| OMG!!!!! Congrats! She is gorgeous! I love her tan skin tone and hair color! And her outfit is amazing! Can't wait to see the boots. How does she look with Clay? Her eyes are really unique...are they brown rimmed with orange? Cool! You and I must have cross posted or something....????*scratches head* either that or I just read that you thought you would be getting her Monday and skimmed right over it...but, I don't think so! Actually, the bracelet you made me is one of the few I can wear without it bothering me! I love it! ETA: And I see she got her famous FC eyelash job right off the bat! Perfect! | |

| Thanks! It was so funny, I had just said to Rob "I guess she will come on Monday" and Rob said "I think the Sugar Grove mailmen go to Yorkville to pick up the mail and then deliver to us." About two minutes later Justin said "Mom, come to the front porch!" He was on his way out to buy new shorts since the weather is getting nice. AND THERE WAS ALETTA! Yes, her eyes are brown trimmed in orange. Very unique and pretty! Those are the only eyelashes I had in the house. I am going to get her more dramatic ones when I am at the store tomorrow! Sorry, I didn't get her boots in. I was rushing. It is raining here and very gloomy so no way to get good pix. Her skin is a nice tan. Not too dark. I would have preferred her a little peachier, but that is OK. I have not put her next to Clay yet. I think they will look great together, except that he is in a suit and she is an angel I know I will be changing her into a lot of different outfits though. I kept all the best Barbie things for her. I am so glad you wear the bracelet. That is what I love about the crystal bracelets I make. They are not heavy or clunky. I LOVE bracelets. I always wear more than one at a time too. Rings and bracelets, ankle bracelets and toe rings! I love bling! But all my bling is pretty delicate pieces. No large earrings or big beads. Got to run! | |

| Yes, I wondered how you could forget Winda too! I am so glad that you got the box of minerals today! I hope you are happy with a lot of them. Your coloring is so different from mine that I thought a lot of those would be good on you. You are very welcome! Yes, I was quite shocked to see the "new" Pru! And so much of her | |

| Yes, Winda is my doll. Here is my girl with the burgundy hair. Her name is Shyla! Pru is Luca's usually Victorian doll, however, at the moment she is more Victoria Secret doll | |

| It was the wig and the necklace I swear! The artistic inspiration just came over me I guess, and I found a group that caters to artitistic nude, sensual shots so I thought I would try some. *shrugs* Pru is back to her more refined persona today though...You would totally approve! I adore Winda...she is still one of my all time fav dolls evah! I can see using that pretty dark orchid and blue/gray as an eyeliner for sure like you do and I tried out the rolling brown, gold, and tiny bit of that cargo orange so will definitely use those. All the really light and neon color glittery ones may be a bit young for me...I will save them for when I dress up in costume for horse shows though! Thanks again for sharing! I want some of those goodies that Shyla is having! Looks good enough to eat! | |

| Thanks! Yes, Winda is really awesome! I am so anxious for her to come out on Mother's Day! Those were lovely photos of Pru! I was just really shocked when I clicked on the link and saw nipple! It was interesting though to see the detail. My girls do not have "color" on their boobies. Shyla ALWAYS has sweets on her plate and yet she never gains an ounce! So not fair! I am glad you like some of the colors. I love the colors with some sparkle! Maybe you know some young girls who would like some of the colors. Most of the light ones I never really touched. Gotta run! We just got in from shopping and seeing my folks. It is sunny, 70s, no wind! We are grilling some steaks!!! We will eat when Justin gets home from work at 7:00 PM. Sadly, Eric will not be with us for our first grilling of the season. He is in downtown Chicago for a concert. Won't be home until late. But I am sure he would much rather be with a bunch of friends seeing one of his fave bands. Mars something that begins with a V I have heard their CDs from Eric's room and they are pretty good. | |

| Yes, I have been in a doll painting mood and was experimenting with pastels this weekend...and I added some gray shadow to Pru to see how it looked and liked it and will probably try to add some painted lashes and enhance her brows to give her face-up more interest at some point. I really love the monochromatic tones, but think she would be even more interesting with more color details added to her face-up. I had to remove most of the gray because I need to get some tiny brushes to add some lashes and liner before I permanenetly enhance her shadow. I wanted to see how the pastel and matte sealer would work and look that I have used on my Pullip custom projects so that is where the nip art came in. I want to see how it holds up with wear and tear so I left it. I am trying to avoid having to spray my dolls with sealer...(what a mess!) so I just redo parts of their face-ups and add manicures or pedicures and just seal the area I enhance with paint on sealer. I would never change Val, Mal, or Mohana's face-ups...they are perfectly done as is. Now Pru? Her's really does need some work. I love some of the things about her face-up, like her lips and the shape of her brows, but some more color and details will really make her look more expensive...if I can pull it off which I think I can. Have a great day with your folks! Your weather sounds much better than ours today. It is windy and cold here. I don't know if I will get to do much outside today or not now. It was starting to warm up and the sun was out, now it is overcast and looks like it is about to rain or snow... | |

| No, we went to my folks at 11:00 AM this morning. We have been back a few hours now. It is 4:30 PM here. We visited and I took my mom grocery shopping while Rob stayed with my dad. Do you mean that YOU painted her nips??? If you did - WOW! They look awesome. OK, that sounds a bit weird to say You are brave to paint Pru. I am glad that I am perfectly happy with my girls' face-ups and don't have to do anything to them - not even add lashes! Yes, it is the most perfect weather one could ask for! Rob is doing some yard work, listening to the White Sox game and drinking a beer - so he is in heaven! I'm doing a little cleaning but have all the windows open and I can hear the game everywhere I go Sorry to hear you have some bad weather. It sucks when the weather is bad on the weekends Back to cleaning! | |

| Yes, because of the weather my riding plans went down the drain. I did walk the dogs and did some ground work with my mare. She so needs some riding. She is getting out of shape, so I will do more stuff on the ground to excercise her and adjust her attitude a bit. They get lazy after having the winter off. She will be going to reform school in about a week or so...her happy life of leisure is about to change. And boy does she need it! Yes, I am quite proud of my nip painting ability...who would have thought? | |

| Well, your Mare sounds like me - in need of some good exercise! Sorry yesterday wasn't a better day weather wise for you guys. We thought yesterday was perfect, but today is even better! Sunny, 74 degrees and calm winds. I am going to my folks in a little while to watch dad while mom gets her hair done. Then I am going shopping for 3 birthday presents. I'm lucky I only have after schoolers today! I have 6 little ones tomorrow, but it is suppose to rain tomorrow so no biggie. I am off Weds. and right now they say that is going to be a beautiful day. If so I will feel very lucky! You did an amazing job painting Pru! No wonder you feel confident to give her a new face-up! Gotta run! Have a beautiful day! | |

| Hey! Cool you can visit while with your Dad.
I must say it is so fun to do face-up work and modifications on the dolls. I am getting more confident with what I am doing after reading and looking at how it is done at DOA...but pru's face is so tiny I know it is going to be harder than a Pullips' to work on. But, since I only want minor changes, I am excited to tackle them myself. Depending on how it goes, I could see myself buying a blank head someday and starting a face-up from scratch. I never thought I would ever say that either. How ironic!
Well, better get going to work!
Have a great day and hope you have a nice visit with your Dad.

| Yes, I saw the pix earlier! They are great! Yes, that wig was made for Mo. I love the woods in the pix. I take it that is your backyard? So beautiful! I got the Alice in Wonderland outfit today and it is AWESOME! The quality is amazing! She even made pretty undies to go with it! I will put Ianna in it tomorrow and try to take some pix. Hopefully it will not rain all day and there might be some sunlight. I got Aletta much prettier lashes today. She looks great! I also got my first pair of Sketcher today! They are so comfy and look great! Hopefully the other pair will arrive tomorrow. I also went to Hobby Lobby today to get some more beads to make some new earrings for my mom. While in the isle a lady asked me how to make earrings because she wants to make some for 40 girls in this HS group - colors black and orange. So I showed her how to make the earrings like the ones I make and wear and I helped her pick out all the things she needs to make them. That was fun! Dad was pretty out of it today. He kept asking me to squeeze his toes I guess his left stump was bugging him or something. No real conversation today He was really in a sad way today. His life really is just lying in that hospital bed with his eyes closed. He does like to listen to The Price is Right. He likes Drew Carey. So all and all a pretty good day. We could not have better weather! Simply gorgeous day. | |

I just sent an email to DDE asking if they could give me some idea when I might get my Megi-2. We shall see if they get back to me. It just has to be soon right???
TTYL!
Oh, I will be gone almost all of tomorrow, so not sure if I will get to take pix. I hope so, if not than Thursday (if the kiddies are good) or Friday when I am off.

Hope you had a lovely day and all is well. Guess what I got today! I am so pleased for the price I paid! The scale is just about right...maybe a tad big, but it definitely works! Now off to wolf down some chow and get ready for AI!

| Hi! Oh, it looks great!! It is so hard to get everything just the right size. I saw some beautiful "looking glass"/ full length mirrors at Hobby Lobby that would be so perfect to go with "Alice" but just too small. Even on ebay - all doll-house size. But I do think that the love seat looks just about right! It is beautiful and they look so handsome sitting on it! I love having furniture for the dolls instead of having them just stand there. At some point I would like to get furniture for all my dolls. I heard back from DDE. They placed the order on March 8th (just 3 days after my deposit) but the Chinese government has been turning off the power (I have no idea why) and Dollzone is two weeks behind getting orders out. She says they really believe they will have Milo, and the other dolls in that order, the first or second week of May. So I guess I am looking at at least two more weeks before he is home Oh well. Two weeks should go pretty fast. I am a little worried that my Dad may be in some trouble. Yesterday when I was there he was coughing a lot. My mom called after AI and said he was coughing even worse today. I wonder if it is just the fluid in his lungs or if he could be getting pneumonia That has me pretty worried. So now my mom is not sure she will keep her doctor's appointment tomorrow. She wants to try and stay awake and keep her eye on Dad as much as possible. Tell hubby he HAS to let you talk to me in the morning!! I worry! | |

| That does sound very concerning about your Dad...will the Hospice nurse be coming by tomorrow? Glad you approve of the couch! I now know how fun it is to have furniture props to really make a statement! 2 more weeks is not bad for your order...about what I expected considering the things I have heard are going on in China. I did'nt want to say anything though because I did'nt want to bum you out and was hoping that stuff would clear up and not delay your order. I waited 2 months for Val and Mal...so you will still beat me out. I will let Hubby know to never do that again... Back to Idol! I love Andrew Llyod Webber! | |
