“The Time Of My Life” is blowing up at radio, coming in as the #1 most added at Hot AC and AC radio right out of the box and #2 most added at Top 40 radio, pulling in over 6 million listeners in less than a week without an official launch. Additionally, it was the biggest single premiere on AOL’s PopEater site this year, garnering over 1 million streams in 24 hours.

25 year old David Cook hails from Blue Springs, Missouri where he discovered his singing skills while in the 2nd grade. Before his American Idol victory Cook independently released an album “Analog Heart” which earned him an URBY nomination for “Indie Album of the Year.” Cook also belonged to two bands, Midwest Kings and Axium.

At the end taking in his applause and he just keeps pointing to the AC on his new guitar - well, I was in tears He is so dedicated to his brother and his cause. I truly love this young man for his heart as well as his talent.

I'm with you Sky! I love the show. I love that it gave me Kelly Clarkson, Clay Aiken and David Cook! I also really enjoy my Elliott CD and I am thinking about Daughtry's because there are some damn good songs on that CD. For me, my fave singers have come from that show. Who knows what the future brings! Maybe even more!

I just wish they would dump the judges and the back stories. I don't know if anybody but me would watch, but I would sure enjoy it!

This, I would still watch.

I actually enjoy the back stories. I enjoy having some insight into the contestants. They could sure replace Paula and Randy. Simon? I don't know - he can be very entertaining sometimes. Yes, sometimes he is awful, but sometimes he is right on the money and other times just really funny.

DC's "Time of my Life" was used for a "best of" montage at the ESPY awards shown over the weekend! How cool is that?!

Yes, sometimes Simon can be really awful, we saw that this season, but sometimes...he is right on the money.

Great video of DC's Chicago "Hello". Scroll down, biggie it. The sound is rough at first, but as soon as he starts singing it is great and the ending is to die for! The look he gives the audience and the close-ups!!! Swoon!

I've read some stories similar or maybe the same. Some fan actually groped JC.....according to a fan. I don't know why some fans carry it to extremes and think they can invade someone's space. It's crazy.

Yes, he is an amazing your man! There are lots of great stories about his dealing with fans. He is very smart and yet very cool

I am very impressed with how he deals with all the craziness that goes with the AI hype. Being the winner, he is the leader and can create goodwill or chaos with his attitude and so far he has been a gem with great perspective. It will serve him well in his career!
