| So sorry you went through that GE Hugs to you big time! It was HORRIBLE for me! I cried my eyes out every Sunday night and BEGGED my mother not to make me go to school - and this was Catholic school! I still remember the names of every boy that made my life miserable and I completely believe I am still effected by what I went through. So for me Jacob is "David, Sean, Mark, Terry, Roger, Mike, Clint and Peter." The good thing is we blossomed! I have seen pix of you and you are ADORABLE! So you got the last laugh! I myself see AI as a "talent show", same as "So You Think You Can Dance". I don't think they are reality shows like Big Brother or Survivor or that God awful "Girl Next Door" Now - for IGB. BENJI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| Oh, Green Eyez, honey, we could have a drink and chat about getting teased. Pretty bad for me, too.
As for Jacob - I think he really doesn't like this particular season particularly strongly.

| Thanks FC and Abrahammy. It's good to know I'm not alone. I believe I begged my mom on more than one occassion not to make me go back.
One day, Abrahammy, we'll sit down and trade war stories!
I agree that Jacob isn't too thrilled with this season.

| Were we all teased and ridiculed in school? So exciting that Bo and wife are going to have another boy and that his CD had a spike in sales. It's a great CD! | |

| Awwww...I might have gone if I had known Annie was going to be there!
Well, I'm still seeing a band doing cover tunes tonight. So, you know, that should be fun!
My poor Sony friend had to go to the CBS studios today where they film Idol. I extended my sympathies. It's a zoo.

| WOW! You too Sky? How sad we share this The show tonight sure has some heartbreaking stories. Carrie was awesome! What a gorgeous woman! Beautiful song she sang. That sounds fun GE. Congrats to Bo for having another little boy on the way! Having two sons is so much fun! Glad he picked up some more sales too! Most of the show was taped Sunday I thought? Our local Fox news is running a promo about David A. It's about his song choice of Angels last night. How he said in the intro that he struggled to find the right song, when it turns out he has been singing that song for years in competition and other events. I know most of the songs he has been singing on AI he has been singing for years. I know at some other boards people are saying "isn't it funny that all these songs he has been singing for years are cleared and he happens to get them". | |

| Funny, I was just watching TMZ and they were talking about how he made it seem like he just "happened" to pick the song. It wouldn't be so bad if he just realized we'll find this stuff out and not pretend like he was "struggling". Oy.
Yes, it is "odd" that his songs are suddenly cleared.

| I know. When you hear things like they have only 24 songs to pick from each week, and David A. happens to get ones every week that he has sung in competition and on Star Search it does not take a rocket scientist to figure out he's been TCO all along. I was bugged at him doing the looooong glory note in the group number just now when nobody else did anything like that. The kid is starting to bug me. Or is it the obvious TCO and OTT praise that is making me turn on him? Am I the only one a wee bit creeped out by just turned 15 Miley acting all sex kitten on the stage in her second number? | |

| Yeah, it's like in Final 3 week in Season 2 when Kimberley Locke and Ruben Studdard just "happened" to pick songs from the fishbowl that they'd either sung before to great acclaim or songs that were right in their wheelhouse. Poor Clay got a song he had never heard and didn't particularly like. | |

| AND at the last minute they add that extra line for him that he didn't get to rehearse and didn't know where to come in Of course he handled it with pure class and professionalism. My guess is the whole damn fishbowl was full of "Vincent" when it was handed to him Boy, Mariah is very talented, but man she got on my last nerve by the end of that song | |

I think it's Carly. Which would be a shame.

| Actually Abrahammy THAT scares the shit out of me! We all know who was really riding high the last several weeks - David Cook. I will seriously be a mess if it is him. I mean seriously. The joy of the season will be totally ruined for me like it was when Con got the boot. I don't think I will be able to take that kind of disappointment again. Carly has been in the bottom. David hasn't and the fact that he brought up Con's never being in the bottom is what makes me think it could be David. I am already in tears. David cannot get the boot on my birthday dammit!!!!!!! ETA: Crap! I am reading on other boards that that is what people think also. That it will be David Cook. I seriously feel like I am going to vomit right now | |

| I so hope you are right Janice. I would be OK with Michael going. If David goes out 8th I just don't know what will become of him. I really need him to get a contract and make a CD. I am going to be a nervous wreck tonight. | |

| This bit of news is posted on Broadwayworld.com. - Quote :
- Following the announcement that Sir Lloyd Webber will appear on the hit US TV program American Idol, we can confirm that the episode featuring Sir Lloyd Webber will be transmitted in the USA on FOX (Tue. 8/7c) on April 22nd. He will be guiding the contestants and as they perform a selection of his songs from the set of Phantom - The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas.
Andrew will also perform live with the contestants on the results show which will be shown in the USA on FOX (Wed. 7:30/6:30c) on April 23rd.
The shows will be broadcast on British television the following week. Broadway and Vegas come to AI??? I will be interested to hear Simon and Randy's comments in light of their critiques of Clay and Constantine when they were contestants.

| Yes, I think ALW night is going to be very interesting. I wonder how many of these contestants have the range to sing him.
I thoroughly enjoyed the IGB show last night. I had no plans to watch it; was working with it running in the background. But by 8:30, I was fully absorbed. Really well put together show. I especially loved the filmed pieces of Alicia Keyes and Brad Pitt.
My prediction has been Carley to leave this week. But we shall see how it goes.

Okay, this is scary. If it's Carly thats okay. Just so that it isn't Michael, David C or Jason.

| FC...............let's just try to relax, and think positive. It just can't be David C.................I know that Jason isn't going to win, but I would like him to go far enough to get some kind of contract and Michael probably can't win either, but he needs to go further too. If they could just get rid of David A................. | |

| Sky, the thing is we know darn well it isn't Archie that is going. Who else has been riding high the last few weeks? The only real shockers would be one of the Davids, maybe Michael. The others have been bottom 3 before. It is possible it is Michael because he was #2 on AI last week and I think 3 or 4 the week before. I have actually been near tears all afternoon. I cannot lose him at number 8. I simply will not enjoy the next 7 weeks knowing damn well Archie is a shoe in to win. I felt only DC could give him a run for the money. It will be so anti-climatic to know this far out who is going to win. Worse yet that it is not one of my faves. After DC I really only have Brooke that I really love (I do like Carly though) and I don't know that Brooke could make it to final 2. I wish I loved Jason as much as you guys so that I could still have a guy to be excited about, but DC is the only male I really love this season. The others I like, just not crazy about them. Man, I wish we still had Rock Star! Always several guys to love on that show! Just think - tonight I could lose my Cookie AND Chloe!! | |
