| Just the idea of the boob lady was gross! I wouldn't want to see it! Smashing things with your boobs! Ouch! And man those were some bizarre boobs Other than the 24 year old girl singer with the guitar I didn't see anybody I would care to see again. Those girls who "step" danced or whatever you call it were OK, but I have seen many dance troops do that better. The brother and sister dancers were good, but I have "So You Think I Can Dance" 2 nights a week to watch awesome dancers, so I am not that interested in dancers on this show. The little boy David - I don't know that he has any future in singing. I have certainly heard little kids with much better singing voices (like little Bianca who won a few seasons back who was 11) but there was something so special about his whole being. Just precious beyond words! | |

| I didn't think that blonde country singer they put through was very good.
I had to laugh at that potbellied pig that refused to get off the stage and then kept going after Jerry Springer.

| I cannot stand Jerry Springer! I wish the pig had sat on him! (yes, I know that is mean, but his show is like the worst thing I have ever seen ) | |

| I watched tonight. Got reminded from posting here about the pig that snarled and snorted at Jerry Springer. I LOVED the pig!
Nothing really caught my attention tonight so I went back to youtube to watch and listen to Eli again.
Yep, still think he is great.

| Well, I thought the 44 year old woman who found her daughter through MySpace sang really well. Don't see her as a star, but she was good. I liked the college boys drumming bit. It was entertaining, but again, don't see them going too far. Still, I like things like "Stomp" so I will enjoy seeing what all they can do.
Also, I got the biggest kick out of the Ozzie impersonator! What a character!
But I agree, so far for me Eli is the stand out. Oh, and there was a heavy set black woman who blew the roof off the place who was really good too. Sorry I do not remember her name.

| Frazz, they just said who was going to be performing tonight and Eli wasn't mentioned. They showed him last night in a little interview and said he was coming up so I thought it was tonight. Last night was the first 10 of the top 40 and tonight is the second 10 of the top 40. So I guess we have to wait and see if he is in the 3rd set or 4th set. So sorry about that. As soon as I find out which night he will be on I will let you know. At least now you can concentrate on the Convention! | |

| OK...the main convention TV is over (I will check out what is on later, and dig up clips of other things that went on today)..so America's got Talent is on now.
Even if Eli doesn't show up tonight, i enjoy this show.
Whenever Eli does come back it will thrill me if he is as good as the first time.
I am glad to see that Donald Braswell got the wild card vote (the guy who sang Wind Beneath my Wings). I am not sure why I am glad, since he wasn't all that great first time out, for my taste, but I am glad.

HAH! Once I saw that Neill the large opera guy was paired with Boy Brittney Spears to see who was going home, i knew the answer, but I secretly hoped the opera guy would get the boot. I really resent how the Brits try to make things be identical to the version of the show they do there. Paul the British Opera Buy was fabulous. We do not need a lesser imitation.

| Yeah, I knew Derrick was a goner too. I got a kick out of him He did a good Britney and I think Vegas is a good place for him. Like I said at my board - is there even a place for Operatic guys in Vegas? He has a great voice though. I just don't really buy that type of music. I do have Josh Grobin's first CD but then I tired of it after a few listens. Haven't played it in years. It is a fun show though! So Eli will be on next week for sure - either Tuesday or Weds. I hope he does really well and makes the final 20! I'll talk to you next week after he is on! Take care | |

| I like Neal. He got me when he sang 'Nessun Dorma'. Of course no one can compare to Pavarotti's "Nessun Dorma". | |

| Oh yeah. Pavarotti's version was sublime. Actually, versions...I love it that there are dozens for us to listen to.
In fact, I think I will give a listen right now! Thanks for the reminder.

| Is anyone besides me not all that impressed with "Queen Emily"? It's not that she isn't talented or that can't sing but really I just don't see anything particularly special about her.
Regarding a place for opera in Las Vegas, how about a place for four year old singers lisping their way through the Disney songbook?

There is nothing special about her, you can find singers like her everywhere. Funny last line, Badger!! Somehow, I just don't see many people going to a 4 yr. olds show in Vegas!!

Tonight, I thought the baton twirler was the best followed by the Taubl Family. Everyone else sucked.

| WHo woulda thought a baton twirler would be the highlight!
But yeah, the rest of the show was bad..I missed the 2nd to last (the family you liked) so I can't say anything about them. I tuned out and went searching for political scandals, then tuned back in for the finale.

| Eli was on tonight and he was awesome!! My mom called when he was finished (her first time seeing him) and she just LOVED him!
I know he will make Top 20. I hope he goes really far!
Most of the rest of the show was pretty bad. Not too many acts on this show that I would be interested in. But it is an entertaining show and I love Piers and Sharon!
Talk to you next week when we see Eli make the top 20!
ETA: Eli is second to the last! You will be thrilled with his song and the judges comments!

| ELI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. I think he is absolutely great. I was afaid to believe I would think it second time around, but I do.
What a wonderful, musical, poetic talent!
It is kind of ridiculous thinking back to ALL the other acts I have ever seen on this show (much though I adored Terry Fator the singer/ventriloquist from last year) how much more of a true world class talent this guy seems to be.
I doubt he will be a superstar, and I can't quite see him having a long Vegas run, but I sure can see him being a star, including a radio star, if he gets played.
Adult contemporary...that is the category, right?
