| Badger, I put a list of quotes from Clay during the Meets and Greets in his thread here.
His quote of "Put out the covers CD or you wait 3 years" is on the list. This list is at the OFC as well as The Clay Board. I bolded some of his CD quotes. Check out the list!

| Here's a link to some Bo videos where he's performing his new music.
Bo videos
Bo seems to be really excited about the new CD.
If you're interested in Bo's lyrics,
I Ain't Gonna Die
American Blood Incidentally, he wrote the song with Chris Tompkins who also wrote "Before He Cheats". Bo and he have been friends for over ten years.
I'm Gone - also written with Chris Tompkins
This page has links to some of Bo's other lyrics There are also some stories about how Bo came to write those songs.

Oh, and welcome to the boards!!!!!!!!!!! You're welcome, sky and thanks for the welcome. It's funny but a lot of Bo's fans really would like him to cut his hair - not short but maybe the length it was when he auditioned for the show. I love the long hair myself mainly because I'm from that generation when all the cool guys had long hair.

| OK, I'm just gonna say this and get it over with.
I watched "The Soup" this morning. I saw him come on and for the first time in a long time I didn't avert my eyes. I just let myself go with it and give The Shmuck a chance.
So, I watched and...I laughed. Out loud. Hated myself for it, but there it is. He hit just the right note and didn't take himself too seriously. Even the smile was in keeping with the mood.
I was chatting with this girl from the Jared thread and she said she doesn't understand why people go on and on about what a great person Jared is. I told her that if you came from the fandom I did, she wouldn't be asking that.
After much arm-twisting, I told her who I had liked. She asked me what his appeal was. I told her: We thought he knew he was cheesetastic. Then we realized he actually took himself seriously. Then the reading of the fanfic and posting on his own damn message board and the creepy greasy thing.
That post on GS. Sigh. I can't say I'm surprised.
You know, I remember a time when I was a faithful poster there and we thought he might come to the board. Some were concerned that it just might be a bad thing if that happened, because nobody would be free to say what they really felt.
First of all, everything they said they wouldn't do, they did (making it a YES board) when they kept saying how they welcomed all opinions.
Then when he came on there...well...there was no turning back.
He needs to step away from the fans. He just can't help himself.

| Okay I have to ask. Who thinks GB will sell 150,000 cds? He said in Entertainment Weekly that if he sells that many he will be a rich man. I really don't think he can sell that many , even with some of his fans buying multiples. | |

| I don't think he will either unless he gets some radio play and some good exposure, like appearing on SYTYCD or MTV. BTW, for some reason I just did not like that comment in that interview. Something about it came across as he was more into the money than the music. His last few print interviews left me cold. | |

| Carrie previewed her new song from her upcoming CD at a concert in Dixon. CA. It is really good and really showcases her strong vocals. She no doubt has another huge hit on her hands. I think Carrie will indeed be as huge and successful in country music as Faith and Martina. The sound quality is not the best on this vid, but you can tell her voice sounds incredible!

From the lovely Perez Hilton (I don't like him either GE; he used to steal Neill's pix for one thing.)

I agree...he just can't keep that obnoxious, conceited attitude to himself can he? He really should STFU about being getting rich off selling $150,000 CD's. He is more into the money rather than the music- that is crystal clear, and why I can no longer stand the sight of him or wish to support putting a dime in his greasy pocket. Austin, thanks for bringing the Taylor news from Perez over... Who can say whether the "rude" reports are true or not, especially considering the source. But, I am impressed that he found himself a professional WOMAN to hang with and seems to know how to treat her to keep her around. He can be the biggest Divo in the world professionally, but it really all comes down to being able to find love, friends, and having a life beyond the spotlight. That is a true indicator of whether the person is a healthy human being or not.

| The hat , the white shoes (I think my dad had a pair in the 70's) the two young children on his arms Yeah, he looks like a joke. I do not get this guy at all I mean, what is he really? What is he really about? What career does he really want? I'm thinking any career that gets him laid A LOT. Man, when I think back to "Nights on Broadway" and "I Think I Love You" on AI and we all thought this guy was so artistic ...... | |

| First of all, FC, I cannot believe that you didn't comment about me enjoying his performance on The Soup. I would think this would be front-page news! Me: admitting that?
Second, that picture just sums it all up. I'm sure GS has an excellent spin on this picture (remember the one of him starting at Michaela's tits? - they had an excuse for that too).
There is so much wrong with that picture, there's no possible way to begin. Between the underage girls and that outfit - head to toe a DON'T! White loafers? Are those white loafers? Sigh. He's so out of touch.

| I'm sure they're over 18. but man, do they ever look like jailbait! Shocking news - Quote :
- Former Fox American Idol contestant Corey Clark, who made headlines back in 2003 for claiming to have had an affair with co-host Paul Abdul, was arrested at around 2:45 am in North Little Rock, Arkansas early Monday on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police were dispatched after receiving a call for a suspicious vehicle sitting in the area.

| Well, Corey getting arrested isn't shocking to me! He is so creepy! You're right GE!! How could I forget to comment on that! THAT is shocking news!! GE liking something GB!! Well, he was funny on that clip. Well Badger, all the reports are that they were underage and kicked out of the clubs for that reason. Just the fact that he showed up at clubs with SEVEN women on his arms is so pathetic, regardless of their age. Yeah, it is worse if they were underage, but either way it is just such a Hefner thing to do. I don't read GS but I am sure they think it's either adorable, a yummy flavor, "that a boy" or the girls all tricked him. I am also sure Koukla thinks it is all the girls' fault. It always is with her. (I say that with a deep fondness though. I think mostly she is a sweetie) I don't remember anything about Con looking at Mikala's tatas. Doesn't surprise me though . | |

I agree with you, but I was afraid to say anything. Have no fear - this too shall pass! - Quote :
You know, I remember a time when I was a faithful poster there and we thought he might come to the board. Some were concerned that it just might be a bad thing if that happened, because nobody would be free to say what they really felt. And so it came to pass. I am terrified to speak over there anymore. If I don't throw out the rainbows and puppies, I get pounded. By GB himself, no less. He knows who I am and the last time he spoke to me he said something "Hey, Abrahdeuce, did you just say something pleasant? What have you been smoking?" OK, lamebrain, were you intending to sell me an album? - Quote :
First of all, everything they said they wouldn't do, they did (making it a YES board) when they kept saying how they welcomed all opinions. Actually, I think the mods still do. It's just that there's a particular gaggle of posters who turn into screaming twits whenever you say something like "Constantine is not a real musician" (in the same way that say, Taylor Hicks is.) - Quote :
- He needs to step away from the fans. He just can't help himself.
He even tried. He just couldn't keep it up. - Quote :
Something about it came across as he was more into the money than the music. His last few print interviews left me cold. Well, yeah, I've known THAT for a long time. Ultimately, I think Constantine is into being famous. In my kinder moods, I think Constantine is into performing - and honestly, I've seen him live five times, and he's generally really seemed to enjoy performing. But he is NOT a real musician in the way that Taylor or Bo are. I think that's one of the reasons he's got so many "flavahs" as GS puts it. GB will do ANYTHING that keeps him in the spotlight/working in the biz - put any spin on it you like. And here's where I will give him his due; so far, that fanatical desire to stay famous has, in fact, kept him from completely disappearing from the limelight and he is not yet out of the business. I really wish this man wasn't such a damned trainwreck. Something in me still thinks there's a real waste going on here.

| Abrahammy, that's why I'm so upset. I know there's a waste going on there. If he had the same drive of, say, Bo or Chris Daughtry, he could have had a really good career. I'd still be a fan. So would a lot of other people he just totally turned off through his continued bad behavior and addressing fans directly. WHO DOES THAT? If they do, and they believe that person is STILL A FAN, then at least don't try to piss them off so much they run from you. Insulting fans one-on-one (and one-by-one) is a special kind of stupid. Usually if a star goes off on people, it's, oh, I don't know, public freakin' figures! I can't believe he said that to you Abrahammy. Wait-yes I can. Weird that I don't think he knows who the hell I am and there's a picture of me with A, K and his ex-gf! Thanks for realizing what a great effort it took to admit that. I figure if I come on here and blast him, that I should tell the other side as well and be honest. Well, there was a time when the mods - *cough* carpe *cough* would not let you say anything bad and were dinged publicly if you did. I mean, not certain people... I hope things have changed. I remember when someone said that Bo was the real rocker, they almost dragged her through the streets and stoned her. I'm reminded of watching "The Rock Hudson Story" and the agent asked him what he wanted. He said, "I want to be a star". The agent was very happy he didn't say "great actor". GB doesn't care how he gets the spotlight to shine on him, just that he gets the spotlight to shine on him. Wait. Abrahdeuce???? Oh, the Con/Mikalah picture where they insisted he totally wasn't looking at her breasts: By Veruca_Salt at 2007-07-31 | |

| Thanks for the pic GE. Gee, now I wonder how Con got that leering, swarmy rep. How could the GSers say he wasn't looking at her breasts when he is freaking pointing to them?? Oh well.. Abrahammy, I had no idea it had gotten that bad at GS I haven't read "main" there in forever! Too bad because it started out as such a good board for sharing differing opinions and ideas about him and his career. I knew there were a lot of cheerleaders on board, but I didn't know you were getting pounced on for not being all puppies and rainbows. Did GB say that to you in person or just on the board? God I hope it wasn't in person. That would really suck He should be grateful you have stuck with him even though you see all his flaws and freely express your feelings. If he is such an "artist" you would think he would appreciate free expression, as well as any fan who has stuck by him thru everything. I just watched the download of yesterday's B&B. Here it is Aug. and I don't feel they have really given him much to do for a long time. How much longer will he be on the show? It's seem he has gotten about a total of 3 mins screen time in as many weeks. I thought this was going to be a "hot summer storyline"? God those flashback scenes with Rick and Feebs yesterday were pukey (we need a vomit emoticon here) GE, the poster who said "Bo is the real rocker" was Rori and I was one of the ones who took her to task . I did apologize to her later though - after I realized she was right Well, on to one of the real musicians!! - Quote :
- Star Magazine:
Quote: Q&A With Taylor Hicks
Taylor Hicks has many reasons for singing a happy tune. Still riding the wave from his American Idol success, this Southern native has been on the road touring, falling in love and promoting his book of memoirs called Heart Full Of Soul. While he was enjoying an afternoon break, Hicks took a few minutes tell to Star's Ilyssa Panitz what's behind the smile on his face.
WHY WRITE THE BOOK NOW? I feel like I am at a point where I can share my past, such as experiences American Idol, with the public. I also think there is a lot from childhood people will enjoy learning about such as how I got to this point.
SO WHAT FROM YOUR CHILDHOOD WILL SHOCK YOUR FANS? I was a little bit of pyromaniac from the second to third grade. I loved lighting matches.
WHY PICK THE TITLE HEART FULL OF SOUL? It is kind of like me I am full soul.
YOU TALK ABOUT LESSONS YOU LEARNED. WHAT IS THE BIGGEST LESSON YOU'VE LEARNED? I think the biggest lesson came from winning American Idol. It was there I gained confidence, preference and drive. I didn't have that when I started but when the fans kept responding that was the key thing to finding those things.
DO YOU KEEP IN TOUCH WITH ANY OF YOUR AMERICAN IDOL FRIENDS? I talk to Chris Daughtry and Elliot [Yamin].
YOU ALSO LOST A LOT OF WEIGHT. HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO KEEP IT OFF? Yes, that is going good. Because I am still touring, I run around on stage and that keeps you active and on the move.
SO ARE YOU OFF THE MARKET? (Laughs.) I might be. But I will say I am very happy.
CAN YOU CONFIRM THE WOMAN MAKING YOU BLUSH IS CAROLINE LYDERS? (Laughs.) That might be correct. I don't want to say anything else on this other than I am very happy.
WAS WRITING THE BOOK THERAPEUTIC? Yes, very therapeutic. It also kept me grounded.
WHAT'S NEXT ON YOUR PLATE? I want to take some time off to write a record in the fall.
WHAT'S YOUR REACTION TO KELLY CLARKSON DISSING CLIVE DAVIS? She used artistic expression so I am proud of her for standing for what she believes in.
SO ONCE THE TOUR WRAPS, WHERE WILL YOU AND YOUR SWEETIE LIKE TO CHILL OUT? Some beach, somewhere soon — I kind of like panhandle of Florida.
