| Yes he was! The judges and the audience thought so too! It was his best night! I think he is a shoe in for top 5 - but I voted anyway - 10 phone and 10 on-line. Gosh, if he doesn't win I'm so worried about what will become of him! Some label has GOT to sign him! I will need to have that CD dammit!! I mean he is far to good to just fade away like other Talent show runner ups. I don't think anyone other than Terry has had any real success from this show. | |

I've got it bad. Got my votes in! Hope it's enough. But man, Neal was awesome! So were Stringz!! They just could win. Donald bores me. Sorry. And Queenie can sing - but so not my thing. The world really does have enough Divas - am I right? We have to wait a whole stinking week! A WHOLE STINKING WEEK! To find out the fate of our beautiful boy!! (praying at the alter of music gods everywhere that this boy is signed by next Thursday morning!)

| Ok...as we go along:
Donald Braswell....I do think he would be fine as a thrid replacement for the grown up male lead in "serious" Broadway type musicals (Man of La Mancha, e.g.). He has no chance of being a hit elsewhere, in my book. Josh Groban he ain't.
Neil E. Boyd: Nope. He just ain't that good. Paul Potts (the British guy they are trying to replicate here) does it better.
But Nuttin but Stringz!! BRILLIANT!!!!! I actually really hope they win and that Eli comes in ONE vote behind them. They really did their act more and more like GOOD Vegas. They deserve the shot there. They are the act that deserves to win this particular show.
Eli...he is absolute perfection for me. No need to try to fit his uniquely shaped peg into the Vegas pole. If I could I would sign him myself. I am certain he will get a real shot at non-Las Vegas career.
OK...ELi is on now...I'll be back.

| I love him. I love his voice. I love his acting of the songs. I love him.
And that is it.LOL, FC, I think the reason I don't really consciously think of any of these guys in a romantic way is that I can't help myself from feeling ancient in comparison.
Off to vote for Eli...here.

Interesting: I thought the show was over (since it was, for me) and went to vote online and had no troubles voting, and then I realized Queen Emily was still on! So I was able to vote before the end of the show here.
I hope my votes count! | |

| Eli certainly is cute without the hat but I thought his performance was only okay. However, I didn't think anyone was all that great tonight. I had to agree with whoever said that Queen Emily gave her best performance tonight but even she was only okay.
My guess is that it's Nuttin But Strings to lose. However, I do feel the other finalists will all get careers out of this. I have absolutely no doubt that Eli will get a recording contract as will Queen Emily and I see a future in musical theatre and symphony concerts for Donald. I'm guessing Neal Boyd will go the popera route.

| The weird thing about Eli's performances on this show is that the sound levels for all but the first performance are way off. i actually didn't even realize he was singing the last line of his song tonight, which certainly killed the ultimate effect it was supposed to have.
It isn't him causing that...even before he starts singing and playing you can hear something weird go on with the sound, and suddenly it is many levels below what went before.
Except for his first performance on this show they have all be technically botched, and nothing to do with him.
I find his acting skills at singing so magical that I am certain that once he is shown and recorded with some professional sound people he will be so dazzing I will just plain fall down in awe.
I hope Emily gets to make a living singing/performing. Same for the others.
If I found myslef on some lark in Vegas, I would really like to see Nuttin but Stringz.
But Eli..I am frustrated by how they keep screwing it up on the show. I really want to see him and hear him, and will absolutely go to see the first live show I have access to, preferably in a smallish venue, or at least one with sound technology meant to capture what he is doing, clearly.

| They don't perform again do they? I thought last week was it and then the finale.............
Am I wrong?
I'm not sure I want him to win............. I don't want him tied into a Vegas show.......I want him out making music for all to hear. He has to be snatched up for a recording contract!

| I don't know how they have it set up. I want Eli to come in a very close second to Stringz.
The reason I want it to be close is just so some major, reputable, company gets behind him to do it they way that suits him, but with some extra bucks.
He does not belong in Vegas. Maybe after a long fabulous career he can do Vegas (like when he is 50).
Stringz can do Vegas now and suit both themselves and the hipper aspect of Vegas.

| If I remember last year, the finalists all performed with their "idols" but it was like they do on the American Idol finale so it wasn't for votes. And they had already eliminated the contestants in the 4th and 5th positions.
I wonder if they'll do that tomorrow night. You know, eliminate the bottom 2 right away or what. My guess is that the bottom 2 if they do it that way will be Donald and Neal but really who knows?
