| Thank you! Thank you! I saw her earlier pix of him yesterday. These are new today. I didn't check today like I usually do! He is stunning in those pix! What beautiful eyes that one has! I see she added extra lashes. I have saved a link to order lashes like you got for your dolls. I may order them soon just in case. The are so inexpensive. I am so excited! I think he will be amazing! Look at his strong beautiful hands! I love the fingernails. I am glad that I got normal skin though. I have seen some pix of tan dolls that I didn't care for. Just too dark. This one does look very handsome though! Yes, Shyla could easily be a bad ass I have not seen Wicked. I will have to check into it. I talked to my Mom awhile ago. She was just sobbing. Dad has had a really difficult day. He just wants to hold her hand and keeps telling her he loves her and she has taken good care of him. She thinks he thinks it will be tonight and that is why he just wants to hold her hand. He couldn't eat anything today. The edema is just pouring out of pores and she has to keep changing towels around his arms. His skin just breaks open and bleeds and he is covered in large bandages. He is very weak and can't really open his eyes. I have all my clothes, shoes, purse etc. laid out in case we get called in the night to go over there. I have the funeral home's number next to the phone. So I don't even know if we will get to go to lunch tomorrow. | |

That is a priceless memory that will overshadow all the gruesome ones that he and all of you had to experience over the last months. Love to you and to your family.

| Good morning! Ha, I just re-read your one post and you said "Wicked Queen" from Snow White, not the character form"Wicked" the play - which I know is about the witches from Oz. At least I think that is what it is about. The Queen from Snow White is who I was thinking of. Or the the Queen from Alice in Wonderland. Can't imagine I will find dresses like that though. I would have to get creative. I talked to my Mom this morning and Dad put through one of his more peaceful nights. He is awake and had a tiny bit to eat. Seems no worse than yesterday, but does seem to want to still kiss her and hold her hand a lot. So Rob and I are leaving at noon to go there. I will visit with him for about 30 mins. and then take Mom to lunch while Rob stays with my Dad. Then we will spend a few hours there and see how it goes. Both boys work so they won't go today. They will go visit tomorrow. Justin did see my Dad yesterday. Eric is not dealing with it all that well. He finds it hard to look at my father. He says it is just too depressing and he doesn't know what to say to my Dad Justin has a more outgoing personality and just seems to be able to talk to my Dad like all is OK, which is what I do. I try to just visit with him as though things are no worse. I mean we have had our "talks" that we needed to have way back at Xmas time when they said he only had a few days. We have gone over all the details that we needed to long ago. So I just say "Hi Dad" with a big smile and talk to him as though it is just another day and another visit. My Mom cries so much around him and I think he needs to see Rob, Justin and I held together. Hopefully he cannot tell that Eric is bothered by it all. Hope you have an awesome day and I will talk to you later! | |

| Sometimes with ill, elderly people their mental status declines in the evening and in healthcare they call it "Sundowner's". Maybe that is partially what is going on at night when he has been confused, hallucinating, and anxious. Seems like he should be getting something more than what he is getting to keep him calm and relaxed at night. All I can say is your poor mother...sometimes with Hospice patients in my area, they will admit the patient to the hospital or at a nursing home to give the family some relief while still being on Hospice-and the Hospice team even comes in to visit, manages the medications etc., they also have in-patient hospice. I know your Dad is comfortable at home, but I think your Mother is giong to need some kind of respite based on what you are describing her emotional state is if this goes on much longer. Something to think about anyway.
Have a good visit. I know your mother must desperately need to get away for a while, but I think she needs more than just going out to lunch, frankly. Her being depressed and emotionally at the end of her rope is not a good scenario for her being the major caregiver for your Dad. I know this may be difficult to hear, but I don't know if this situation is really working anymore based on what you have been sharing here.

| Well, Del nor (our hospital) does not offer that. There is a home that takes some hospice patients that medicare covers but it is over an hour away. I don't think at this point my Mom would go along with him going anywhere anyway. He wants to be home with her and she wants him home with her. She wants to check on him all the time. She could never do that if he were away. He is way too bad off right now for us to trust him in a nursing home. We saw went goes on in one last July when he was in one I couldn't sleep if he were in a nursing home again. He needs almost constant attention with all his wounds that need to be cared for and they would NEVER do it! They didn't take good care of his one wound when he was in the nursing home. No way they would take care of his whole body that is a mess. It is just too bad no one told us that medicare had a cut-off for the round the clock Hospice care. She could have saved the days for when it got bad like it is now. Instead they stayed when there was not that much to do. But then they didn't think he was going to live to Xmas, let alone Easter. He is taking anti-anxiety meds and the morphine. I am not sure what else he should take. He is taking the morphine pretty much round the clock and he asks for the anti-anxiety pills when he feels he needs one. Thanks for the info on "Sundowner's" I will look it up and read about tonight. Gotta get dressed to go! Catch ya later!

| Hey! Thanks for the pic! Yes, he is very cool and YES the outfit is awesome! Where oh where will I get cool outfits for Milo? I think I am going to get him a shirt from Miniwoo - black and white striped. She has awesome boots that I want to get him. They are black with black velvet and cool straps. Do you know if his feet are the same size as other MSDs? I mean since you said that his legs will be a little longer than other MSDs I want to make sure the boots with fit before I buy them. When we got home today the little Pizza Party set was in the mail! Too cute! We also got the pizza peel I ordered from Amazon. We are tired of our pizza crusts not being crisp enough when cooked on pizza pans or stones. We want to cook them right on the rack from now on. I read great reviews about this pizza peel that was invented by an Italian pizza maker in Seattle. It has a really large base and a long wooden handle that folds for easy storing. It's aluminum. It is so nice I wish we were making pizzas tomorrow instead of Pork Roast! I put a big pork loin in the crock pot and cover it with a spicy chunky salsa and slow cook it. It is sooooo good like that! The boys love it! Mom and I had a very yummy grilled chicken spinach salad at Bennigans and raspberry iced tea that was the best iced tea I ever had! So refreshing. Rob stayed with my Dad. He was able to talk to me a little more today. He sat up a little. He goes from so hot he wanted to be naked while Rob was watching him, to so cold you can't cover him up enough. His shin isn't just leaking the water out the pores, it is flat out opening up and soaking his bed He was asking my mom for a kiss about every 5 mins. and thanking her and me for all we do. The saddest moment was when he asked my Mom to get him some mashed potatoes (about all he really likes to eat anymore) and she said in a few mins. He got huffy and said "No, I want them right now!" She said OK and went up to the kitchen. Then he looks at me and says "I can't wait until I am better and can do things for myself again!" I just wanted to cry. But I just said "Oh, I bet you can't wait!" Then he said "Oh Deb, I hope you never, ever have to go through what I am going through" I just patted his hand. Rob was with him for about 4 hours and me 2 hours. Then he wanted to nap. So did Mom. So we went for a ride and came home. It's chilly and a bit breezy, but very sunny. It still looks like winter here. Can't wait to start seeing some buds! Hope you had a beautiful day with Cole and your horses! Hubby too of course! When does your company arrive? Are you guys all ready for them? | |

| Glad you had a good visit. Sounds like your Dad was pretty chipper considering- hollering for his mashed potatoes and all.
If Mimiwoo gives a measurement of the boots, I will double check if they will fit. They sound cool, you should post a photo of them.
Let me know how the pizza peel works..I may have to have one too!
The weather here has been weird today. Nice in the morning, then with black clouds looking like it is going to rain any minute. Now sunny again! I need to go out and work with my mare for a while. I need to do something productive today!

| Very cool boots! He is so going to rock those! They should fit! They say the interior measurement is 62 which is about the right size since his foot is 55. Can you put the handle and everything in the oven on the pizza peel? How does it work? Must go run and put our Salmon in the oven...I am starved! Oh...hubby's sister will not be here until this Friday...massive cleaning tomorrow, but he will be off Friday to do all the last minute cleaning while I am at work! | |

| No, the pizza peel is only for putting the pizza in the oven and taking it out. It is so you can cook the pizza right on the oven rack so it is crispier than when you cook in on a pizza pan. That is what peels are for. Transporting the pizza onto the oven rake and then easily removing the pizza from the rake safely in one piece! You can make and than bake pizzas on a stone. We have done that many times. You know, the ones you get from Pampered Chief. I have several of those. There is a really cool pastry peel for taking bread in and out that comes with a special cloth, if you are into homemade breads. I am lazy and make all my homemade bread in our bread maker It is for people like my cousin who bakes with all that King Arthur flour stuff. You should have seen the King Arthur flour cookbook she got for Xmas! It was HUGE!!! Thanks for the info on the boots. I think I will get him those. All of the black Dollzone ones are still out of stock everywhere. I love that there is velvet on them. The price is fair too. I think they will go with the black leather pants and his stock comes with a black tank top. Look what I found at DDE! A bunch of clothes that will fit my girls! Also, I love the skull hoodie. I might get one for Milo if I get birthday money from any of my daycare moms. Most give gift cards, but sometimes I get cash. http://www.denverdoll.com/hautewwmsd.php ETA: OK, I bought the boots! Yes, I was bad this week but a male ABJD has GOT to have cool black boots! Now he will have his brown tennies, red boots and black boots, two pair of pants, two shirts, two pair of glasses, and 3 wigs. That's all he'll have for awhile. Damn, I wish he would get here! I am dying to see him!! Do you know if DDE will send me a notice when he ships? Probably. Most places do that. If you guys like to make your own pizzas and you would like to cook it on a stone, here is a great set at Amazon and it qualifies for free shipping. Pizza stone/peel set | |

| I just put my Pizza on the rack...I have a convection oven and everything comes out fab! I think I would get the Pizza peel before the stone. That would come in handy in getting it out!
I like the skull hoodie! He needs that! I don't know if it will be a tad small though since Goodreau dolls are smaller than Dollzone...It sure is great they make a lot of cute clothes for your girls.
I am plotting my next doll project. As you know I am into the steampunk victorian stuff. So I am going to buy some antique watch parts and try to make a steampunk monocle and goggles for my boy! I found some stuff on ebay and I am going to experiement with some stuff...will keep you posted!

| Good morning! Yes, I really want to get Milo the hoodie. I do not know if the Goodreau resin dolls are smaller like the vinyl ones are. The resin Goodreau girls can wear the MSD shoes. So maybe the boys are close to regular MSD size dolls. It is a fair price so I would love to give it a try. Miniwoo has black and white skull canvas shoes that would match and they are only a couple of dollars plus shipping. That would make a cute outfit for him! Oh, the monocle would be awesome!! Too bad the site I got the glasses from doesn't have monocles. Since so many people dress their BJDs in period clothes you'd think there would be more little accessories like that out there. Good luck with making one! I am sure it will turn out. You do such a good job with things like that. Look how fabulous your masks turned out!! What type of convection oven do you have? I have seen a counter top one at Circuit City for a reasonable price, but I really don't have the counter space for it. Some are so very expensive that I have to wonder how good the cheaper ones are. They seem like they would be great for pizza! So yes, what I got would be what you want. I looked up what is the best type of peel for getting the pizza out and most everyone felt that the aluminum got the pizzas out easier than the wooden ones. Though the wooded ones also make a nice chopping board. I do not use wood chopping boards though. I prefer the poly boards. Man, you and I are like the only people here this weekend Hope you have a great day. We are doing my folks state taxes today. We did the federal two weeks ago, but they always have to pay state taxes so we put that off We have to do the boys state taxes today too. We are not sure yet if they will have to pay the state. The both are getting nice little refunds from federal though! Also, cooking and cleaning. Sundays are so much fun ETA: Hey, have you been checking out Didi's photos lately? She is taking heads apart, swapping out eyes and is even going to sand a face! Oh, so brave! I just can't even bring myself to think about opening heads What if I broke something? AETA: Have you seen this wig that is a pre-order at JPOP? I just love it! I would LOVE to get this for Shyla! The pre-order price is $17 and it will come in sometime in April. I wish the rest of my stuff would sell so I could get this wig and the hoodie! Maybe I need to try a new marketing strategy. | |

No, I have'nt checked out Didi's photos lately, guess I have kind of lost interest in her goings on since she has drifted off into the twilight zone. Plus,I was'nt able to log into my contact's photos for about 10-12 days because I forgot my Flickr password...yes, I am a dork. It is fixed now... My convection oven is built in. It is a GE Profile. I found this very cool violin in the perffect scale for our dolls with bow and case that is a great price. I am waiting to bid on another antique miniature clock so I am letting this go...regretably, but I need more background stuff for sure. | WOW! The antique alarm clock is fantastic!! How are you ever going to wait 4 days!!!!!!! I go nuts waiting that long to see if I am going to win something If Milo turns out to be a musician I see him more coffee house, because I have decided he will be a writer and artist - painting and sketching. So he may get an acoustic guitar so he can sing at the coffee houses in Chicago's Old Town, where he will also read his poetry. So while the violin is very cool, it is not the instrument I see him playing. The trunk is awesome! I see that it is now $61 You know, if you Google those items there are other sites besides ebay where you can get miniatures. So maybe you would have some luck that way. When I get my heart set on wanting something really bad - the bidding can just get me so stressed. I know it is hard to find just the right scale of things. I am not going to stress about that. I will just do the best I can finding small pencils, paint brushes, art supplies etc. that will work good enough. Like the re-ments I have now. They have turned out so well! Now, when I was looking for the white wicker furniture for my girls I know there was a seller on ebay who made amazing wooden furniture. Not in my price range though. I will see if I can find some of his pieces. Though I have no idea if they are more Barbie size than MSD size.

The sofas are lovely though! http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/apostoliclady Well, I hear ya on having girls who are spoiled brats But, sadly there mom is a pushover and likes to buy them whatever they want! | I saw all those and they are nice...I just don't want red, pink, or, green for some reason! And nothing too overtly traditional. Gothic or victorian is fine, just not in those colors! I am thinking something really off the wall would be cool too. I saw some awesome modern leather couches on DOA I will have to show you. I am hesitate to buy from the seller though, because I asked to see a doll on one of them and they gave a weird answer...like the furniture was in their shop or something. Made me kind of suspicious. The next chapters in my story are in the future! Waaaay in the future! The world has gone back to steam and no electricity...victorian clothing is in vogue, but it has the steampunk twist! I am very excited about it. Even if not many people see it!

Have you tried Esty? There is lots of interesting things there. There is a guy that has some futurist stuff.
I found a seller on ebay with mini art easels. He has one 12 inches and one 7 inches. Which would be better for Milo? I am thinking 7 inches for when he sits down right?
I may wait until Weds. and hit Hobby Lobby. I know they have mini canvases and mini paint brushes. I would really like to find mini pencils and notebooks for writing.
ETA: Remember how I had $5 in my Pay-Pal balance? Well, I just found a miniature paint palette with a little brush for $3.50 shipped. It's two inches long. I think it will look fine in his hand.

| Artist Milo will have his supplies! I am not very good at the scale estimations for props for MSD's yet. So far I am always surprized at how big things need to be to show up, but you have shown me with your rement stuff that smaller stuff works sometimes too. I found a couch for a reasonable price...shipping is high, but if I can get it for 10.00 I am fine with that! I tried posting the first 3 chapters of the story at DOA and got practically zippo looks and even less posts. It is so huge over there... I am learning that it really does'nt matter. Even if a few people see it every now and again, I enjoy doing it so much-that is really all that matters! it actually takes some of the pressure off. | |

| The sofa is gorgeous!! Heck, that would look awesome in my living room!! I had seen a chair or sofa (can't remember) that I loved and it was at a good price to bid on and then I saw that they wanted $39 to ship it! It was from overseas somewhere. No way I would have paid that. I heard back from Nancie this morning. She is going to make an Alice dress just like the one in the picture, but with a solid pale blue. She is even going to make me the white pantyhose!! She cannot make it for a few weeks as she has other orders to do first. That is fine. I shouldn't spend more money on the girls just yet anyway I had also asked her where she got the shoes for her Goodreaus since she shows them modeling her clothes in solid color dress shoes. She says that the shoes for the Betsy McCall dolls fit perfect! So she gave me some ebay links to shoes. I am going to get the black ankle strap Mary Janes that are just like the ones in the Alice pic I posted here! I am so excited to find that out! "Meeting" Nancie is a god send! Not only did she hook me up with shoes, but she said she would make my girls anything I showed her a pic of that I wanted! Maybe that is a dangerous proposition Anyway, I am thrilled!! Yes, I am so glad I at least find Milo his palette. I have to get his easel and a canvas. I am not finding exactly what I want in the way of writing supplies though. I would also love to find a music stand and some sheet music. Yes, for me the re-ments work just fine, even if the proportions are not perfect. They are close enough, and give them all some character for displaying. I am going to have so much fun with that aspect of the dolls. Giving them personalities and fun little things "to do"! Now that I will have an Alice, I am seriously considering asking Nancie about a Snow White dress. I have always thought Rylee looked like Snow White. I'll just have to wait awhile on that though. Besides, I will need to figure out who I want Shyla to be and get pix to show Nancie. I think that is what I will do for Halloween. Have the girls be "fairytale" characters. My daycare little girls will be in Heaven with that! Milo can be a prince. I saw a silver prince looking outfit an ebay that I would LOVE to get him someday! Good luck in your search for all you steam-punk futuristic items! These upcoming chapters are going to be exciting!! Too bad more people don't read the stories at DOA. But, as you know, I am not that fond of that place anyway. Especially since they do not except my gorgeous girls! Hope you have a great day! I am off to buy my girls some shoes!!! ETA: EEEKK!! I am beside myself with happiness! I followed Nancie's links to shoes that will fit and one was for 4 pair of Mary Janes with straps and a little bow on the side in black, white, red and pink. The 4 pair lot was $24 shipped!! Can you believe that?! I am getting them 4 pair of shoes for $24! Perfect colors too! Thank God the shoe problem for them is solved! | |
