That might be fun for him.

LA Times blog about the AI Final 12 party

Quote :
"You're one of those little, sarcastic L.A. Times girls too, aren’t you," inquired Constantine Maroulis, after I complimented his recent theatrical achievements. We were at the "American Idol" Top 12 party, and Constantine had convinced himself, for reasons unbeknownst to me, that I had it in for him. "Those that can't, ya know, write," Constantine informed me. I told him that was a peculiar thing to tell a reporter. "It is what it is" he replied. Then, as we parted ways, he added, "You're very pretty. You're very nice."

Aww, this is so cute:

Quote :
Jason Castro was dolled up for the occasion, with braided dreads and flowers in his locks. We discussed eliminations, and despite his laid-back persona, Jason confessed that they were pretty grueling. "You're even scared for the guy next to you," he moaned. "Even when you get a yes, it's not like 'yeah, I'm so happy,' its like, 'aw man, I'm sorry guys.' " Despite his sympathetic tendencies, however, Jason is not very social. "It takes me a long time to get a best friend," Jason confessed, explaining that in his spare time, he either reads or plays music.

That was a strange remark from Constantine, but then from what I read here, he is strange anyway....... Smile

If someone finds a pic of Jason's 'do', please post it.

We don't know the other side of the story - like what was said before. In fact she ended up being complimented by him.

I didn't see any problem with that article at all. She's a blogger who has her say and that's all we get.

I've never found Constantine to be strange. At all. But I don't read anything into what he says either.

So true Lau. We don't know both sides. I shouldn't have called him strange. At least not for that exchange anyway Razz. I will give him the benefit of the doubt on this one. My bad.

Constantine seems like an utter asshole in exactly the way I have found him to be in that exchange with the reporter.
In fact...I do believe that the end of the story the night he first insulted me was that I was supposed to offer to blow him to make up for our tiff.

On Danny Noriega. YAY that Rosy is adopting him! YAY! he gonna be alright now.

Some great Bo news! He's going to have a reality show on A&E. I don't know what it's called or what it's about or when it's going to be on, but apparently there was a mention of it by some company whose amplifiers he endorses.

I do not know what he actually expected, because I left after he told me to wait. I did not wait. But the way he had been behaving was so weird I did wonder if the hostility mixed with interest he was showing had something sexual involved, knowing by that point, that getting blow jobs from fans in bathrooms, alleys cars, bus, anywhere, is something he likes to do nightly and none of the young attractive girls were still around.

It's good news so far. I can get over Danny not being on the show. I just hope that, like Josiah, he finds himself in demand and not really in need of the show. I will miss Danny, because I thought he was fun, but mostly I was really quite worried about him because he's very insecure and a lot of that bravado is fronting to hide it.

On the other hand, I am a little relieved he left before I got REALLY attached to him, and a couple more weeks might have done that. I always want to mother the head cases...

Which brings us to Constantine. I think he really gets defensive quite easily, and seems to bark harder at people he thinks may be attacking him than is really warranted. That's actually based on interactions I have had with him myself - but then, I also was able to resolve my argument with him. However, I will keep my distance from now on and just play the songs I like. He's very touchy.

He will go off on his FANS for criticizing his HAIRCUT!!! He will take a perceived slight and call someone horrible terrible names. Curse them like there's no tomorrow.

If we were to take that interview in a bubble, then yes, I would say that we don't know both sides and really can't judge. Since most of us have WITNESSED him IN-PERSON acting like a fucking freak and cursing people when he absolutely does not fully comprehend the situation or what the other person said, leads me to believe this blogger was 100% accurate about her experience and the other side is that he's a FUCKING FREAK.

Frazz, your assessment is totally accurate. If he thinks the evening will end with a BJ, suddenly he's Mr. Nice, even if he's treated you like some crap he scraped off his shoe a mere hour earlier.

Oh, and I'm glad about Danny.

Let us know what you really think GE! Laughing Razz

I was just being polite to our new friend Lau and thought I would give Con the benefit of the doubt, I know how it is to be a sole member of a board that likes an Idol Razz I had to read some nasties about Clay at a certain other board. But I guess if Lau is here she must know she will read some unpleasant comments about Con in this thread.

So Lau, it is true we were not there to witness what all was really said and certainly bloggers can tell untruths or write a certain take on an incident. But I think from what Con has said to fans right on Greek Speak ("bitter whore" anyone?) My guess is she got to witness the unpleasantness that Con has been know to display.

Like I said before, if I have something to contribute to the ever controversial conversation of Mr. Maroulis, I will. And that's what I did. And honestly, I really enjoy reading all these viewpoints. And a special thanks to Firecracker for your politeness.

You all here probably don't realize how much I read you in the past on different boards and came to like what you had to write. I might not agree but I really do enjoy your stuff. That's why I wanted to post here and hope to continue to do so. Posting different from my own thoughts on Constantine isn't enough to keep me away!

Frazzle, I wouldn't expect you to know this, but I tried to meet you at the "controversial" Lion's Den show back in '05 that you speak of. I saw you helping to sell the raffle tickets when we were lined up outside. Just as you were getting close to where I was, someone called you back up to the front and then we went in. I ended up completely in the back for that show. Which wasn't a loss to me as I realized it was an unrehearsed attempt by Con and the band to try to put one over on the crowd. Mr. M was very low on my list when I left that day.

I just read this:

Quote :
If he thinks the evening will end with a BJ, suddenly he's Mr. Nice, even if he's treated you like some crap he scraped off his shoe a mere hour earlier.

That might be true, I've never had person experience with it. Now you've intrigued me.!!! LOL

But somehow I don't get the impression it will ever be the case for me, even if the man is drunk! I'm older than the type of lady he's looking for.

Abrahammy and I have talked pro and con on Con (does that rhyme?) and I think we know where each of us stands. And btw - Abrahammy is one of the most interesting and enjoyable people to talk with that I have met in the this whole crazy situation.

Green Eyez, I don't know you much at all, but I'm reading you here on this board. I look forward to reading more of your thoughts.

Yikes, I apologize for this getting so long, but I just wanted to throw in a few things that I've been wanting to say. I try to be an open person as much as possible. I really hate myself badly when I don't approach things openly. I've tried to be that way around the Constantine fandom. I think he has loads of positives both as a performer and a human being. But I realize he has other parts of him that have turned others off. To me, its just part of the whole person that he is, good points and difficult points.

Constantine has always been very courteous to me. And I've had a chance to see him many times. Perhaps because I don't approach him after every show, maybe that's why I don't get bothered by much of anything. I was never one to be "star struck" so I don't feel that great need to interact with him all the time. If there is no crowd, I will do that. And maybe 3 - 4 times I've waited in a line to say hello, get an autograph, or a photo.

A bo reality show, especially if it about behind the scenes of country rock might be cool!

Lau, how cool that we almost met! I wish we had.

I enjoy everybody's point of view, just generally in this world, as long as it is not about me or personal friends or personal enemies. Any celebrity is fair game for adoration, like, dislike or hate, in my book and it is enjoyable to hear the thoughts of people who have wildy different opinions aboiut something, like Constantine. I will go apoplectic upon any defence of him as a person in public with fans or reporters, but truly I can understand people being a fan of him in other ways, even though I am not.

I have a new celeb siting story I am going to post in the celeb thread.

Lau, it's too bad you didn't get to meet frazz, who is just an amazing person. Hopefully you'll get to meet her one day in the near future.

Lau, you have no idea how refreshing it is to find Con fans who don't leap to defend him as if he's their own son! The fanatical fans don't realize they're not doing him or themselves any favors by never even considering he might be saying something just because he's being a total jerk.

I think it is funny that the only interaction I've personally had with him was very nice and he was totally sweet. It's when I loved him.

Lau, I was referring to frazz' post about how he was a jerk to her until the end of the evening and she surmised that he wanted...ummm..."something" from her due to his past behavior with using his most avid fans as...well...receptacles.

Quote :

Yeah, that's sort of where I was coming from with my response. There's one thing you never have to ask of me: what exactly is your position on that? Heh. Love me or hate me, I pull no punches, but I'm always willing to listen to what everyone has to say.

Anyway, here is a little "thanks to the fans and Rosie" vid from Danny! I am so going to miss him. I hope he shows up somewhere!!

Yeah, I'm pretty attached to him too, Firecracker. It's unusual for me to get attached to an AI contestant this fast - and very disconcerting, because we will probably never see him again. AI finalists often have second acts of some kind - Clay had a brilliant one, Constantine chugged along for awhile, even Sanjaya had some interesting things happen to him for several months after he was voted off. There's a long goodbye, usually.

With Danny - that little video was probably it. So long, kid. I'm going to miss you quite a bit. I don't know if I'll find another favorite. On the other hand, I realized how much I liked Taylor at FINAL FIVE, so my enthusiasm might not be over at all.

Oh, for crying out loud! Danny had to remove his video while I was writing this post! It's gone now!

I wonder if Danny's youtube was in some sort of violation of the Top 24 contract? They're still issuing tough legal stuff. Or maybe someone dropped out from the top 12 and he's in?

I saw the video. I wish I could share the enthusiasm you two have for Danny. I'm sorry, I just don't. I think it was a little of desperation coming out. He could get picked up somewhere though. The entertainment field has many ups and downs.
