| Jacob makes me wish (almost) that I had watched Dolly perform the weird song and make Ryan squirm. Thanks for bringing that over GE.
I like some good snark every now and again.

| I watched that MTV show with the rock star kids. The only one I really liked was Kenny Loggins' son Crosby. Hmm, who could he have been named after? Speaking as a Jason fan, I think next week is going to be very difficult for him. Not because he isn't capable of picking a great song and doing really well with it but Kristy no doubt will sing "Amazing Grace" which she does sing extremely well. It'll be like "God Bless The U.S.A." all over again. I guess I'm ITA with abrahammy. The Davids and Michael John are probably mortal locks for the top 4. By that I mean, if any of them go before then, it'll be considered "shocking". The battle for the last spot in the top 4 is probably a fanbase game now since everyone who isn't either Archie, Cookie or Michael has spent time in the bottom 3. | |

| I think the whole "I got BOGO at Payless" and "a tomato saaaaaaaaandwich" made me fall totally off my chair.
I really do have a total crush on Jacob, 'cause I do so enjoy the snark.
I was planning to watch that show, but it turned out I was recording Eli Stone and "Without a Trace" (YAY! It's back) at the same time and my TV changed channels for me. I never watch my favorite shows live. In case you couldn't tell, I'm not the most patient person in the world and commercials make me antsy.

| I'm not sure this show is worth watching..............I might give it another shot in hopes they will be better next week. Kenny Loggins son was good, but his marks weren't the highest. Joe Walsh's daughter was good. I think Dee Snider's son shows some talent as well. | |

| Jacob has some great moments, but I also find him pretty cruel sometimes. I NEVER read him. I have only seen things brought over to boards. He has said horrible things about people I care/cared for, so for me he is not always so much fun. He is a good writer though. Different strokes of course - and I am usually the different one His Dolly comments were right on the money though. I thought the song was "hideous" (tm Simon) and she just wouldn't stop talking though Ryan was trying so hard to move the show along. It was sad. I like Crosby and Jessie Snyder. Walsh's daughter was pretty good too. Chloe? That was just the weirdest thing ever There were a few good moments. Her voice is truly unique and almost Kate Bush like. I'm hoping she doesn't leave first because she could really bring the "amusing". Most of them were just really not good. I'm still going to watch for fun I think. This was not a show where you got to see too much of their personalities, but from what you did see they all seem pretty nice. | |

| To be quite frank...................I think Chloe had the biggest lips I've seen. She does have a uniqueness to her voice.....I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. | |

| Yeah, she looks like her dad more than her mom. I've seen her before and she looked way prettier than last night. She did always have large lips - but not like last night I think Belinda was right in that Chloe's voice was so unique and theatrical. If she could control it better I could see her in something like The Phantom of the Opera! I had heard that she had a CD out in Aussie land and I just thought she would sound something like her mom. What a total shock when she started singing. Why is everyone saying that Christy will sing Amazing Grace next week? What is the theme? | |

| I thought about that, but my guess was there wouldn't be many people in it I'll do it though. But the Christy question is AI related. I haven't heard what the theme is. | |

I'll just start stabbing myself in the eye with a sharp object now, so I'll be numb by the time the show airs.

| Well, I'll be stabbing myself along with you GE Oh, Lordy. I hope Cookie finds something good for this week. You can bet your life Christy will be singing "her" big song. Maybe she will even get the "pimp" spot at the end of the show with lots of amazing lights etc!! Perhaps back-up singers in their choir robes! Oh the tears will flow! | |

| I was extremely surprised that they haven't gotten him to cut them off yet. I would have thought with the makeovers that his dreds would be the first thing to go. This is my sharp object: | |

| I love long hair too! Just not dreads Not on anyone. Yes, they do go with his image and musical style, I just do not personally like the way they look. My 19 year old is growing his hair long and it looks awesome! It's about as long as Ace's hair - wavy, but not as curly as Ace's. My 17 year old is my curly top He tries to grow it long, but it usually just grows wide! Jason has a wonderful face, so he will look great no matter how he wears his hair! Yes, GE looks very serious about her stabbing I think I will spare my eyes the stabbing so I can look at Cookie, Michael and Jason. I will just take knitting needles to my ears. | |

| FC, I've gotta say I agree with you about long hair vs. dreds. For me, dreds look dirty. I mean, you can't really brush those properly, you know?
Long silky hair is fine with me. Hell, I'm a Steve Perry fan so you know where I sit on THAT issue!
Even Jacob says Dolly was brave for grabbing a handful of dreds.
He probably won't take them off due to most of his image being wrapped up in them, but I still harbor a secret hope that he'll get rid of them. Maybe I'll use the shears instead to cut off the dreds. Nah, OK I won't. I don't wanna make Sky cry.
Maybe during Kristy I can mute it and place a picture of Pat Benatar over her.

| Thank you GC, for not wanting to make me cry. I just can't picture Jason with short hair, then he'd look too much like David A, and I don't want that........... You know who has beautiful hair? Bo Bice!! FC............I have lots of knitting needles here........I wonder why I didn't think of those for a sharp object? | |

| Yes, it is NOT fair that Bo has prettier hair than I!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No, even if Jason cut his hair he would still be prettier than David A. I mean David A. is cute, but he isn't pretty | |

Jason is freakishly beautiful.

| I've seen pictures of Jason where his hair is like Danny Noriega's and others where it's long and thick like Bo's. I've read that he was going to cut his hair because he didn't like it but his mother told him she would "dread" it for him. | |
