That's what I think. I swear to God I can go all day and not worry about anyone's sexuality. But as soon as someone rants and raves and doth protest too much it makes me wonder. You know it is sad to me that it still does matter in 2007 no less that it makes a difference if someone is gay or not. If you enjoy someone and they are talented , who cares ? I don't. Now I love John Travolta ,have for years. The only thing that would change my mind about him is of someone said he was a horrid human . . He is nice , isn't he?

Tom Cruise? I hate his delusional ass.

Travolta was very nice and polite in the 5 minutes I interacted with him. I might have mistaken him for Charles Nelson Reilly if he had looked like him. Charles was also very nice. But Charles really WAS funny!

I enjoy Travolta's acting in his latter years (starting with Pulp Fiction. LOVED him in Primary Colors). I haven't seen Hairspray, but eventually I will.

Tom Cruise I have no personal experience with...never even seen him, but I don't much like his acting, and I think his views on the world are completely fucked.

How does this tie in to former reality contestants?

I dunno. Maybe there will be a show called "Come Out of the Closet."

Wow, everyone here is able to voice their views so well. I have a 'block' when it comes to writing anything!

To me, it doesn't matter.......gay or not gay, white or black or whatever race or religion..........as long as everyone is a good person. I wish the world was different and that everyone would accept people for who they are regardless. I don't even like to label a person as white or black, gay or straight, even though it's very apparent most of the time.

We were watching BB tonight and my 6 yr. old grandson mentioned Jamika as the black girl..........I told him her name was Jamika. I don't live in a dream world, I know things will never change and there will always be labels, I just wish there weren't labels. It doesn't matter to me but I realize why some gay people would not want to come out about it, there is such a stigma attached to people's sexual preference.

I agree Sky! It would be so nice if the world could be that way. I just don't know if it ever will be No For the life of me I don't know why in this day and age being gay still has to be such a horrible thing for some to cope with. Same with the race issue. But you know, as long as we have things going on like "The Black Prom" and "The White Prom" getting more popular and being at more schools, and awards shows geared toward black performers, and Hispanic, how is it going to go away? It breaks my heart that there are schools having separate proms. That seems a step backwards Crying or Very sad

Back to being more on topic:

Badger, I didn't know you were on GS! I don't think I remember your name from there. I have seen you at The Clackhouse though. I had a Chinese friend once who showed me how to tell the difference between Chinese and Japanese by their last names. One syllable=Chinese, more than one equals Japanese! Laughing

Abrahammy, are you saying that you left GS? Gee, I should go to check the place out and see what is happening there. That's too bad if you have left. You really were a great poster there. I know so many people cared about you. Hope I just misread your post.

So how many CDs has Con sold? Has anyone heard his song on the radio? He and Clay can form the "They don't play us on the radio" forum! I haven't watched the B&B since "The Concert". Has he been on since then?

Because the religious right is playing on people's prejudices and fears and convincing them that being a bigot is actually a moral imperative. I just read a GREAT book called 10 things your minister wants to tell you : (but can't, because he needs the job) in which a Baptist minister explains where a lot of these deep-seated prejudices come from and why everything the right wing says about Christianity - and Jesus - and salvation - aren't quite as exclusive and rigid as they are made out to be. It made me feel very much more at ease about my own religious convictions to hear a man of the cloth tell me that I didn't have to be a homophobic bible-beating loudmouth evangelist pissing off people who might not really need self-righteous attempts to "save" them in order to love my creator and hope for a place with Him.

It is. It's still Us vs. Them after all this time; the playing field is just slightly less uneven than it was.

No, I won't board suicide. It's an attention-getting device and childish. I just think he may have hit the end of the road now that the B&B has been written unbelievably poorly and the CD has failed. I am NOT going to talk about chest hair. I WON'T.

I really did like "Fading Into You." I like several songs on the album. It was just too late for Constantine. He's sold about 20,000 albums of the 150,000 he printed. His time on B&B is over. He has nothing coming up that I know of except the Greek Food Festival, which should honestly be lots of fun for many reasons, so I will go to that and that may be my fandom swan song.

Of course, I thought I was traveling to Brel to say goodbye to him then, too, so we will see.

I was reading your post Abrahammy when my son called saying the car died on him on his way home from class. He only has two classes on Fridays. I go to pick him up and a friend of his is in the car. Eric was going to drive him home because his friend's car was dead in the school parking lot Shocked Who would have thought they would both have car problems the same day?! The car was dead on one of the winding farm roads home and Matt's dad pulls over to help them at the exact same time I do! Strange day!

Well, sad for Con fandom. I am sure they are all bummed. I wonder what will become of GS if he really does just fade away? Perhaps just be a board where people just talk about lots of stuff like we do here. At least they can all stay in touch via the board. But who knows, things may turn around for Con.

Hey, if Con's career dies out you can follow Little Papaya!! How is he doing BTW?

Didn't I read that Constantine's character Constantine Parros will be a "recurring character" on The Bold and The Beautiful ?

firecracker, I like Constantine but he amuses me more than anything else. I do think he's quite talented but he's probably best known for being "Constantine from AI" than he is for any of his professional work. I'm guessing he does get paid whenever he shows up at an event.

I know a lot of the Bo fans are on pins and needles over Bo's new CD. Of course, we expect it to be incredible, but how successful will it be in terms of sales? I think his label is affiliated with his management company so he should be able to get some good promotion and PR but will he get enough to make a real difference?

I posted this already in the AI thread, but just in case, Bo's new CD is going to be called "See The Light". It's also the name of a song which was co-written by Bo and Thomas Lee who was the keyboardist for Sugarmoney. Bo's new label is $ugarmoney/Stratart.

He's on tour. He turns 18 Monday. He will put out a CD next Spring. If they BOTH conk out - which is quite possible, Clay will remain, because he will never fade away unless he makes that decision. He's a genuine star.

I will pay attention to Bo's next album. If I like it better than the last, I will buy it. I like Bo. I do not like Bo lite. Clive Davis style.

I plan on buying Bo's new CD................it has to be better than the first one. Not that I totally disliked his first CD, it just wasn't Bo. I'm hoping it's more rock (southern rock or not) and not so "pop" as the first one.

Well, when C's career finally gasps its last breath after being on life support for the past two years, you can all join me in my Jared fandom. He is not only talented and beautiful, but a very good man with good values.

There will be people rotting in the damn el camino long after his career is deader than dead. Even if he isn't on TV anymore. Even if they hear he's only doing dinner theater, or he's a waiter. Even if they hear he's hitting on girls half his age trying to tell them who he used to be. Even then, they'll still say he's the biggest star on the planet. They will say he's a spiritual being going back to his roots to find out what life is all about and he will come back wiser and better. They'll say he still loves his fans, even if he just goes on GS to drunkenly yell and scream at the few fans who still cling to him. They'll say he's having a bad day and they like this "flavor" of the honest C. He's being contemplative and working it all out. They must have said something to deserve being called a fat whore. Surely, he would not say such things unless they provoked him in some way. Should someone say his comment might be uncalled-for, they will be banned. Does anybody remember what GS was like when it was first started? Well, stop thinking about it. It will make you sad.

Bo is a true musician who has real talent and he will make it. He's a hard worker who knows the business. I believe when everyone is saying "Constantine WHO?" Bo will be making music.

Of course, JD is already a bigger star than C will ever be because he's a star. I'll tell you, I didn't watch RS: INXS, but I turned it on and within 5 minutes of watching, pegged him as the winner, hands down. I was an INXS fan and could find nobody else, not even Marty, who could fill Michael's shoes in that band. Marty is good, he just wasn't right for the band.

Well, his nibs just went to vist GS, saw a post I wrote that he didn't like, and screamed at me. Lovely. Not particularly atypical.

Well, I think I'm done. Still enjoyed Brel, but he doesn't have enough support left to behave like this. If I want to hear a good tenor I can listen to Clay and if I want the suspense of watching a career maybe rise, maybe fall, I've got Sanjaya.

Eh, don't mind me. I'm just kinda pissed off, but I'll get over it. This is not new behavior.

What? Just now this happened Abrahammy? Tell us more. I don't have it in me to go there and hunt. I just got in from seeing my dad in the intensive care unit at the hospital that almost killed him today!!! I kid you not!! When I compose myself and stop shaking I will write all about it in the appropriate thread. I plan to have it out with an administrator and perhaps get a lawyer! I am so upset - there are no words!! He is doing better but we don't know how this is going to turn out!

So what the heck happened at GS and with Con?

I'm so sorry FC!

Abrahammy- That is one reason I'll never post at GS again (aside from the insanity over there), if I posted what I really thought, I would hear it. You're braver than I am!

I think the biggest mistake GS ever made was allowing him to be a member of that board. And I really mean that.

You mean you're not going to tell GS what he called you (or whatever?) Then watch them maybe turn on you...

Wow Abrahammy, I went to GS to see what all happened. My first time there in ages. Good grief Rolling Eyes The same ladies with the same excuses for his behavior - the usual suspects of course and all the blue ink!! Goodness the place hasn't changed. I forgot how much all that blue ink bothered me. FWIW I thought all your posts were rational, unlike some of the responses. The boy really needs to step away from GS. I am so glad Clay never posts on any message boards. I hope to god he never does. Honestly I wish he didn't even read the OFC! Message boards must really mess with a celebrity's head!

This is what happens to a D- celebrity with way too much time on their hands. They actually go on their own message board and harass fans PERSONALLY on a ONE-ON-ONE basis! How fucked up is that?????

TG Abrahammy that you have a husband who loves you and a life and many wonderful things going on. Also, that you're a fan of some truly talented people and at least one who wants to do some good in this world.

Not even Sanjaya has the opportunity to attack his fans individually. How sad for C that he feels the need to read about what his fans say, and instead of taking it to heart and trying to become better, he chooses to defend himself in a childish petulant manner.

I'm sorry it happened to you especially, Abrahammy. You've always been fair where he's concerned. GS is freakin' Nazi country now, filled with people who are fawning sycophants, and if God Forbid you're not, they'll blue ink you into submission. He is hanging on the words of some desperate, sad women because it's all he has left. I'm not talking about you, Abrahammy. You have your eyes wide open where he's concerned. I'm talking about the ones who forget to give their kids dinner because they're busy defending a man who so clearly doesn't deserve it.

Sigh. I'm debating. You see, I had SUCH fun last year, and it really is a beautiful church and a fun festival. Really, I can even live with the fact that the guy is an asshole; I've really known that for a long time anyway. This is not the first time he's fussed at me. He knows and dislikes abrahammy, but he wouldn't know me from the queen of england in a crowd, so there's no need for conflict there. I can just enjoy the concert (and I will; I genuinely like many of the songs) and skip the Meet and Fawn line.

I even like many of the GSers. I just hope I can stomach prattle about what a nice Greek boy he is or not flinch sadly when hopeful talk of his future comes up. It is not looking good at all at the moment. Of course, I've said THAT before and then he pulls something out of his sleeve, too.

And if I don't go, I know the weekend of the festival I'll be looking at the calendar wishing all that stuff hadn't happened so I could go there. I've been looking forward to it for awhile.

Reading up on Narcissistic Disorder - not as a sword to condemn him, but as a shield to understand why I should not take any of this crap personally.
