes for it. Getting the right costumes for scenes really serves as inspiration for where the story goes.

Hope you have a wonderful Easter with your family. It was sunny yesterday, but kind of overcast here today. I will be out working with one of the horses and spend time with Cole, mixed in with more Spring cleaning...windows, carpets etc!

Oh no, too bad it was too windy to have some animal fun! But I guess it is good that it kept you in to get some "company is coming" cleaning done!

We had a Cooks Spiral Smoked Ham! It was the best ham we have ever had! I made country style mashed potatoes, mixed green and waxed beans, broccoli in cheddar sauce, along with cranberry sauce, Pistachio Fluff, and dinner rolls.

Dessert was Mince Pie and French Silk Pie - had a tiny piece of each! Yum! Oh, and I had a Fuzzy Navel wine cooler with the pie Razz

Yum-Yum!!!! I am going to have to scrounge some dinner together myself here in a little while. We don't do the big Easter dinner thing. It makes me wish I had gotten a small ham hearing about your dinner though! *drool*

We got a good deal on the Cooks Spiral Smoked Ham at Jewel. First off they had a $5 off coupon on any spiral ham, Cooks was also on sale, plus we got an extra 5% off with Justin's employee discount. So we got a half spiral ham for $14! We always get the Spiral Honey Baked for Xmas so I thought I would try the Smoked. I usually do a leg of lamb along with the ham (usually a Polish Krakus though) on Easter because we normally have more people for dinner. This year with my folks not being able to come and not knowing what might happen with my Dad, I didn't invite anyone over but my MIL and BIL. BIL couldn't make it in from Ohio (he did come visit on Thursday) so it was just the 5 of us and just not worth the expense of the leg of lamb. The boys prefer the ham anyway.

I used to like lamb, but I just don't buy it much anymore. We are'nt huge meat eaters, but I do like proscuitto and pancetta to add flavor to soups and pastas. Ever since Italy, I have been on an Italian wine and cooking jag.

I threw together an Italian soup tonight with what I had on hand. I had some frozen chicken Italian sausage, orzo pasta, Swiss chard, carrots, fingerling potatoes, and some garlic...threw in some chicken and beef broth, tomato paste, and some seasoning and it was really good!
We had some really good parmigiano reggiano that we shredded over it and some Italian bread with it. This is usually how we eat on Sundays. I make a big pot of something that we can eat on for 1-2 other meals. I don't like to cook as much during the week as I do on weekends.

Super cute pic!! Looks like a windy day! Yes, he comes with a "travel bag" Laughing That's what I'll call it! Since he is suppose to be "a traveler". I would love to see all pix you find! I try to find pix of him on Flickr by typing in the name "Meigi or Megi" and I have found some, but you know there is probably more out there under different names.

I cannot believe you just throw a whole bunch of stuff together and it comes out good! I will probably end up with slop Embarassed I am so a recipe person - that or just cook the basics. I would be afraid to just throw a bunch of stuff together. I never even heard of half the stuff you threw in the pot Shocked I need to get out more.

What a day! I got the beautiful wig from Cool Kat! It is just like I hoped it would be! Gorgeous silky and perfect! Ianna has it on first. She looks like she would make a perfect "Alice" so I know I am going to be on the look out for an Alice outfit for her one day!

The table and chairs came and so did THREE sets of re-ments! I can't believe I got the stuff so fast!

A few quick pix! Today, tomorrow (11 kids!!) and Weds. are going to be busy, but hopefully Thursday and Friday I will have time to take some GOOD pix!

The table, bread and rolls and fruit basket!

Eeek! It has been quite a day my laydee! I love all your rement items! They look perfect on the table and in your doll's hand! That is quite a spread they have laid out! Looks good enough to eat!

That new wig for Ianna is such a pretty color on her...and so shiny! Is it like a strawberry blond with light highlights? She would make a perfect Alice! Maybe someday you can find that Goodreau Alice outfit on sale or slightly used. It would be perfect on her! And Milo can be the mad Hatter!
That would be so cute!

Well, I took half a day off vacation today because my vet could come out for a farm call and give all my horses their annual shots, Cole his rabies shot, and float my oldest horses teeth. I am still recovering...They all did pretty well...considering! I always dread that visit, but it has to be done.
The next big animal expense will be when I put horse shoes on all three...
Ay carumba! Shocked

Thanks! I do think it all looks great! I wanted the rocker in the middle since it is higher, but the legs stick out too far and the table wouldn't fit in the center. I could use a slightly bigger table for display.

I have my eye on that Goodreau Alice, but when you add in the shoes and shipping that is a big expense! That might have to wait until Xmas. That's OK, I do not have plans to get any new dolls so I can spend Xmas money on things for the dolls I have. Why do I think Milo is going to be the more spoiled one??

An Alice and Mad-Hatter would be super cute! Especially at Halloween!

Yes, it is shiny golden/strawberry blonde with highlights. It is gorgeous in person. It was worth the wait!

I am glad your babies did good with their doc appointments. Too bad I couldn't get docs to make house calls for my babies! I don't have any idea what it means to "float his teeth" Shocked

Yes, as good as can be expected. They know when the vet comes, and immediately figure out what is coming next! It gets kind of hairy at times.
My vet is this wirey little 110 pound woman who is tough as nails. She soemtimes reaches up and grabs a hold of a horse by the end of it's nose and twists it to get them to calm down and then gives the shot. She had to do that with my mare today. The oldest one that needed his teeth floated had to be tranquillized to have that done. She puts this metal contraption on him that forces his mouth open, then has these giant files and has to manually file down the teeth that have sharp points. Shocked She inevitably gouges the sides of the inside of his mouth in the process, but he did have some good drugs on board! After all that was over I let them all go graze in the pasture and all is well in their world again. Very Happy Cole had to be held down because he was deathly afraid of the vet...so I am still mentally recovering! It is tough sometimes being a good creature mama! Shocked

Yes, I bet Milo will only have the best of everything! Wink I just cannot wait to see your face when you get him! You must have hubby take a photo of you two together! It will be priceless to me!

Wow, that teeth floating procedure sounds rough. Poor baby - you too. I can imagine it is hard to see your babies scared like that. I remember how I felt when my kids needed shots etc. I used to wish I could get the shots for them Crying or Very sad How long does it take to file down all of a horse's teeth? I bet it takes a lot of patience.

Two of the re-ments I got were from DDE. I ordered them on Friday and got them on Monday! I hope that means when they get Milo in they get him out to me that fast!

Will his stock wig come glued on his head or just on like a wig? I was wondering about that earlier today.

BTW, I am always alone when I open my dolls. It is a special moment for me and I like it to be private. I always sit with the doll and get to know them before I show them to the family. Weird I know.

I know this is not doll related, but after our "attachment" to your Bill and Tom dolls I couldn't help but feel bad when I read this.
Quote :

Hamburg, Germany
Has he endangered his health for his fans?

Singer Bill Kaulitz(18) of germany’s most successful rock band “Tokio Hotel”(DDM) has to go through a surgery of his larynx!

The doctors diagnosed a cyst on one of his vocal chords, that (the cyst) has to be removed immediately. Without a surgery his voice could be affected so strongly that he would never be able to sing again.

The
completely sold out Europe-tour with concerts in Italy, Sweden,
Slowenia, Serbia, Finnland, Danmark, Norway and a show in Dortmund have to be cancelled.

I'd say, if this is true, the new American dates will also be moved, like the rest of the European tour.

Thanks for bringing over the news about Bill. I read some stuff on one of the TH sites about the band having to cancel shows because Bill was so sick. That is a shame, but I think he just did too much too soon. A young person't vocal cords are just not meant to go through that kind of stress in such a short time. I bet he will be fine, but I know losing momentum in the music business could be a huge setback. Definitely a sad day in Tokio Hotel land.

Yes, the tooth floating thing is pretty bad...luckily you only have to have it done every 2-3 years or so. She used a really good, but expensive tranquillizer that relaxed him, but did'nt make him as wobbly afterwards. I am so lucky to have such a great vet that will come to the house. It costs 35.00 for her to come, but it saves me time, money and gas since I would have to make 2 trips to get all 3 horses to her office. I only have a two horse trailer. Horses are a very expensive hobby...why is it those I the ones I gravitate too? I guess it is more than a hobby now...it is a lifestyle. Shocked

The BJD wigs are not glued on like Pullips! cheers You will never have to deal with that again! I doubt you will take off your new Pullip girl's wig-It looks too nice. No

Thanks! I didn't think it would be glued on, but wanted to make sure. I am glad. No I think ALa will have a very nice stock wig. I sold all my Pullip wigs anyway and I doubt I will spending money on Pullips in the future.

So glad you don't have to haul your babies to the vet. That sounds stressful for all of you.

Yep, it is sure a sad day for TH fans. I really hope it all goes well for Bill. What a bummer for the band and their fans.

Got to get to bed. ELEVEN kids tomorrow affraid

It was going to be 12 - but Katie's mom decided to take some time off over spring break. Yeps, lots of mom's needed me today! It's going to be like having a party! Most of the kids having been coming here for years and are all friends. It is just the two youngest that will be a challenge, but then they are the two that always are!

Have a great day!

The kids love the new girls and all the little things! Especially the little puppies I love you

Well, while waiting for some of the kids to get here I managed to buy a dress! I could not resist this dress. It was BIN for $15.99, which considering the price of most clothes for these dolls I felt I just had to have it! I am going to team it up with the white boots you gave my girls, just like the seller did in the pic.

It is so pretty! I don't know if it will go to Ianna, which I think it will because it will go so good with her hair, OR Rylee because the green in the dress will go with her green eyes.

Dolls - Page 15 Hankiepankiedress

This seller had a 3 peice white suit for sale that she made for the Super Dollfie. I am tempted to see if she does commissions and would make one for an MSD.

ETA: EEK! I just got the long black CanCan wig and the silver Tea Set. Once again the wig was sent registered. I guess everything from China will be now. I will never be able to go out!!!!!!!! I'll be gone all day tomorrow, but I do not think anything will come tomorrow, at least not from China. I don't think it has been long enough for the Miniwoo outfit for Milo and the CanCan wig for him will be at least 2 weeks.

AETA: Wow, it was a really good and fun day with the kids! All were well behaved and no problems or time-outs at all!

The little silver tea set is just adorable! When you take off the lid you see tea inside. When you take off the creamer lid you see creamer. There is fake sugar in the sugar bowl. There is fake tea in the cups. Just too cute. The little fork with the cake is so nice. I am just so pleased with all this re-ments. No wonder so many in the Pullip/Blythe world get so many of them!

Glad you had a stress free day with 11 kids...does'nt seem possible, but I guess you won't your special magic on them! Wink

That is a very cute dress! It looks perfect for a Sping day at the garden party!
