| Mohinder and Mohana!!!! That is hilarious! For some reason I am liking Jarlath out of that bunch...Thanks FC. I was kind of hoping for a one syllable name since Mohana is so long. Well, off to ride the horsies in the heat...at least it is supposed to be cooler today down in the mid to upper 80's! TTYL! | |

| Oh my laydee! You have outdone yourself again!!!! I also am leaning towards the nature themed names since he is a wood elf prince like Leaf (Leif), Thorn, Storm, Dusk, or Moss. But also like Seth and Rune... I think we will have to see him in his finished form to make a final decision since there are so many suitable names now to pick from! Hopefully I will be able to pick him up in the morning and we can start the customizing process tomorrow night! I dropped my mare off today at the trainers... let the reform school begin! She is going to have to work now! She will probably get ridden 4-5 days per week! The two geldings are missing her and were calling out to her tonight after they ate. But, this is so good to break up the herd for a bit and get them used to adapting to change. | |

| Good morning! Thanks, but it was easy. I Googled "One syllable boy names" and that list came up. So I just copied and pasted it here. I really like all of those names you picked out of the list. I really like Moss and Lief and Thorn the best. Storm is a cool name but sounds more current to me for some reason. "Thorn and Mohana" - those two sound really good together. Sad that you all are missing your Mare You will have to give her a nice welcome home party when she returns! I can't wait for you to get home tonight and let me know all about your new elfvampboy! You will start customizing tonight? Wow! Too exciting! Hope you have a great day! I bet it will drag since you will be so anxious to get home!! It was always that way for me. The more exciting the evening plans were the longer the day went TTYL~ | |

| Thorn and Mohana just goes together does'nt it???? I will have to make him a little dark and macho to fit that name! Yes, he is waiting at the post office! I can't wait to get him! I won't be able to leave work until 5:30, but we should be able to start the customizing process tonight! We will first need to spray a base coat of sealant on his body and face, then we can start his body blushing!!!! I will take photos as we go!!! TTYL and have a good day! | |

| Ok, so I got him!!! Picked up the box on my way to work and openned him at the end of the day when everyone else was gone! He is very cool and has completely met my expectations! I have waited so long and am so excited about starting the customizing process that we started tonight! Sorry, in all our haste no pictures! I will take some tomorrow though...promise! I took his head off and removed the boring acrylic eyes he came with. Then we proceeded to do the first layer of mister super clear which was as easy as pie! It dries almost instantaneously and you would never know that it is there except it gives a tooth to the resin so things will stick. We mixed up the pastels to get the right color for the body blushing and hubby is going to start working on that after he takes a shower. I am going to take the dog for a walk and then it will be bedtime before we know it! If only he would have come a day earlier...we could have had him almost finished by now...Oh well, this is going to be such as blast!!! Are you ok? It is not like you to be so quiet. Forgive me for worrying a little. | |

| Good morning! How cool you got to pick him up before work!! I wouldn't have a clue how to body blush Explain to me what you do for that. I look forward to all the pix! I could just never remove the head and change eyes I'd be shaking like a leaf I'm pretty much OK. I am still sad and haunted. Just not really into things right now. I am reading a lot of AI and DC boards. Also, yesterday I cleaned out the master bath closet and steam cleaned the shower stall and tiles in the boys' bath. I was just doing some spring cleaning. I just haven't been quite able to get into the dolls, photo taking or jewelry making since Dad died. I know the desire will come back at some point. The desire is in my head, just not my heart. I have lots of little ones today so I will be pretty busy - which is good for my head! I am so nervous about DC tonight my tummy is in knots! I'm glad I will be gone all day tomorrow and I will try not to think about the finale results while I am out! (yeah right ) Have a great day! TTYL~ | |

| I totally understand about not getting the joy out of some things that you usually do because of your loss. I am glad to hear you are still getting joy from David Cook and your main man Clay to help get you through this difficult time.
I will take photos tonight of what we have done so far! It has been an absolute blast so far! I can't wait to start the face-up tonight too! You have to do things in steps so you get the right effect. I will explain the body blushing in more detail when I get home tonight and get a photo or two. Yes, I was a little nervous to completely take the head off, but it accidently happenned on one of the others and ever since-I now know how it all attaches so am not as freaked about taking it off.
Hope you had a good day with all your sweeties! I bet it did you good to see their smiling faces today.
TTYL! I get off in about 45 minutes and can't wait!

| Well, I watched Idol and we won't even go there tonight. I'm sure you are off commiserating with other David Cook fans out there. It is not good what happenned, but remember if he does'nt win he will be much better off-just like Clay is much better off than Rueben, Daughtry is much better off than Taylor etc, etc. I bet Clive or whoev is waiting in the wings waiting to give him a record deal. So I just can't get too emotionally invested in the outcome of AI anymore. I think David C. will land on his feet and I am looking forward to see what direction he goes. Well, but as you know I have been getting obsessed with the doll customizing as you know. It has just brought the creative, artistic part of the hobby to a whole other level. We finished the body blushing tonight and put on two finish coats on to seal our work. it came out awesome if I do say so myself! I am chickening out on doing a tatoo...I just don't know if we are quite ready for that. The dolls are so small...I don't know how Sirenita did it on Bill so successfully! I did most of the application of the pastel, but hubby helped me get the color right and did do some of it too. He did all the sealing...he has had tons of experience with that so that was all his! He also measured out where the eyebrows should go and drew them in based on my specifications and now the face is starting to come together... It is going to be so cool to put him back together in a few days when I have all the finishing touches done! I am even planning on custom cutting his wig...I hope I don't ruin it! TTYL! I will be ready to take photos tomorrow or Thursday for sure! I did most of the first layer of the face-up | |

| Good morning! Yes, I have been venting in the AI thread! I do know that DC will do just fine either way, but I HATE that he was treated that way No excuse for the lack of respect shown to that kid after how amazing he has been all season. Simon is a complete and total dick. So happy for you guys that it is all working out so well! I cannot wait for the pix! Be sure and get close-up so I can see the blushing. Well, mom and I are going to the big mall today. It is about 45 mins. away from my mom's house. We are going to do some shopping for the wedding we are going to June 15th. Also we are going to eat lunch at one of the nice restaurants there. Then we will hit Meijer on the way back. I'll be gone all day and I guess that is a good thing for both of us. Justin is staying home from school today. He hurt his toe yesterday at school, banged it on something. It is swollen on the side and a little bit bruised. I do not think it is broken, but I want him to stay off of it and take Advils (which they will not let the kids take at school). If things are worse tomorrow Rob will take him to the doc as he has the next two days off. We are both off Friday so we plan to do some flower shopping and planting! Finally! Got to run. Have a wonderful day! Talk to you tonight! | |

| Well, Thorn is officially finished and I have some photos posted on Flickr. I must say it was a labor intensive process and kind of nerve racking, but I am smitten with customizing big time. My husband was a big help, but kind of messed up a bit this morning after getting over confident and I had to erase some stuff he did...but I would have never got the eyebrows or eyeliner as good without him. I owe him big time. I need to re-attach Thorn's head, but need hubby's help to do it-so just took a quick shot or two to give an idea of what he looks like finished with his wig. Hope you enjoy! TTYL! I have to go take the dog out and then will be riding later. BTW, I am off for the next two days because I have to work Saturday! | |

| I understand! You have every right to be on cloud nine over Cookie's big win last night. It is so nice to be so pleased with the outcome for a change isn't it??? Thank you so much for your compliment about Thorn! It was definitely a labor of love for sure and such a learning experience about the techniques and difficulties that are involved with doll customizing. I really love the creative process of it all...coming up with the concept, then executing it. I hope the bloody wind dies down some so I can get some photos tonight after his head is permanently re-attached! Don't you love the AOD boy body? It rocks! The old AOD boy body use to have beefier arms too which would have been nice also. TTYL! | |

| Well, it is raining today and windy..does'nt look like pics or riding is on my agenda today. House cleaning is more like it... Well, the hubby is totally into the doll customizing now too...our goal is to get better at it and then sell dolls on Ebay that we get at a good deal blank or redo for a profit. Maybe eventually take a few custom jobs from people we know...dealing with immature teenagers on custom work does'nt appeal to me. Too much chance for miscommunication and problems. Check out this vid! It is the ultimate BJD lovers music video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6xi7VY8iDM | |

| That video was "a little creepy" ! I couldn't resist!. How cool to see a BJD in a music video! Well, we are having the same weather. It is cool, rainy and breezy Rob and I are just hanging out in the house today. We will do our flower shopping tomorrow when it is suppose to be gorgeous! Eric is still sleeping even though it is after 1:00 in the PM But, he finished his finals and is done with his first year of college! Except he has opted to take a class in the summer which will begin on June 23rd. 3 hours on Tues. and Thurs. It is a class he needs to get his Associates degree and wants to get it out of the way before sophomore year. He is such a good boy! That is so cool that you guys are going to start a little cottage industry! How fun! Maybe you will give discounts to good friends I wish you guys lots of luck with it! I can't wait to see how it all works out for you! Enjoy your day of housework Too bad we can't afford maids! | |

| Of course we will give super cyber friend discounts! If you buy a blank doll or head, we will do a custom job for free to give us the experience...You would just have to pay the shipping! Seriously! Who knows if we will ever seriously do a real business...but, I am going to take full advantage of my husband's interest and willingness to let me buy blank dolls and heads to practice on!!!! He has given the go to get a blank SD size head to practice on if one comes up for a reasonable price... I am so frustrated the weather is so not good for taking photos! Curses! I am so excited about seeing how my boy photographs and to take some shots with Mo...so I go out for a bit when the wind has died down for 10 seconds, and take a few shots...then low and behold the battery on my camera dies... | |

I know AOD dolls are not very popular, but there seems to be more interest than there use to be by some folks...so we'll see what happens. It really won't crush me if I don't get much response...You and I love him and that is really all that matters to me!
