| I hope you and your babies sleep good! I am still too excited to go to sleep. Hubby is already snoring So he'll never know I am still up so late! Yes, I have shopping planned tomorrow for birthday presents for 3 people, but I was also suppose to watch my Dad while my mom is at the doc. If she doesn't keep the appointment I will still be going there though. TTY in the morning! | |

| Hi! I am at my folks. I got out early this morning and hit Kohls for the birthday presents and Target for some birthday supplies. Then ran my mom to the doctor's office and I am watching over my dad. He is having a really hard time talking, but we did just have a little visit. Now he is sleeping.
I'll talk to you later when I get home in a few hours.
Hope you have a beautiful day!

| Hey, hope you had a great day! What a busy day with the kiddies I had today! We had a double birthday party and a big storm with lightning and thunder like you wouldn't believe The whole house shook like we were having another earthquake! I got the cute basket with all the bottles and cans of Coke. It could not be more perfect! Obviously I could not take pix today. Too crazy. Hopefully tomorrow, though our weather is suppose to be even worse! I guess April showers wanted to take one last swipe at us!! I so wanted to get a white rabbit for photos of Alice. I just cannot find one. Not even on ebay. I wil keep looking. Have you been to the Ala pix thread at PS? There are a couple of super cute pix of her. We are suppose to have some sun on Saturday. Maybe that would be a good day to take photos. Gotta run and make some dinner! TTYL! | |

Hey, bring over some of the Ala pics! I no longer have access to PS and am not going to bother to sign up again. I would love to see your photos of her!
I need to go attend to poor, forlorn babyman who has been neglected all day and needs to be fed. It is windy as hell, and cool...gah I can't wait for real Spring weather! Hopefully this weekend!

| Good morning! Well, I got obsessed with changing Pru's make-up last night until midnight and she has gone from all pink to something slightly different...Yes, I am a little crazy! I am pretty happy with the outcome, but did have some definite challenges to trying to add to an existing face-up without spraying the face with sealant first. She has enhanced brows, gray shadow, purple eyeliner, and enhanced lashes. The gray shadow does'nt really show up well in this photo. I put one coat of sealer on this morning and will add a glossy line under the eyes tonight...Sorry the photo is so washed out. I will take some more this weekend. I hope you are sitting down! Have a great day! | |

| WOW! She looks great! I can't believe how brave you are!! So you painted her eyelashes on the bottom and her brows? You did a great job! I would never in a million years have the nerve to do that! I can't even draw stick people - I would soooo ruin my girls! I cannot wait to see more, better, and closer pix of her! Did you use any of the make-up I gave you on her?
We are currently having bad storms. I won't be taking any pix today. It is so dark and gloomy. They promise us some sun tomorrow though. But guess what? They are talking SNOW on Monday!!!!!!! It is going to be 80 here today!! I think probably just around Lake Michigan will get the snow, but we are going to have highs in the upper 40s next week and lows in the 30s. It is crazy. I have been in short sleeves, capris and sandals all week. How can I go back to sweaters???

| I love those shoes!!!!! Those rock!!!! And for 16.00! What an unbelievable find! Glad you could kind of get an idea of what Pru's new make-up looks like from that terrible photo. i was in a huge hurry this morning and none of the photos were very good. I will try again this weekend after I gloss under her eyes and put her upper eyelashes back on. I had such a ball doing her face-up that it makes me think I will probably eventually try one using all the professional level stuff on a bald head someday. I really wanted to keep all the things I love about Pru the same, just to accentuate her features a bit and make her more interesting. The paste on lower lashes were starting to bug me, so i thought what the heck...if I hate it I can just wipe it all off before sealing it. The paint on sealers do smear a bit when going over pastels and watercolor pencil (which is what I used...without knowing all the ingredients in the make-up it is hard to know if it is safe on resin) so it does'nt give quite the crisp detail like the spray on sealer does, but you have to spray the entire face and I did'nt want to mess with that. That tan Megli's outfit is so cute! He sure makes an awesome vampire. Ala is really a pretty Pullip. I really like the white lower lashes too. I am still at work since I came in so late today...that is what I get for staying up paste 11:30 doing doll face-ups... Gotta run! Talk to you later! You better enjoy your summer whether while you can! | |

| Yes, what a lucky and awesome deal! I really had my heart set on getting the ones in light gold or white ones for the summer. I was trying to find the light gold ones on sale somewhere. Then while looking at them at Amazon the brown ones came up on clearance for $16 (and some cents - I can't remember) and they only had the brown left in a couple of large sizes like 10 and one pair in an 8 (it said 1 pair in stock) and I put it my cart and sure enough it came up $16. I am guessing because they are a winter color maybe? I can't think why else. If only the gold ones were that price! But I am thrilled to get such nice shoes for $16. I currently have an unhealthy obsession with Skechers! That is just so cool that you can do your own face-ups and that you may get a head to customize. THAT is something I will never join in with you I have no artistic talent at all I am so excited to see Pru when you have her all done and take some good pix! Yes, Ala is a really pretty girl. BTW, turns out I will be going out tomorrow. I have some errands to run, I'm going to take a birthday present to a friend and visit her awhile and then stop off at my folks. So I may not get around to taking pix tomorrow unless I don't get home too late. I'll try though. Couldn't enjoy the warm temps today due to the storms. We have had them on and off all day and evening. Hail, strong winds. I ended up not going out - that is why I have so much to do tomorrow. Eric even stayed in (he has no classes or work on Fridays) because it has just been nasty! Justin is out with friends, but he called about an hour ago to let me know they are all staying in at one guys house until all these storms are over. It's so funny - I was just reaching for the phone to call his cell and make sure he was off the road when the phone rang and it was him. I guess my mommy worry vibes really travel through to my kids without me even picking up the phone ETA: I just had to share this pic - the 4 girls standing up are some of my daycare kids. Aren't they just adorable?! | |

I am quite pleased that she came out about how I had hoped. She is such a beautiful doll...I just love her! There are about 7 more up on flickr now too. Sounds like you have another busy, but fun day tomorrow! Don't worry I will wait for you to take pictures...I'm not going anywhere!

| Yes, it was a princess party for Skylar's second birthday! She is the one with the glasses. She is a pistol though - she is into hitting, scratching and hair pulling. I think she is going to be on the womens pro wrestling team! Her 5 year old brother is a perfect angel though! Go figure Pru looks simply amazing!! I cannot believe she is the same doll that came home to you from ebay! You have really turned her into one incredible work of art! The lower lashes are about the best I have ever seen in doll photos! You are so talented! I cannot imagine how proud you must be of her. You took such incredible photos of her too! I especially like the one with the glow on her face. Dymphna customized one of her Blythes and she is actually super cute! She didn't do a face-up, just buffed and matted her face, swapped eye chips and put her in a super cute layered red wig with bangs. She looks so much better than normal Blythes. You ladies are brave! I will not be opening any heads, swapping out eyeballs or painted faces! Changing wigs and clothes - that I am good at! Have a great day! Hope you have better weather than us! We are only going to be in the 50s (it is 38 right now) with 35 mph winds! You have no idea how hard it is to keep my huge van going straight in the strong winds on the open and winding farm roads But it is sunny so that is something! We are going to be in the 50s all the way to Thursday. Than we should get in the low 60s. Hard to believe it is almost May! Our pear trees just bloomed yesterday and when we have strong winds it blows all the little pink flowers off Makes me so mad! We only have the pink flowers for a short time anyway and than the damn winds cut the time even shorter! TTYL! | |

| I am so thrilled you think my lashes are that good! I am very excited and pleased with my adventure in doll customizing. As a matter of fact, so is my husband! He wants to try to learn how to do doll customizing...with the idea of getting good enough to start a small customizing business! How wonderful is that?????? It did take me some time to feel ready to tackle changing her face, but once I read up on techniques and how to do it, I eventually got the courage to try it since I could just wipe off a mistake with a Mr. Clean eraser! I am very seriously considering getting an AOD Chi without a face-up (the vampire elf boy!) for us to practice doing a complete body blushing, tatoo, and face-up together on!!!! AOD has recently made some changes in their body and it is supposedly even nicer than before! Their prices are also going up May 1st by 20.00, so if I can swing a deal to get the new body for the 175.00 price, I may have a new doll coming! Hope you have a lovely day! It is quite sunny and warm here for a change! I guess we have to take turns with the nice weather. TTYL! | |

| Actually today is not that bad. It is very sunny and 55. Pretty windy though. Rob was able to mow the lawn and get some yard work done. I had fun visiting my friend. She loved the watch and book I bought her for her B-Day and she gave me the matching bracelet and earrings for the necklace she got me for Xmas! I told her I was so hoping she would do that Got some shopping done and popped in at my folks for a wee bit. Mom is making her famous meatloaf today. I should have stayed for dinner, but I promised Justin I would make his fave chicken before he leaves for work. Justin ran to Wal-mart go get some new shorts for the summer and while there he found some really nice tan cargo pants on clearance for $5! He was thrilled! So now he understands why I was so excited about my shoe deal yesterday. That is really exciting about you guys getting into the customizing business! Too bad I can't afford any more dolls I can't wait to see how it all works out for you two! I could just see my hubby's face if I asked him if he wanted to paint dolls with me It is so nice that you guys are enjoying this hobby together! Well, got to go get dinner out of the oven! TTYL! | |

| Yes, my husband is definitely in touch with his artistic feminine side with his art talent, decorating, design etc. He hates shopping, cleaning, and does'nt cook though so he is a normal guy in most other respects. Here is the AOD boy I am seriously thinking of getting from a seller on Ebay-he has a really bad face-up, so you can't really see how cool he really is with this photo. I love that wig... I am thinking of making him a redhead, elf of the woods.: | |

| I swear, my hubby has no feminine side I guess the closest he has come is he cried when our boys were born and held them for the first time. Such a sweet moment. Other than that - sooooooo guy A great guy, but a guy! That elf boy is very cool! I also love the wig! I think his eyes are gorgeous! How fun for Mo to have an elf boy!! I hope you get him! Bidding is so scary I bought some of those lashes you gave me a link to. The more I looked at the photos of that tan Meigi where the owner added lashes the more I thought I should have some here for when Milo gets here just in case I wanted to add them. I have no idea if he comes with any lashes at all. Featherfall has pulled all the fullset pix and said none will be available. I wonder what that means? The other night Rob and I watched Craig Ferguson being interviewed on Letterman. He was talking about his young son named Milo. Rob said "Who the heck names their kid Milo?" I said "ME!" I finally got some blue jeans for the girls. A new seller on ebay hand makes clothes for Ellowyne and she had these cute jeans, top and necklace that I won for $3! The set came Friday and is super cute! Not sure when I will be changing them into anything else since I LOVE what the are wearing right now, but how great to have them for $3 and $2 shipping. Cold and gloomy today and for the next few days. Some sun and 65 on Weds. so YAY for that since I am off on Weds.! I am making a Mesquite Lime pork roast today in the crock pot. I sure hope it tastes as good as it sounds The lime worries me a little. I like it, but not sure if the boys will. Oh well, they need to expose their taste buds to new things! I had a total moment of terror this morning like you would not believe!! Justin was out with friends last night after work. His curfew is midnight. He always comes home by curfew and usually even a little earlier. SNL was a rerun last night and both Rob and I were tired. We went to bed before midnight - which I never do. I always wait up for Justin to get in. But I just couldn't last night. So Rob and I sleep in today. At 8:00 AM Rob gets up, comes back in our bedroom and says Justin isn't home and his car isn't in the driveway. I knew he would never stay out all night! I knew he would call if he wanted to spend the night at a friend's house. So I totally panicked that something happened to him! Called his cell with my heart racing! He was suppose to work today from 1:30 PM until 6:30 PM (his normal Sunday hours) but last night they asked him to work the early morning shift and he forgot to tell me. He left for work at 5:30 AM! Now, if only I had thought to check his closet for his work uniform before getting all upset and calling him Needless to say, when he got home from work at 10:30 he got one heck of a hug! Of course he was just laughing at me for being all "weirded out" about it! Hope you have a great day! | |

| I don't blame you at all for being weirded out! What mother would'nt? That is good he laughed and that it was funny instead of getting irritated like some teen boys would...or maybe that is more a teen girl thing to get irritated at any motherly concern! *scratches head* Well I went ahead and bought him now directly from the AOD Ebay site. It says they will ship in 7 days and I like the sounds of that! He will have gray/green eyes like the character I am going to make him. The influence will be an older version of Gump from the movie Legend. One of our all time favorite flicks! This is hopefully going to be a very fun project for us if we don't completely clash about creative issues! We both are quite opinionated, but I am the more experienced doll artist. I think I am going to assign him the body blushing and tatoo and see how that goes. He will be a great resource on color blending for the painting. This is going to be an extremely interesting experience! Who knows...maybe a Jack and Lily will follow someday...Pru would make a decent Lily with a different wig and perhaps different colored eyes. I think Mia Sara has brown eyes...I adore that flick. The jeans and stuff you found sound great! I know what you mean about not wanting to change your girls out of what they are wearing when you get perfection... I am going to need your help finding the right wig like the one in the AOD site photo...size 7-8 | |

It is one of our all time fantasy films evah!!!! I just bought the DVD on Ebay. We have been looking for it forever, and now need it for our latest project. For now, we will call the new elf boy "Gump" until his rightful name is chosen. He will come without a face-up, but with free eyes that I probably won't use, but what the heck. I am getting the new, improved body so that rocks. I ordered some sealant off Ebay and am waiting for my shipping total...I hope I get it today so they will mail it. I want to have it in hand so when I get the doll I am ready to go. I don't know if I will get him before you get Milo...you may get him in a few weeks right? Not sure that is the same thing though Maybe some day I will check it out, even though I will have to hold my nose while watching Tom Cruise Cool that you are getting him with no face-up. He will be a clean canvas for you! Be sure and take pix of him right out of box so I can see how he looks pre-transformation!! Yes, a couple weeks for Milo they said. Featherfall is showing no pix of the fullsets and says none available. You may be able to buy Meigi-2 nude. I just don't know. The fullsets are showing up at DDE at the moment. Maybe Featherfall just doesn't want to take any orders since China/Dollzone are having issues. Back to working! TTYL! Hope you have a great day!

| Well, so much about touching base from work. Wow, what a strange day is all I can say. Hope you had a good one. I wonder what is going on with the second edition of Megi and Mo's ...maybe they were a limited edition and they are all gone now. They did only come in fullsets. You cannot buy the dolls separately. Man, not many people seem to have gotten theirs yet either. There sure are not many photos showing up yet on DOA. I am dying for you to get him almost as much as you are! I was not expecting to get another doll this soon, but I saw a golden opportunity when hubby showed some real interest in learning how to customize... I don't know if it will ever be a money making venture...but don't tell him that! All I know is I know how to time things where he is concerned and I went for it! I will bring over the prototype photoshop of the design I am working on based on some inspiration from my fav doll artist on DOA later. Well, I need to go feed the animals, then go take babyman for a walk to clear my head. It was a sad day in the neonatal intensive care unit today. I will leave it at that. | |

| I had a good day. I cleaned out my walk-in closet and re-organized it. You know, moving the winter stuff up and getting all the spring/summer clothes in order. Plus I have Am-Vets coming on May 7th and I wanted to get some stuff packed up for them. I have two Hefty bags filled already! Then Clay was on QVC singing songs from his new CD that comes out on May 6th! He was great and it was so exciting to hear him sing new songs! The weather sucked so it was a great day to stay in and get things done. DDE has two Meigi-2 nudes for sale. One normal and one tan. That's all I know. I am so anxious for him to get here. I assume DDE will send an email when they ship him and I am going to go nuts when I get that email!! I can't wait to see your prototype! Today I put QVC on about an hour before Clay came on and they had a digital photo frame that is small and closes up like a cell phone. It holds 1000 pix and does lots of cool things. I would LOVE to have that! You can take all your pix will you in your purse to show people at parties or weddings or anytime you get together with people who you don't see that often. It's great for vacations to load all your pix into. I told hubby I want that for an anniversary present! We'll see, but since Rob loves stuff like that I think it will happen. So I get where you are coming from when you saw the opening to get the new doll | |

Well, I had a glass of wine with dinner and it has been downhill ever since. I had great plans of downloading some photos, but just don't have the energy now. I guess I heard wrong about the Megi 2's on DOA. It is easy to take something as gospel when really some of these folks really don't have a clue! They have been showing that since I ordered Milo. Hope you have a great day! I have wee ones coming soon. Only two today. | Hopefully, you are worrying for nothing! Well, I finally got around to downloading since I got off a little earlier today... Please forgive the imperfect left eyebrow on this prototype photoshop of elf/vamp boy...This was inspired by the next two photos from custom artists I admire. He will have an earthtoned face-up as shown, but the eyes will probably be more subtle since we don't know how to air brush yet. There may be some more tweaking involved. I am also thinking of doing some henna style painting tatoo designs on the feet, hands, and arms. We'll see how it goes when he gets here! I like the brown fangs in the second photo, but also like them white as shown in my photoshopped version. What do you think?
