There are reports that Clay and his female EP are expecting in August. Waiting to see if that is true or not.

I am just glad I can stay in and watch the storms and I do not NEED to go out. I will have to keep my eye on the pumps though pale Eric will be working tomorrow night. I hope they all pass by then.

Um I saw that on tvtattle. Is that true? I was very skeptical.

FC is making the earrings hard? I have been going crazy making bracelets. I love it. But I am a little scared of the earrings.

YAY! I am so happy to hear you are making bracelets!! Isn't it fun? I have made so many now I have lost count! I have made matching earrings and ankle bracelets for every bracelet I have made! This will be my first necklace though. It will be easy, just my most expensive piece since I had to buy so many Swarovski crystals and rhinestones.

The earrings are so easy you wont believe it! Take the part that looks like a straight pin, add the beads to it the way you want them, trim the pin to 1/4 inch above the last bead, take your thin needle nose pliers and loop that 1/4 inch of pin and put it in the earring hook of your choice! I make a pair in about 5 mins. or less!

Clay? Who knows. Last night it seemed legit as it was supposedly confirmed by the Foster family and on a ton of so called "reputable" news sites. The story originated on TMZ and to me they are just a gossip rag so I didn't really believe it. So I do not know if the other sites just ran with the TMZ story or did get some confirmation. Late last night the Foster family supposedly said it was true she was pregnant, but that Clay was not the father. No comment from Clay or his people at this point. Knowing Clay he won't comment. He never does when it comes to his personal life. He used to, no one in the press believed him and they made stuff up about him anyway, so he said he will no longer comment on his personal life. So I guess we are all in wait and see mode Razz If the kid has red hair, freckles, big ears and sings like an angel - then we will know Laughing

Here are some good sites for making the drop/dangle earrings - which is the only kind I make!

http://www.beadage.net/drop_earrings/drop.shtml

http://www.jewelrymall.com/how-to-make-earrings.html

http://www.jewelry-making.com/dropearrings.html

What I love the most is that you can make jewelry to match everything you wear perfectly!

Thank you FC!! I am going to try to make some today. I made Mather's day bracelets for Mother's day. My Mother loved hers. I find it very relaxing.

EEEK!! My first necklace turned out beautiful! I am so pleased! It was easy, just pricey Laughing BUT it will be awesome with the outfit I am wearing to the wedding! I already have earrings, bracelet and ankle bracelet to match so I am all set now with my wedding bling!

I got everything done today that I wanted to get done! YAY me! Tomorrow I birthday and grocery shop. Both my mom and hubby have birthdays next weekend. Busy busy!

With all the stuff I got out of the way today I HOPE to start taking doll photos either Sunday or Monday. Crossing fingers for some sunshine. Today the weather has sucked! but not as bad as they predicted - at least yet anyway!

Anyway, I feel my hobby loves coming back (dolls and jewelry making) so I am slowly getting my old self back. cheers

I am so happy for you my lady! That is such a good sign. Can't wait to see your new necklace set! It sounds really lovely and perfect for your wedding outfit! It is so fun to design and create isn't it?

It is a beautiful night tonight and I am so tired I am just going to have a diet coke on the deck and read a magazine. This week has kicked my butt. Just a lot of changes going on at work topped off with staying up too late too many nights.

And I absolutely can't wait to see Milo again in all the cute stuff you bought him! And with his laydees!!! Wink

I will be back a little later!

Sounds like a lovely evening you have planned! Due to the storms and humidity it would not be a nice night to sit out on our patio No Maybe Sunday. Tomorrow is suppose to be cloudy and windy. Lord we have had so many windy days Mad 30 MPH winds they say for tomorrow.

Yes, I will take a pic of the new jewelry I have made.

I am looking forward to playing with the dolls again. I really hope this week too. I am going to be pretty busy. I won't be home tomorrow, Weds. Friday, or Saturday. Friday we go to the church with the urns, pix, flag, etc. and set everything for the memorial service on Saturday. Plus Friday is my mom's birthday and after we set-up the memorial table I will take her out for a nice lunch. The week after that school is out and 4 days a weeks I will have 8 kids! Shocked It will be fun! I enjoy having the older ones here. I have had the same group of older kids for summer break for 6 years! So they all get along great and are really easy to take care of.

I even looked at some photos of dolls at DOA tonight to help get my interest back up! I saw some great shots of Meigi-2s! He is such an adorable boy!

Well, back to Clay boards! They have been a trip today! Razz

Good luck on your doll trial Aerwin! That sounds like such a fun hobby!

Oo-0 you have a busy week ahead FC! I slept in and am slowing feeling almost human! It is another lovely day and I need to take babyman for a walk this morning. So what are you up to today? Is it a good photoshoot day today?

I may have purchased a doll head for 50.00 including shipping. Shocked We'll see if the seller accepts my offer. It has a lovely face-up, but I thought for that price we could use it as a practice head...or I could switch it out on either Mo or Prudence's body for variety. It has a dark gothic, but pretty face-up. We would probably redo it, but if it looks half as good as it does in the photos...May have to leave it or parts of it alone. Shocked

Good luck on getting the head!

Well, my evening took a detour! Shortly after we ate Justin left to go out with friends. About 5 mins later he calls from his cell. He has a flat tire. So off I go to get him, put on the spare, drive to Walmart as they put on tires until 8:00 PM and it was 6:15. Got him two new front tires, a tire gage, and a leather steering wheel cover, as he said his hand slipped off of the steering wheel (where it is wore down and too smooth) and caused him to hit a curb and mess-up the tire. What's another $200 Razz He will pay me back $50 a week until the tires are paid for. As long as we where waiting there we got him a new pair of black dress pants, a black belt and a nice gray dress shirt to wear to the memorial service. I also just ordered him these Osiris shoes he wanted to wear Saturday. He will look very nice. Eric needs new dress pants, but he has everything else he needs.

So that was my evening! Laughing

Sounds productive... but a little expensive! It is a really great thing your kids both have jobs at times like this!

Well...are you sitting down?
I just could not pass up this head for 50.00. Shocked It is one of the most stunning face-ups I have ever seen. The eyebrows may need some touching up to even out by my hubby...but, with a wig on I may just leave them as is. I am going to see how the head looks on Mo's body since it is normal skin and maybe the right size. I think I am going to get her some dark magenta, burgundy eyes. She will be good for my dark Princess Lily when she is transformed by the Prince of Darkness perhaps. Especially since my husband is going to try to make his first unicorn to go with my dolls...we purchased the instructions from a wonderful artist that does amazing unicorn sculptures and he is going to try and make bigger ones for doll people. This is really even a better fit for him than our previous idea of doing face-ups then trying to sell the heads. He is really excited about it and so am I! My Gump and dark princess lily will have some unicorns in their futures!

OMG! She is stunning!! I LOVE the eye make-up! I love shadow with sparkles in it!! Her lips are beautiful! How cool that you can swap heads and stuff! Magenta eyes will be perfect with the dark shadow!

Unicorns??!! Oh, my mystical sisters would so love a unicorn! Of course they are not BJD size. I cannot wait to see pix of your unicorns!

Yes, it is good that Justin can pay us back. He will be taking home about $100 a week from his part time job now with his new position.

Eric is doing well because he took on extra nights since a driver quit. He now works Monday night, Tuesday night, Thursday night, Friday night and all day Saturday and Saturday night Shocked He is only off Sundays and Wednesdays.

Glad you like her too! The more I looked at the head, the more it grew on me. I also adore the eye shadow and lips! I just had to have it! It is a Luts/Fairyland mold...the complete dolls with body are over 500.00! I know I will probably never pay that for a doll...so it is kind of cool I will have this head at such a good price and can make a hybrid out of it by putting it on other bodies. I dread taking Mo's head off because I love her dearly...but I'm afraid she may have to share bodies with this girl if the head looks good on the body. If the resin color does not match, I may have to buy her a Dollzone or other type of body that does'nt cost 345.00!

Hubby will make you any size unicorn you want if he gets it all figured out and you decide you want one! Since I still have the Pullips he can use them to figure out the right size for a unicorn for them to ride on! Wink

I am in desperate need of a shower now!

A Luts head?! What a lucky girl you are!!!!!!!!! Luts dolls are soooo amazing! I really cannot believe you got a Luts head for such a great price!

Well, it is gorgeous today! Lots of sunshine, NO WIND, 81 for a high. Too bad I will be in cleaning house Mad

I bought some thick and gorgeous pork chops to grill for today's dinner! YUM! I do love the warm weather so we can grill and eat outside.

I cannot believe this is the last week of school. They only go Monday and Tuesday. Time for my life to get crazy again! I do love it when the boys get to sleep in and we have more time to visit. Now between school, work and their friends, I see them so little Crying or Very sad

PostSubject: Re: Dolls   Dolls - Page 31 Icon_minitimeSun Jun 01, 2008 12:34 pm

So glad you have a perfect weather day ahead! We are going to be sunny and 75 so I am going to go get dressed and take one of the horses and Cole for a 1 1/2 hour ride close by. Later, a friend has asked me to accompany her to look at a horse.

Yes...I never really thought I would have a shot at a Luts head with such an awesome face-up either. I thought maybe I would get a blank head to practice on...but this face-up is so gorgeous I don't think I will be wiping it off. There is no way we could match it or make it better. The mouth is to die for. Now I have some other decisions to make and I need your help.

I preordered a custom wig from JPOP that was created with Helena Bonham Carter's character from Sweeney Todd as the inspiration. I fell in love with it and ordered one back in March. You can see it on their website. I fell in love with the style and color and thought I would use it on Willow since it is an 8-9 or would try to modify it to use on Pru. Well, the wig still has not arrived and I contacted Grace and she said it would be here a week or so ago and so far no wig. I found a 6-7 black curly wig that looks awesome on my new head Dark Lily I am calling her for now...
I am thinking about contacting Grace and asking for a refund and just getting the black wig, but i think the colors look really good on the dark lily head too and all the tendrils suit the dark Lily style from the Legend movie I am going for. I don't really care about the money...I am thinking I would like both wigs. I can always sell the Helene one and recoup my money later if I don't want it when it comes.

I agree...both wigs look equally good so I am stumped. Evil or Very Mad I think Grace has run into some delays from the maker in China...maybe I will wind up getting a refund anyway on the Helene wig. I guess I will just wait it out and see what transpires. I am thinking I will have to buy one of her long white size 9-10 mohair wigs to use for my unicorn's mane and tail anyway. I think I will order the black wig after I get the head and see if she is going to be compatible with Mo's body. If not, there is no sense getting in a rush to get her eyes and a wig now. She will have to wait until I find out what type of body I want that will work and that I can afford!

Had a glorious ride on Ardeo out by ourselves...now that is close to nirvana. The horse I am going to look at with my friend is a freebie that the people are trying to find a good home for. My friend wants my moral support more than anything...she has already made her mind up to get it.

TTYL! Enjoy your chops! Yum Yum! I don't have a clue what I am making for dinner. Shocked

Hey! Hope you had a great day! I ended up getting a lot of work done in the playroom getting it ready for the older kids to start up on Thursday. There was early dismissal today and I ended up with some after schoolers from 3:00 to 6:00. Went over some financial issues for my mom and did some paperwork. Not exciting stuff, but things that I had to get done.

Busy trying to stay caught up with Clay news. He sang to President Bush last night at some Gala that will be shown on TV. Then some TMZ asshat reporter got in his face after the gala and Clay shoved the camera into the guys face! LOVED IT!!!!!!!! Go Clay! I hate how disgusting the paps have gotten. TMZ are the ones who got their hands on medical records and today they even announced the sex of the baby No Gee, I hope Clay and Jaymes weren't planning on announcing that fact to their family and friends themselves Rolling Eyes I hope they can sue their asses!!

Well, I got a PM from Didi this afternoon and while at PS I fell in love with this doll! She is a Lati! I went to one of their sites and I adore these dolls! Sadly, they are costly, but I would so love to get one either as a little sibling or a child for Milo and Ianna!

ADORABLE!

Lati dolls are really nice. I think the type you like is a Lati yellow. They can wear Pullip/Blythe size shoes and some clothes I think! cheers Yes, pricey indeed! I think a few hundred like the pet dolls...but probably cuter and more worth it in the long run. I do love Mal, but he just is not as versatile as my other non-pet dolls. I doubt I will get another, but still love him. I am coveting a Lati Blue doll (MSD size) that was realeased and sold out by the name of Kahn...I need him as my Tom Cruise (Jack) character for my legend characters.

Well, I got my little fiddle/violin and snapped a few shots of Thorn with it! I think it is the perfect prop for him! Unfortunately, Mo does'nt. Twisted Evil

Yes, she is a Lati yellow. I didn't know they could wear Pullip clothes Shocked I thought it they would be smaller. Good to know! The ones I looked at were $200 before face-up, wig, eyes and clothes Shocked So that would be a tough choice to make - a Lati or another MSD boy scratch Guess I will have to see what is out there near Xmas time - hey, only 6 months to go! Razz

Yes, busy week. Hey, the whole summer is going to be busy with so many kids! affraid

Great pix of Thorn! I actually have that violin (it came with a boy doll I got many years ago) but I lost the bow somehow Crying or Very sad You have the perfect grounds for your photoshoots!

Well, the good thing about all those kids for the summer is all that money for dolls, new sketchers, and whatev! cat I think only some of the Pullip clothes will work...I think the Lati yellows are about Mal's size...6 inches or so. He can wear a few Pullip things as you have seen, but has wider feet so can wear those van shoes and that is about it from the Pullip shoes I have. I did find some very cute Lati yellow clothes and shoes that are made just for that line and they were'nt that expensive either.

I love that violin. That is cool you have one too! They advertised it as American Girl doll size, but I think it is a bit smaller which works well for MSD's.

Thanks about the grounds being good for photoshoots...It is nearing it's peak in June so I am taking advantage of it now!

Have a great day and TTYL!
