| I watched a You Tube of GB's B&B from yesterday (I think) were he sang acoustically in kind of a falsetto. I thought it was pretty good actually. Please don't hurt me I thought his acting improved a bit too. I still think he looks pretty bad. Hair a mess and scruffy. Maybe that is the look "they" want. Too bad. Anyway, I think when the CD comes out I will give it a fair listen. BTW, "Goldilocks" is just awful! I can see why my mom cannot stand her. I didn't even like her singing, and her acting is just yuck!! | |

| Well, I will dance around giving feedback about Constantine (too positive) but I will be quite free with Phoebe. Her singing reminds me of Carmen Rasmussen and she's got to be one of the stupidest female characters I've ever seen in my life. Our friend Parros is hearing her with his dick. | |

| Abrahammy I would love to hear what you think of GB's performance! I just watched a You Tube of today's performance and I must say I am enjoying him. Now, those of you here who hate him I can understand that you would not, but I am just judging him as if he were any new actor/character on a soap and I think he has the potential to be a good soap star. I do not think he is near ready for prime time, but he is pretty descent for a soap actor. Still can't help but wish they would clean him up a bit. The Black Weds. look would be great to see again. | |

Wow, really????? Has he improved that much from when he started on the show? If so maybe he does have a chance of making acting his career. But, somehow I'm not picturing him pulling off the falsetto...but if you say so FC I know he must be showing something decent or you would tell it like it is!!!*wink* Now Mcfee....I will keel over for sure if she proves to be a good actress, I think she is kind of a goof ball..I mean if you can't even sell some believable emotions in her singing and is not overly likeable. Oy. And I must comment on Tay...Looks like he goes for the real chicks, not the bimbos. That makes me smile.

| Luca, I honestly think he has improved in his acting. I thought his singing was nice yesterday. It wasn't a real high Ace like falsetto, but it was higher than I have ever heard him sing. I am not saying that he could be a "great" award winning actor, but for a soap (I used to watch them all the time many moons ago) he has been pretty good the last two shows. | |

| He's dealing with an absolutely dreadful script. The Phoebe character has been written as a complete twit. I think Constantine is trying to play it as honestly as possible, with no obnoxious mugging. | |

| FC, I'll have to take your word for it because I really cannot look at him without wanting to throw up. I guess there was nowhere for him to go but up from his earlier performances. I'm sure he's getting more used to the format by now.
Usually the "scruffy" guys of soaps look more like carefully crafted scruff. His looks like "just crawled out of a dumpster" scruff. He just never looks put together. Even when I adored him I didn't think so. I also find it very hard to believe he isn't mugging, since that's his default.
Did anyone see "The Soup" where they said that the finale was over, but they went back to see what was going on. There's the sound of crickets and a cardboard cutout of GB sitting there all alone. Then Joel does a GB impression. I am totally in love with Joel.

| I saw that Soup GE! It was so funny. I think Joel is a riot!
Yes, GB is not a good scruffy at all. He is not mugging one bit. He even has some charming moments. You have to remember I never met him or even saw him in person so I don't have the same vile reaction that those who have been personally exposed to all his crap have. I am quite sure from all that I have read that I would not like him one bit in RL. I am just saying he has improved in his soap role, and his singing the other day was rather pleasant.

| I am listening really carefully to Firecracker's perspective because I think it's a good way to get a fair perspective on how Constantine is doing. I think his acting is getting better, but I am biased. I agree about the scruffy look. Since Constantine instantly becomes five years younger every time he shaves, I do not understand why in hell he's in love with looking like a caveman. Maybe he's so sensitive about the double chin, and he wants to badly to hide it, that he accepts looking like this as a consequence.
No mugging. I repeat, no mugging. If he errs in either direction, he's too understated. Still, mostly he's been nodding sympathetically as this silly little twit as she worries and frets for three weeks, so he has not had much to do. I do think he's about to go round and round with Rick, so I think that's about to change.

| Abrahammy I will be happy to post what I think of his day to day performances. I really feel I can judge him fairly at this point.
I saw a You Tube clip of Carrie singing an acoustic performance of "Alone" at some fan event. It is amazing! Damn that girl can sing! My arms were covered in goosebumps!

| Abrahammy, I agree with you about the double-chin, but that doesn't explain the hair. It always looks like he sort-of combed it after he got out of the shower and then doesn't do anything with it. This is OK when he's the only one who's got his hands on his hair, but I've seen soap opera guys and their hair is always perfect. I know that he lets people do stuff to his hair since AI. I mean, even AI made his hair look decent. I can't understand how these people haven't forced him to make some changes. Maybe it's because he's supposed to basically be playing himself, or have this whole rockstar vibe going on. I don't know.
Glad to hear they may be smacking the mugging out of him. At least they're being proactive with that.

He's capable of not behaving like a tool. The question is not how he's able to be genuine, but why he so often does not choose to do so?

| I think C~ does think the hair on the face look helps hide his double chin and make his face look more in proportion.
It does strike me as odd that a good stylist has'nt gotten ahold of him and done some amazing things with him. I mean there was a point in time that he could look pretty damned good...but not lately. I don't think he would have the clout to really get divo-ish about what he won't have changed about his "look". Hell, if the producers asked him to shave his head he would probably do it if they told him chicks dig that and it would help ratings and keep him working!
Well, then again maybe not that extreme..but you get my point!

He's capable of not behaving like a tool. The question is not how he's able to be genuine, but why he so often does not choose to do so? Weeellll...I think for a couple of reasons. First, well, I guess before I knew what a shit he was and that he wasn't just doing it to be fun and cheesy on the cheesy show, it worked. Unfortunately, there are still a certain group of women who like the mugging and encourage him to do more mugging. Also, have you ever seen people who tried something in childhood and it maybe worked on mom or worked later with the opposite sex? Then later people are telling them it's annoying and to stop, but they keep doing it? (like a woman I know in her late 40's who still talks like a little girl). Well, I think he knows it works and then even when it doesn't work anymore, he keeps doing it. (like I said, especially when there's a certain group of women encouraging him to do it and still think it's "adorkable")until he's FORCED to not do it when a director basically tells him to stop it or lose his job.

Let's hear it for directors. He's a whole lot less annoying and a whole lot more appealing when they tell him to knock it off. If I never see rawkhands or pouts again - and this is speaking as a fan - it will be too soon.

| I watched today's episode in real time. This is the first time I have seen Rick in action. God he is horrible! In the scene with him and Goldilocks in the car I was hoping the car would blow up and save the world from such horrid acting Constantine on the other hand was really good. He is playing it in such a way that you just can't tell if he is going to be a little devil or maybe "the good guy". I am really enjoying him on this show. Physically, I think he should grow a nice little well groomed beard to hide the butt chin, and have a shorter, more layered hair cut. He would look really good. Anyway, in all honesty, if I were a B&B watcher and never saw "this actor Constantine" before, I would be very interested in him. I think he will gain fans and sell plenty of CDs if the music is good. This was a very good and smart move for him. | |

| You can listen to Kelly Clarkson's new CD here. It is so different than Breakaway. Not sure how much I like this one. Not a lot of radio freindly songs that's for sure. Just click on the pix to hear each of the songs.

| Um, well, I, er, don't know what to say. I think he looks awful. Sorry. AND those are words I never thought I would say about JD. He looks like he is a drunken mess IMHO. But thanks for bringing them. You are pretty much my only link left to JD and I do love him and I will still buy ANY CD he puts out because he has an incredible voice and style. Besides, I am sure they are just bad pix and in person he probably looked amazing. His personality is always alarmingly charming!
Sky, I do get Google alerts on JD and I have read a few reviews lately that describe him as a true Rock God that is way too good for an old band. I sure hope he can have a nice long career!

| I think he looks tired in the second one and a little 'cocky' in the first one. Condsidering both were taken right after a concert, maybe he imbibed a little and was tired. Anyhow, to me anyway still gorgeous! By the way........my nephew and his wife did not win the contest. Thanks everyone for voting for them. | |

| Oh Sky, I am so sorry they didn't win But at least they were in the running and a lot of people got to read their story. If only we could have voted more than once from each computer. Trust me, as a Claymate I know how to vote MANY times!! Well, if those pix of JD are from right after a concert then he probably was a few sheets to the wind! I know he loves to partake in some cocktails while on stage ! | |

Amid controversy over her upcoming album My December, Kelly Clarkson has fired her manager.
A source confirms to Usmagazine.com that Clarkson has fired LA-based Jeff Kwatinetz, CEO of the management company The Firm. "It is true. It just happened. It is a total shock but she wasn't happy," says the source, who adds that Clarkson has not yet decided on a new manager. Another source adds, "They majorly disagreed over the album and the direction and Kelly had enough."
A rep for Clarkson has no comment at this tim http://p101.ezboard.com/fkellyclarksonexpressfrm7.showMessageRange?topicID=13162.topic&start=1926&stop=1950
All I know is the first two singles off the CD have not done very well on radio and her concerts are not selling quite as well as expected.

| Is this a recent story about her? Seems I heard a while ago about her having some problems getting the songs she wanted on the cd. Do you know if the songs on there are hers, or what the label wanted her to record? I wish I could remember the story! I'll have to listen to the songs....I can't use the site you posted because you have sign up, and I don't want to do that. | |
